Perfect for a getaway!

We really loved staying here. From the beginning of the experience Denise was clear with instructions and open to answer everything almost inmeditely. The place is located 5 minutes away from Downtown and 15 minutes from Asheville. We had an amazing time in Black Mountains and we fell in love with the house, the mountains and the experience. Super clean place to stay, only about 15 minutes from downtown Asheville

We had a great trip. The hosts were fantastic and gave us recommendations on where to dine. Hot tub was amazing!! Highly recommended if you want some peace and quiet.

We had a great stay and would love to book again next year! Place was very clean and there wasn’t anything we wish we had that wasn’t already included. Super close drive to downtown too. We love black mountain and this was a great place, glad we found this listing available!

My husband and I were away for our anniversary. It was short distance to Asheville. The place was very clean, loved the fireplace and hot tub.

Black mountain is one of our favorite places on the planet and now this will be one of the first places we look to stay when we're in town. Really enjoyed the location and privacy. Great hosts and place to stay

Our stay was fantastic. I booked the weekend for us to visit our favorite town of Black Mtn and to enjoy the Sourwood Honey Festival and to relax. The VRBO was in an excellent location to relax and enjoy the sounds of nature. We did not use the hot tub but it was nice to have it as an option. Our hostess was friendly and accommodating and an excellent communicator. We will definitely be back!

Great stay at this property! Everything was exactly as advertised and we could not have picked a better spot for a peaceful getaway. Thank you for sharing your guest suite with us! We would definitely return when in the area.

Great location. Secure and semi- private. Great for our needs. We utilized the toaster and microwave to make our eggs, broil our onions, mushrooms, and make toast. Very close to downtown Black Mountain. There was construction at house next to property from 11 am to 4 PMish. Owners were very nice and provided privacy as much as possible.

I had a great stay. I spent a majority of my time hiking and not at the property, but it was a great place to come back to and relax. Good location!

ideal spot in the heart of the mountains. gracious hosts. comfortable, and clean. definitely not a place to do a lot of cooking, but the hot tub is fabulous.

I was visiting the area for a solo hiking trip. The unit itself is so nicely decorated and appointed. Bed and pillows super comfortable and the hot tub was great. Black Mountain is a very cute town and this unit is very convenient to the grocery store and downtown Black Mountain. The owner was able to accommodate me and get the hot plate working for me because I like to make a big breakfast prior to hiking. Took me a minute to figure out the toaster oven because the controls were hard to read, but it worked fine. Great hosts and great hot tub unit!

Space was perfect. Very clean and has the feel of upscale hotel! Wonderful amenities, including hot tub.

My husband and I enjoyed our birthday getaway. The close proximity to the cute little town of Black Mt and Asheville was a plus! The accommodations were perfect with everything we needed. The hot tub was really nice and the bed was very comfortable. The pumpkin bread was an added bonus! We even enjoyed Netflix! We can't wait to return!

Denise was an awesome host! We arrived really late and she made sure we had detailed instructions to get in on our own and turned the heater on for us so it was nice and warm when we arrived. She also had some pumpkin bread waiting for us upon arrival! The location is great. We split our time between Asheville and Black Mountain, and Denise provided great recommendations for both areas. I was a little hesitant to book something that was connected to the owner’s home, but I’m so glad I did! We were very comfortable and Denise’s thoughtful touches made it feel like home. Overall this was perfect place to come back to after a long day of hiking and exploring the area.

My husband and I love Black Mountain and wanted to spend a few nights there on the back end of a work trip to celebrate our anniversary. We've both stayed with bigger groups in and around Black Mountain multiple times, but since it was just us, we wanted something centrally located, reasonably priced and clean. And we were so thrilled with this beautiful property. Denise was lovely to work with, and it was clear she'd made a point to think of so many little details - including homemade pumpkin bread waiting for us upon checkin. The studio was well appointed, fresh and nicely renovated, and super clean. The queen bed and sheets were very comfortable. The hot tub was such a nice bonus, and although we could hear the owners walking around upstairs and the neighbors doing some work one morning, the entire weekend felt pretty private. The proximity to downtown Black Mountain was great. It wasn't very walkable because you have to cross under the interstate overpass, but it was a super quick and easy drive to the downtown area or to Asheville. The cost to value ratio makes this place a total gem, and we can't wait to come back for another visit.
