We’ve rented houses before for beach vacations. This was our first experience with a Vrbo and a lake vacation. Hands down, the best rental ever. The house was perfect. Lots of space, beautiful decor, fully stocked with every amenity you could think of, plus it was immaculate (I am particular, I even checked for dust in the corners, and not a leftover crumb in the kitchen). The owners, the Trulleys, answered every question and concern with speed and accuracy. Ann was so nice. One evening, there was a power outage and we were notified immediately. The kids enjoyed the beautiful pool. The spacious deck was utilized by all. Being early in the season, the lake wasn’t crowded and we took advantage of it. We rented a pontoon boat and had the best time by tubing and just plain enjoying the beautiful lake. We’re positive that we will doing another lake vacation in the future.

The property was everything we hoped for and even more. The owners really paid attention to details and were excellent communicators. All rooms were clean, the kitchen had plenty of plates, cups, pots, pans, etc. There were plenty of garbage bags and little touches that were greatly appreciated (i.e. ice maker/ ice bags, nice washer and dryer). Signs everywhere to explain house rules. The pool was beautiful and very private! I have rented many homes across the country and this was as nice as well appointed as anything I've rented.

I can't recommend this place enough! It was absolutely the perfect place for our family (8 adults, 4 kids: age 3-13) to enjoy a long weekend together! The house was clean and had literally anything and everything we could need or want. It was only 3 minutes from the marina so we had a perfect day on the lake and came home to make a fire in the pit for s'mores! The kids absolutely adored the bunk beds downstairs and we ate outside on the deck every day to enjoy the incredible surroundings. Literally everyone wished we could stay longer!

This is a beautiful home that serve our family exceptionally well for the Thanksgiving holiday! We had fun cooking, playing games and enjoying the view of the mountains... We had a group of 18 and it was a plenty of room for everyone. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a spacious place to create memories!

This house is amazing and our entire group of 17 people agreed that is the perfect setup for a large group. Ann was excellent to work with and very responsive with any questions we had. This place is a 10/10 if not better and would HIGHLY recommend! Thanks Ann for accommodating our group for my aunt’s 70th birthday and allowing us to stay at your beautiful home!

We have to say this house and area was ecstatically enjoyable! The house was immaculate! Perfect for our family of 12. Plenty of space and rooms to spread out. We brought our boat, and our ATVs. The house came equipped with a boat slip for us to keep the boat at for the week. Just had to roll down the hill a quarter mile and we were there. We brought our golf cart because there is golf cart parking at the marina. The Cumberland WMA Property was located just a few miles away and has 170 plus miles of riding trails, hunting, fishing and plenty of outdoor activities. We made friends with a park ranger who gave us the paths and roads to navigate to all trails, No Trailering needed after arrival till departure. There are ATV approved roads and side by sides are tagged to ride on roads. House equipped appropriately for all cooking living needs! And plenty of rainy day games in house! The pool was absolutely perfect as our trip week was very hot and humid! It gave us the perfect cooling off spot and kids play. The Truelly’s have thought of pretty much everything and are perfectly supportive hosts! Thank you so much for your hospitality and opening of your house to us! We pray we did enough to help the cleaning staff spin the house for the next guest which I understand is you all! I can assure we will be back renting this property again as long as it remains as such! It’s a beautiful house and I would think it’s hard to leave this house as the homeowner!

We had a wonderful stay at the Splash House. The house is as beautiful as it is big. Ann was the best to work with! When planning a stay for a large group, I ask a lot of questions and Ann was always quick to respond, and very informative. All of us enjoyed our time staying here, and hope to return in the future

This house has EVERYTHING. The owners are amazing and so responsive. The house was perfectly clean with every ammenity you could ever need for a family vacation. We had every age range with us from 66, to 30, to 8 years old to 4 month olds and it was perfect for everyone! We will definitely be returning

Great property for our 5 families. The pool was a must for us and filled our need. Plenty of space for numerous simultaneous conversation. Everyone had their separate bedroom/bathroom with the kids laying claim to the basement. The lake is not far and a lot of fun with boat and jet skis.

