1st time to the area and I was surprised at the amount of people for such a small town. I am not used to that much population. Nice area just not my cup of tea.

The house was adorable and well equipped with everything we needed. Lots of parking behind the house and a quick walk to the beach. My only suggestion would be to add seating in living room. There is only seating for 5 which makes movie nights tricky when the house sleeps 10 (had 8 in our group so some were seated on the floor.) I'd lose the recliners and add another sofa. Perfect property otherwise!!

Great location to beach but curfews for noise and playing loud music were not enforced. Plenty of room for our family of eight. Host thought about a lot of details ( outdoor tables and chairs, beach chairs, beach towels, games, bug spray, flash light, skewers for fire, etc.). Our family had a wonderful week!

While the location was perfect for the beach, there were things at the house we felt need addressed. First a deep cleaning as dust was coming over the sides of the fans. The ice maker wasn’t working and there were chipped cups that needed thrown away. Better chairs around the table instead of metal ones with pads, couch is stained and very uncomfortable.Recliner was peeling and really not enough seating except for five people. TV’s in the two adult rooms would have been very nice also.

The location of this rental is perfect. There is plenty of parking in the back of the house, and it is a short walk to the beach. The house is very clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. We highly recommend it! Thank you!

Great communication with the property owners prior to our arrival and throughout our stay. Very comfy space for our family of five. We loved being so close to the beach and having a wagon to transport our items. Essential beach items provided meant less packing for us. Easy walk to Washington Park area from the cottage. Close drive to Indiana Dunes National Park. Great cottage close to the beach made for a fantastic family vacation!

We booked for 3 night short getaway. Check in went smoothly. Home was adorable. It fit our needs & then some! Located steps from the path to the beach was ideal!
Home seems well insulated because neighbors were really loud outside one night but the moment we stepped into the house we could hardly here them.
We had a great stay. & there were 4 single beds we did not use upstairs that would be perfect for younger children.
We really enjoyed our time at this house!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beach house. SO close to the beach and the beach was not too crowded but clean and inviting. This home was clean and had every imaginable convenience. Kitchen was large which made it easy to prepare meals. Lots of beach supplies provided. Great and convenient parking. Hosts were easy to contact and provided many suggestions for things to do. A gem!!!

Overall the property was very clean, and nicely maintained. We really enjoyed being so close to the beach and enjoyed our stay! The living room we felt could have accommodated more seating, with only a love seat and two chairs it just wasn’t enough for a big family.
