This house was wonderful! Location was fabulous!! Check in was a breeze and the house was even ready early. The owners were wonderful with communication- very quick to respond. Kitchen large and stocked with what we needed. Bedrooms are nice and big - our kids loved the bunk bed room! Linens provided which is always a plus. Having our own private pool and hot tub also a huge plus! We are already planning a return trip!

We enjoyed our stay. The proximity to the beach was great. There is a new house being built between the house and the beach, which takes away some of the beach view (you can’t see this in the pictures listed). The property is very conveniently located. It was walkable to the grocery store, coffee, and ice cream!

We absolutely loved our stay! You can't beat the location! The owners were very thorough in providing details in advance, even texting the day of to ensure they were available when we arrived in case of any issues (there were none). The house was very clean and the beds reasonably comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you may need. There is also a wide array of puzzles, games, movies, and books.We loved the private pool and hot tub! For those with mobility limitations, it can be challenging to navigate the many steps in the house and lack of hand rails, but is doable. There are also two walk-in showers. However, accessing the beach is near impossible with four sets of steep stairs over the dunes and a large drop off into the sand at the end. Certainly not a flaw in the property but important to note for those with accessibility needs.

We are first time visitors to OBX and completely fell in love. The house is on a cul-de-sac and is very private. It was steps away from the boardwalk that lead you to the most amazing beach. The beach was clean, water was clear and it was great for shell hunting. The house was immaculate. Beds and all furniture was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped with everything you could need. The house location was so close to a grocery store and the best Wild Horse Tour company. The owners of the house were always available to answer a question if we had one. The hot tub was a family favorite!

Location was perfect, it was clean and well taken care of, and the owner was super quick to respond to any hiccups or questions that arose. This is the second time we stayed here and did not disappoint. The owners were very responsive and also very accommodating. They also gave us a heads up of construction, which was very thoughtful. It’s a great location and would definitely stay again.

What a perfect home for New Years. Well appointed kitchen made cooking easy and the nice big table was so nice for New Years Eve dinner. Mornings on the deck watching the sunrise were beautiful. Even enjoyed a rainy morning in watching the weather. Great communication with owners. Had a fabulous stay!!

This home is on a cul de sac, has great views and close to groceries and shopping. If you have older people traveling with you I would not recommend as there are LOTS of steps and beach access steps are very steep with a drop off (large step up from beach) to beach. It was also difficult to handle our two very excited retrievers on these steps. When we arrived (after a 5 hour drive) there was no starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels etc so we had to run back out to buy some. The owners were notified and offered to send the cleaning crew right over. There was one bathcloth/towel per person for a 5 day stay (with a linen fee I thought they should have provided more so we weren’t constantly washing). The living area was great, wide open to kitchen with lots of views (you will need to bring baby gates for puppies, small children) to keep them from roaming the 3 levels of this house. We had a few maintenance issues which the owners were great to communicate with but I would hope they would come in And take a good look at the home. Overall maintenance needs some attention badly (moldy vents, dirty air filters, stained bath cloths, broken toilet paper holders). Also, the (very small) SHARED master bath was not desirable. For this size home and the price I expected at least a full size showers and separate toilet area. Overall location and communication were great.

The property was as advertised, and the process was smooth. The floorplan is perfect for a group (we were there for Thanksgiving). Beach access is easy and the neighborhood is quiet. Having the Harris Teeter and local shops (including a local brewery) within walking distance was an added bonus! We really enjoyed our stay, and highly recommend this property if you have a small group looking for a great beach location!.

House and property are beautiful. It was a quiet location which is exactly what we wanted. Perfect for young families with the closeness to the beach and the pool and hot tub.

We chose this week to celebrate our 30th anniversary. Weather-wise - not the best choice as there was a No’easter that stalled off the coast so spent quality time together. I do have to say that the community was fast and furious cleaning up the beach as the storm caused quite a mess. LOVED the house. Very well supplied with everything we needed. We could have left half the stuff we brought. The grands were there a couple days and regardless of the weather they still enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Thank you for everything. I will keep this in my contacts for future visits…later in the summer next time ;-)

We truly enjoyed our time at this beautiful location. It truly is a wonder how close it is to other locations and amazing sights. A short trip down the dune and you are staring at the beautiful ocean. The amenities were great and it was such a relaxing way to enjoy the Outerbanks!

This was our first time to the Outer Banks and I wasn’t sure which area to stay in. I feel like I hit the jackpot with this home. We loved Corolla and being close to Duck. Both towns have much to offer but feel quaint and not super touristy like Kitty Hawk. We had considered bringing our dog but did not. Still nice to have the option. Our teens did puzzles and felt right at home. (They don’t normally do puzzles but it was a little cold our week and it warmed my heart to see them off their phones.) This home has a beautiful view- no other homes blocking the sand dunes and ocean and a very short walk to the beach. You can also walk to a huge grocery store and the famous Duck Donuts. Pool and hot tub are great options also. Don’t hesitate. We would love to return.

We just loved our stay at this beautiful beach house and can’t wait to try to get back in warmer weather! The views are beautiful and the house is fully stocked with whatever you may need. For a family of four with small kids, the home had absolutely everything. It would be amazing for a family, extended family, friends, you name it! Plenty of space and options for activities. You’ll love the beautiful view and might even see a few deer feeding in front of the house. 😃The location is awesome and is close to the 4wd beach access, lighthouse, parks, etc. The hosts are amazing and very kind and helpful! We really appreciated their hospitality, understanding, and customer service. I can’t say enough good things about this property and owners. Thank you so much! Can’t wait to come back!

Who would have thought going to the beach the end of February would be a good idea. Well, it was. The house was just perfect with a great location and we’ll equipped that made our stay so easy. We could see the ocean from the beautiful ,spacious living area and heard the waves lullabying us to sleep at night. We hope to return again!

The house was very clean and well stocked. There was just 4 adults and worked out very well for us. They left a welcome gift with a note, which was a really nice touch. Walking distance to the grocery store, stores and eatery. Would definitely stay here again!

We had an amazing vacation at the Salt Life! The house was very nice, clean, and fully stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The property manager was very responsive and easy to work with. The location was perfect - great ocean views and there is nothing better than waking up to the sounds of waves crashing. We are already planning to rebook for next year!
