Our family rented the Long's lovely cabin for a wedding weekend celebration. This house was perfect for our large party. Plenty of blankets, beds, dishes, bathrooms, and seating. Tamara was quick to respond when I had to text her. We felt like family! The views all around the house are beautiful and very private and we enjoyed our stay very much!

This is a good place to stay in a convenient location. The house is nice with plenty of room, although there are some areas with squeaky floors and the view (mountains) is not spectacular. We would certainly stay there again!

Very nice property with peaceful scenery - tree and rolling lawn views. Enjoyed gathering on the ample and well furnished deck and in the living room. Light filled living space with vaulted ceilings was lovely during the day. (Although as far as light goes, full upstairs main bedroom suite and lower level bedroom had no windows whatsoever). Bathrooms were nice and especially convenient to have the W/D available to us. Plenty of parking, which was super helpful given we had 4 cars between the 8 of us. Would have appreciated brighter light bulbs and more light sources in the bedrooms and more robust ammenities for the money, such as filled nuetral soft soap containers in the bathrooms and showers. (Not “Old Spice” or exfoliating and sparkling Coconut we found to use)

As a family of 9, we had plenty of room and enjoyed this cabin. Very clean and nice. Just know if you plan on using fire pit you need to bring your own wood. We loved it here!

We went there for a weekend for a family event and the place was amazing we all enjoyed it and it was very cozy

My extended family was in Lenoir for a family gathering. We especially enjoyed spending time on the cabin’s porch. Two first floor bedrooms were perfect for older family members. The upstairs and downstairs accommodations suited the needs and ages of the rest of our group. We are looking forward to another trip to Lenoir where we can explore the area more.

This place was amazing. Exactly as described. We were visiting family there. It was the perfect location close to all of my family. The check in and check out process was easy as well. I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

Property was very nice and the host was very accommodating about letting us check in early for a family reunion.

Everything was very clean and worked like it should. Easy to get everywhere we needed to go. Children enjoyed playing on the porch and in the yard. There was plenty of room inside so all could have their on space.

We loved being here. The space was great our family and being a tri-level worked well for us. Kids loved the games and pool table. We were comfortable to sit together in the living room and the wrap around porch was pleasant too. Communicating with the owner was easy. Check in and check out also were so easy. Wish we could have stayed longer and hope to visit again.

The property was lovely. The location to the wedding venue was as good as it could have been. The beds were firm and very comfortable. The property felt private, even thou you pass a couple of homes along the way. We had 9 in our group and had plenty of space. The A/C must have needed some freon because it could not keep the house cool. It was cooler outside than inside. We had a note to please leave thermostate around 73 degrees. It cooled to about 78 degrees. Couldn't raise the windows in the bedrooms because they were sealed close. There were no window coverings on the windows throughout the house . We ended up leaving a day earlier than planned because of the A/C problem. We were told the dish washer was not usable a few days of our arrival. We brought paper plates and cups to help with that situation. Overall the house was lovely.

Enjoyed the updated feeling of the house and the spaces it has. Great family area downstairs and enjoyed the wraparound deck that was covered. Host communicated very well

The property was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The beds - all of them, including the bunks and the pop-up downstairs - were extremely comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked, the grounds were beautiful and well-kept, and the kids loved the arcade games, pool table, and fire-pit. And there cannot be enough said about how pleasant and gracious the hosts are! We used the space for down-time to connect with family, and as a base for a couple excursions (Emerald Hollow mine, South Mountain State Park, Bunker Hill covered bridge - highly recommend all of them if you are traveling with kids or practice photography!). For anyone who is still being covid-cautious, or is traveling with family members who are medically fragile, this is a great stay. The host is very compassionate, and a lovely cross-breeze made it easy to ventilate the property when arrived (there is also a HEPA filter downstairs!). 10/10 would recommend staying here - especially in the spring time.

The home was just as described and very clean! Tamara was very nice and even called to help us with the TV downstairs. I will say that TV could be upgraded for future guests to help accommodate with downstairs entertainment. We will definitely be back next time we're in town! (The husband says the porch would be a great spot for a hot tub! ;))

We stayed with friends for a dance competition, great place with plenty of room and amenties.

We could not have been more pleased with this rental! The cleanliness level was immaculate! The location was perfect for accessing the Broyhill Convention Center (our destination) but it was also close to many other things in the area. The host was perfectly responsive to our questions and very thorough in her instructions. The house was well stocked and included everything we needed. I would highly recommend this property and host!

We loved our stay at this house. It felt like home to us. We spent a lot of time in the living room talking and watching movies with family. Those moments are hard to come by now days. The house was close to family so that made it easier for them to visit us. Thank you for providing us with a place to meet with family!

We enjoyed feeling like we were off in the mountains but actually not far from Hickory, Lenoir or Taylorsville. Perfect get-away for a short retreat with friends! Thank you! We’ll book again!

We absolutely loved this property! It was quiet, close to family, and perfect for our needs. Every Christmas my family and I rent a "Christmas house" so that we can spend time together during the holidays and not have to run all over the Carolinas to see one another. There was plenty of space for us to spread out and the house had basically everything we needed. The owners even took the time to decorate it for the holidays, which just made the stay even more special. The owner was lovely and responded quickly when we had questions about turning on the upstairs gas fireplace. We hope to stay here over the holidays again!

We loved staying at this property. It was close enough to shopping, restaurants, and my families house. We loved the Christmas decorations as this made our stay at Christmas time more homey. We definitely stay here again.

We couldn't have been more happy staying in this home! All four of us had our own room. The holiday decorations added an extra warmth and coziness. Many new memories were made here! We highly recommend this beautiful home snuggled in the hills of North Carolina!

Loved the property!

Our stay here was wonderful! The communication with the host was professional and prompt. The house was clean and exactly as listed. The only minor and insignificant things were the driveway to the home and the bed in the master bedroom upstairs. The drive way is difficult to navigate but much easier during the daylight. The bed was so hot! During the checkout I noticed two additional pads under the sheets. Definitely would recommend bringing a fan if you’re hot natured.

This place is perfect! Everything you need and nothing you don't. The deck was gorgeous and the view was spectacular! Right off the main road, very easy to find with the owner's directions.

Beautiful location, lovely home to enjoy time spent with family. Great time was had by all.
