Great place to stay

This house is amazing! Great location, kitchen is fully stocked with cooking tools and appliances, plenty of beds and bedrooms, the beach was great, close walk right out the private back patio. The kitchen and bedrooms were very clean and nice.

From the moment we saw the property listing and look through pictures, we knew it was going to be perfect for our family. The view is amazing! Property is very clean and love the interior decor. Couple of issues in top and bottom master bathroom and middle bathroom shower and bunk bed room door to balcony. Beautiful master bathroom but in tub the water would take forever to go down drain. Middle bathroom the shower doors were broken from rail. Bottom shower water would come out of door when you turn on shower head. Older model shower maybe. Kitchen is equipped with everything you possibly use. Spices are expired. We had taken a lot of our spices and other items! Definitely would love going back. Would love it more if check in was earlier instead of 4. First night we weren’t able to enjoy and see everything. But fell in love with beach house and property. One thing we didn’t like was that a group of people went and sat right across the beach access coming out of property. We had to sit away from our area. But other than that our stay was amazing! Can’t wait to go back and stay longer. ❤️Palafox Family

This location is really great, right in the beach and not too far from the sea wall. It’s perfectly stocked, just bring shampoo and conditioner there isn’t much at all. Plenty of beach chairs and toys. Games, DVDs, fully stocked kitchen and appliances. Some sheets need replaced, some are really rough. Good stay though!

We all loved this stunningly beautiful home and all the gorgeous decor. It was the perfect size for our large family. Perfect location right on the beach! We will definitely want to stay again in the summer months We highly recommend this beautiful home to anyone, it was stocked with everything you will need!

Beautiful home & views!

Beautiful property and amenities. All as pictured in listing. Great kitchen with everything I needed to bake and prepare meals and treats. Lovely furnishings in every room. I felt like we were in one of my friends’ home. Views are beyond amazing throughout the house. Gorgeous sunrises from Primary bedroom. Location is good too. Also, easy , short drive to the Seawall restaurants. Good selection of local restaurants too. We have very large men (6’6”) in our family and the seating area in living room worked well. Very nice outdoor spaces too ,and accommodates everyone for dining, lounging and sunning. Separate spaces to get some reading and alone time as well. I can’t wait to return!! PS : Butterflies and dragon flies entertained along with sea birds. Recommend highly

Kitchen was amazingly stocked. House was clean with lots of seating.

The property really does have all you need, just bring your food and your all set. So many things they don't have listed on the website included both drip and Kcup coffee maker, lawn chairs, sand toys, charcoal BBQ all the pots and pans and dinner ware you would need. I would definitely rent this property again.

Great close location to the beach! Lots of living space which easily accommodated our family. Fully stocked kitchen which also included many extras!

The house is beautiful. There are tons of beach stuff for the kids and chairs, no need to bring that stuff. The house is supplied quite well with just about anything you'll need, just bring food. We had a family of 13, ranging from 58 to 6 months and we were all very comfortable and had so much fun.

We loved staying at Butterfly Dunes. It looks exactly like the pictures. It's amazing being so close to the beach. Keep in mind that you are about a 30 minute drive from downtown Galveston, but that didn't bother us. We had a baby along and the rental company provided us with a pack n play (though no sheets so keep that in mind if you also do this). Gary Greene rental company is super responsive and helpful. There were several big storms during our stay and the house leaked in several spots. I notified them by email and I got a call back about sending someone out to fix it. We ended up having them wait to send someone until after our stay since it wasn't supposed to rain anymore, but someone was going to come quickly. Lots of things included like beach toys/chairs, beach towels, tons of extra sunscreen, drink cups, great coffee mugs and coffee/tea. We really enjoyed our stay!

Very nice and comfortable house with everything you need to enjoy your time enjoying the views and visiting the beach. We had such a great time and look forward to visiting again.

Beautiful, spacious, well equipped, comfortable. It was perfect in every way…everything we needed and more. Books, games, movies, cooking supplies. Close enough to Seawall yet far enough for more privacy and the feel of a secluded beach :) Just watch out for snakes in dunes!

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Butterfly Dunes! The property was right on the beach, tastefully decorated, with gorgeous decks and wonderful views of the ocean. Communication with the property manager was efficient and quick. Only recommendation would be to highlight the many amenities that come with the property (Kuerig coffee machine, tons of beach towels, yeti coolers, spices & herbs for cooking…and so on) - these were not listed either in the vrbo description or in the contract…

Description and pictures are accurate! Things we loved: walk out the back door onto the beach, quiet neighborhood, peaceful beach, beautiful decor. All the extras that we weren’t anticipating but we’re pleasantly surprised: yeti cups for adult beverages on the beach! Beach chairs and tons of sand toys, books, games, all the pots and pans you could need, clean and new, 3 coffee maker options, blender, cute plates and glassware, beach towels. Loved the outside shower! Loved the patio furniture on the deck! Beds were nice and comfortable, pillows new and nice. Beautiful sunrises at this location, especially viewed from the master bedroom balcony. Only suggestion we would make would be to put tvs in the bedrooms and upgrade the cable offering (we stayed during the final 4 of basketball and couldn’t get the games!) But totally minor on the scale of how great the property is! Would stay again!

This is a fantastic property- steps away from the beach. The view from the home is amazing. Butterfly Dunes is beautifully decorated and very clean. The property owners thought of everything to ensure our comfort- including beach towels and sunscreen. This home is a little off the beaten path- however, this allowed us to have an almost private beach. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone staying in Galveston. We hope to make a return visit soon.

If you want to spend quality time with friends and families by the beach, away from crowds and busy areas, look no further. This place was very spacious, fully equipped, and super clean. Responsive and friendly staff. All in all a great place to make lasting memories.

We loved this property!! It is pure luxury! The pictures of the inside are spot on. The furniture was beautiful but comfy and cozy. The bedrooms were big and spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with high end dishes and cookware. We stopped by the grocery store and enjoyed cooking in this kitchen overlooking the ocean. It was the perfect place to relax on our girls winter beach trip. There were only 5 of us this time but definitely want to bring the rest of the family back. There is plenty of room! And big nouns… This house is RIGHT on the beach so we could watch the kids play from the balcony. We enjoyed our stay so much!
