Well maintained, clean, very well stocked

The property is well kept with beautiful views of the lake and mountain. We would strongly recommend to get or bring a boat as the lake is huge with hundreds of coves and sights. Shopping is about 15 minutes away and has movies, golf, Kroger etc. Do you like to fish? Then you better to get ready!

Very nice unit. Clean inside and out. nice deck, well equipped, owners very responsive. All rooms have smart TVs. This was our first time to this part of the lake. We had to leave early for personal reasons, so we didn't get to explore as much as we would have liked, but what we saw looked nice. Plan on returning.

This is one of our favorite condos at Bernard’s Landing! Well stocked, great location, updated decor, large wrap around deck. We had a wonderful stay!

We loved our stay at Smith Mountain Lake! The condo is in a perfect location and was well-appointed. The owners were lovely and very responsive.

We had a wonderful stay here for a week in August! We have been coming to Bernard’s Landing for years and have stayed in many accommodations there. Some of the things we loved about this unit include: well stocked upgraded kitchen, very large shady deck, view of Smith Mountain, sandy beach right by the building’s boat dock for kayaks and paddle boards, location on a quiet cove for skiing, and the layout of the condo. There were two couples in our party, so we didn’t use the loft bedroom, but we liked the cathedral ceilings and spaciousness of the condo.

We had a wonderful time at Lazy Days this past week. Berndard's Landing is absolutely perfect for a 2 and 4 year old. We spent most days on the little beach adjacent to the condo and on the day that it rained we made use of the indoor pool! The water in the lake was really warm, perfect for the little ones. We also did some fishing and my 4yo caught his first fish! I managed to reel in an impressive largemouth bass, as well. We made use of the onsite boat rental and rented a waverunner and the Aurora Triton, which we navigated to Bridgewater Marina one evening for ice cream and games. Keeping a 2 and 4 year old entertained is a full time job but with the amenities at Bernard's it was a breeze. The place had everything we needed and the next time we are planning a family vacation, Lazy Days at Berndard's Landing will be high on the list.

Unit is exactly as described in listing and well stocked with essentials. Views in this quiet cove were amazing. Bernard's Landing amenities and beauty enhanced our trip. Owners were organized in their communication and all trip details went smoothly.

Excellent location with beautiful views on quiet area of SML. Loved the extra decks area on the side.. Well stocked kitchen/ pantry. I brought our own kitchen , bathroom and cleaning supplies just in case but nice to know there was a backup if needed. Owner very responsive to any questions or concerns. It felt like home as I have the same dishes in my kitchen! Thank you for a great experience and wonderful place to stay in SML. Would definitely return again!

We loved staying at this property. Amazing views and excellent communication with the owners. There is so much to do right at the resort and it's a very quiet location. Perfect for our family of 4!

I don’t think I have enough room for all I’d like to say. You can’t go wrong with this rental. From the location to the cleanliness everything was perfect.

This condo is very well equipped and has a beautiful view of the lake and mountains. The beds and living areas are very comfortable. If you think you might need extra blankets, take your own. Otherwise, I would highly recommend it. Bernard’s Landing has so many wonderful amenities.

We totally enjoyed our stay. The view is phenomenal and Nancy was more than accommodating!

My wife and I, along with my parents, stayed here for a week and had a wonderful time. The views of the lake are outstanding and the location was very private and quiet. The large deck offers great views of the water and nice spots for meals. Would highly recommend!

Nancy and Dan provide an extremely hospitable rental. From linens to kitchen to household supplies - you will have all you need! The unit was very clean and the view is magnificent. We also enjoyed the community amenities. Hope to come back soon!

Great condo. Stocked with everything you need. The view is amazing and the wrap around porch was a great place to hang out and relax on each day! Very clean and convenient to resort amenities. Highly recommend.

The house was clean and had a beautiful view. Everything we needed was well stocked. Loved using the kitchen and the view from the porch.

We rented this property for a week for a last of summer getaway with our children, age 13, 12 and 10. We brought 2 paddle boards of our own but were easily able to rent one more as well as a two person kayak to have us out on the lake as often as possible. We also brought our tennis rackets and pickleball racket‘s to enjoy on the courts, which we did every morning to start our day! We enjoyed one of the pools for an afternoon but otherwise stuck with fun in the lake. We rented a boat for 2 days of our trip which was super easy to facilitate with the boat rental on property (I highly recommend doing it in advance!). We enjoyed hitting restaurants on the water (which were recommended by Nancy) but also took advantage of the kitchen and electric grill while enjoying the view from the deck. Honestly, there is everything you need from games and movies, small arcade machine, outfitted kitchen, and more to make this stay an easy, fun, active family getaway!

This was our first trip away since the whole covid thing happened and we couldn't ask for a nicer weekend away with the family. The condo was absolutely wonderful. Our first visit to SML was spectacular. We loved this condo!

This quickly became our favorite property at Bernard’s Landing. We visit at least once per summer and this was our first time in this unit. The unit was immaculate and the high ceilings and views were incredible. Much better than other units we have rented. We visited the small beach right down the steps and enjoyed the water. The host called to check on us and was super easy to work with. The listing is completely accurate. We hope to return here many times!