I have stayed at VRBOs multiple times and this property was absolutely the best. It is as described (actually better). The owner must be a chef because everything I needed was there in preparing meals. I really appreciated the little extras including a welcome gift, quality linens, kid friendly plates/cups, etc. We took advantage of the Lake (only .5 miles down the road) and had such a great time on the pontoon/speed boat tubing. There is evening entertainment outside at the Marina bar area. Every detail was managed in regard to the pool/hot tub. Only suggestion I have is to somehow build a railing/fencing around the stairs that goes from the upper deck to the pool - very dangerous for little ones even with close supervision. The whole family was grateful to have their own on suite bathroom- makes a huge difference. Ann (the owner) was very responsive. If you question if this is worth it- absolutely!

This is a beautiful, spacious house. We were a family of 10 adults. Plenty of room to spread out. We could gather at several spots, both inside and out. Or there were numerous niches where one could escape the group to read or just take a quick nap. The house was spotlessly clean. Ann has done such a good job of decorating that it just has a very homey feel. The kitchen was large enough for all to scavenge for a meal or snack. It had more than just the necessary utensils and gadgets. Ann thought of everything to make cooking a breeze. It helped to have 2 refrigerators and a freezer. The bed linens and towels were first rate. It had a high end bed & breakfast feel. There were plenty of nice toiletries to make the stay complete. We spent many hours in the hot tub and lounging around the pool. Both were cleaned either before we arrived or during our stay. There’s a large table on the deck where we enjoyed many meals and played games. Chairs and lounges were scattered around the pool and on the deck. All of the pluses are too many to list. Suffice it to say that the whole family was impressed with the house and the attention to detail.

We enjoyed 8 wonderful days at the Splash House for our families Christmas vacation!

This was the ultimate place to stay. The owners was very detailed in their design and functionality of this house to ensure everyone can have a great time. A total awesome Gurls Trip. We will be back. Thank you Ann.

My husband and I, our 5 daughters, ages 17-35, husbands, boyfriend, 2 grandchildren and the Great grandparents met in Tennessee for our annual holiday. The house was perfect, with first floor rooms for the elders, all w private baths, a suite for the daughter husband and two grandchildren (both under 2 years old-kitchenette was perfect), and private and practical space for the rest. The upstairs downstairs (downstairs gathering space) allowed for the visiting to go well into the night without disturbing those sleeping upstairs or the children in their quiet space above the garage. The kitchen was nicely stocked for a large gathering to prepare meals and the downstairs bar, well stocked (glasses and tools) for cocktails and pool snacks. The pool deck and outdoor spaces had ample seating and space for dining, games (many at the house), laying in the sun and visiting. The pool decking allowed our arranging a private yoga class (affordable and perfect for ages 2-81— Brittany, Divine Yoga) and the location was convenient and easy to access the lake, area activities and shopping in town, 3 miles away. The outdoor green space was plenty for children playing and walks and talks w the 2 year old granddaughter. Lol. My only suggestion would be an ice machine that would support the many that this home accommodates. Overall, the home is beautiful, designed for all ages to enjoy, well maintained and appropriately furnished for a large gathering. The owner communicated quickly and was thorough in sharing all we needed to access and enjoy the Splash House.

Property exceeded our expectations and was even better in person. The layout is wonderful for large, multi aged groups especially since the basement is perfect for kids/teens. The best part is the large stocked kitchen and ample open indoor or outdoor covered dining spaces. In addition there are 3 fridges.

We had a huge group of friends and family for a week at the house and we loved it! There was something to do for every age, we had 1 year old and up. The kids took over the downstairs and the adults enjoyed the main level. Could not recommend this house enough. We hope to be back!

Our family has been renting homes for summer vacations since 2000 and this is by far one of the nicest houses we have rented, First off, the house is huge . We are a family of 16 including two infants and we not only had ample room, but the configuration of the house was perfect for both everyone getting together and each person having a place for private time. The facilities included a kitchen area on both floors and a separate “mini suite” above the garage, which was perfect for the family with the two infants, The house was fully stocked with everything we needed to make our stay unforgettable. Finally, the owner, Ann, could not have been more helpful and pleasant to deal with. Again, this home is one of our favorite rentals.

We had an amazing time! The house was so clean and beautiful! The pool was very clean and so nice. We are talking about going back again! Ann was wonderful and very eager to help with anything we needed!

Best experience in all my many VRBO rentals. Family get together for all ages from less than 1 to greater than 80. House and setting was beautiful. Pool was great for the little ones that are not as fond of the lake and has great set up for toddlers to wade. Organization, floor plan, and amenities were the best I have had at any rental.
