Nice place to stay

This place was the perfect little getaway. The place was gorgeous, the beds were so comfy, it had plenty of seating, had access to the lake, had a fire pit just steps away, and a covered deck. It’s even located right next to a restaurant. Would highly recommend this place and would love to go back.

Sisters weekend. Great to be able to go next door to Boat House to watch Buckeyes win. Enjoyed walking on the lake path right in front of house. Thanks for hospitality!

The house is perfect! Very clean, spacious, comfortable beds and pillows. The location is great! This is our 2nd year staying here and we will hopefully be able to stay again next summer!!

We really enjoyed our stay. The check in was very easy and communicated well. It was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Plenty of space for people to spread out. Some in our group were working remotely and they enjoyed the extra space. It was nice being right on the lake.

Online listing says sleeps 10 which would be inaccurate. I would suggest 8 people comfortably as 2 of us had to share the couch (regular couch). Home was nice and neat and very comfortable. It was a beautiful location and we appreciated the extra parking that was available. Home was well stocked with towels and sheets. The property owners were great to communicate with. We truly enjoyed our stay!

We only stayed 2 nights at this lovely home and would have loved to stay longer! We were in Buckeye Lake for my dads memorial service. The location was perfect, a 3 min walk. The property was very nice. Comfortable beds, beautifully decorated and right on the lake and bike trail. We brought our dog and it was so great. The property doesn’t have the most secure fence bud it worked out. Highly recommend. The owners are so nice.

We stayed for multiple nights attending end of the season. The lake was quiet and the house was as represented.

Location of the house is great and the house itself is spacious. However, the rest is not as good. The day before check-in, I received a message from the host indicating which dock is the dock that we could use and they referred me to the photos in the listing to identify the dock. We arrived at the house to find out that the dock was occupied and asked the host. At this point, I was told that because most of the guests do not use the dock , the dock indicated with the red arrow in the listing was rented out for the season. The host then told me that they never promised that we could use a specific dock despite their check-in message explicitly describing which dock we could use and the red arrow in their listing photos pointing to the dock. With some back and forth, the host managed to have one of the boats at the dock moved and we were able to dock our boat there. Later, we found out that the code to the door of the house that was provided in the check-in message could not unlock the door. I contacted the host and was told to try again but the code still did not work. Luckily we ran into the cleaning lady during check-in so we called her and got a different code that we ended up using to unlock the door. The code that was given to me by the host did not work during our entire stay. The listing says there is a fenced yard but the fence has two big gaps where a dog could get out.

This house is much larger than it looks. The inside was newly remodeled and is really beautifully decorated.

Beautiful house with all the amenities needed for our weekend at the lake! Host was very easy to work with and responded to our texts promptly. Would highly recommend staying here and hope to rent again next summer!

The five of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your lovely home. The location was excellent (close to restaurants, lakeside bars, and even an ice cream shop). And the home was spotless with comfortable beds and a gorgeous view of the lake! We will be back! Jo Anne K

The House location is great. Within walking distance to several restaurants and stores. We enjoyed our stay, and you can’t beat the lakefront access! Everything was just as pictured. We will definitely be making the trip back over the next several years. If you are bringing a boat or other watercraft and want to use the House Dock, I recommend checking with the owner before your stay to ensure it's fully available. Also, if bringing a boat, note that Buckeye lake is shallow with an avg. depth of 6th ft.

location location location. In my opinion the 2 best spots to be on the lake is near the boatyard or near the winery. This is not a sleepy lake so if you are looking for lots of quiet pick a spot in a cove. The catwalk in front of the house has an energy for life! We would have loved a front open porch but we just pulled the patio furniture out and sat in the grass.

We celebrated our daughter's 18th birthday. The lake house was beautiful, and the perfect space. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Newly remodeled as far as I can tell- This home has all of the amenities anyone could ask for and was spic and span upon arrival. Location is key and this place is in the middle of it all. The host was more than gracious after I accidentally booked the wrong date last year and we worked it out. Would definitely stay again in the summer months.

We had a good experience at this property. The house is right on the dam and within easy walking distance to a few restaurants and convenience stores. We a disabled person in a wheelchair with us and it was very accessible. The owners were responsive and helpful during our stay. A booklet would be helpful to give guests more instructions. We overlooked the location of the washer and dryer and had to figure out how to use the thermostat and some other smart devices. Overall, the house is great and in a perfect location.

The property was very nice and the owners are as well. I got many compliments from my guests about the place. My only issues about the place is that it did take quite some time for the place to warm up. When I arrived the thermostat was in the 60s but it said the indoor temp was in the 50s turned it up to 72 then 78 and even then after a couple hours the indoor temperature was still only in the upper 60s. This was on a freezing Dec night. The other thing is like a previous commenter said. It's listed as sleeps 10 but it only has 3 bedrooms with queens so that's 6. If you include the sofas then 8 maybe 9 if you use the other part of one of the sofas for a young child. My suggestion: Bring an air mattress or 2 depending on how many you have staying.

The owner was great about answering questions and staying in communication! The home was spacious and beautiful! My only critique is that it really only sleeps 8… 9, if one person can sleep on a sectional. But other than that the house is absolutely stunning and conveniently located!

Reserved the property for an office retreat and it provided exactly what we needed. Excellent updated house right on the lake and walking distance to a variety of local hot spots. Owners were very responsive and accommodating with special requests. Highly recommend!

This lovely home is an excellent location on main lake with an amazing water view! Beautiful interior finishes. Lots of room to spread out. 2 Fireplaces and a propane fire pit. It couldn’t of been a better house for a birthday celebration!

This was a great place to stay for our family weekend trip to the lake! The location was perfect for our young children as the walking path is right outside of the door, there’s a beautiful garden, and it’s next door to an ice cream shop! The house itself was very clean and equipped with anything we could possibly need. Juan was so friendly, helpful, and very quick with communication. We’d definitely go back!

My wife had to do some business travel in Columbus, so we decided to bring our dogs and stay at this wonderful house on Buckeye Lake. The house was wonderful, lots of room to hang out, good Internet connection, and a beautiful garden for our dogs to run around in. The location was great, right on the water, so we were able to get out paddle boarding every day and right next to a great bar with music and entertainment. We will be looking to stay here again the next time we are around the Columbus, OH area.
