Perfect house for our family trip to the mountains. Jessica and Mark were fantastic and always quick to communicate. Clean, well stocked with a great eye for detail. Would thoroughly recommend this rental.

Before we left, our kids (13M and 8F) made us promise we would come back. The location is wonderful - close to lake Tomahawk and downtown Black Mountain. The beds were comfy and the place had everything you could need (even Q-tips!). For the kids, the outdoor area was king. There is a play house complete with a pulley in case you brought a bucket and a mini basketball hoop. There is an outdoor fire pit and bocce ball court - which we didn’t know we needed until now. Jessica was quick to respond and everything was very easy and clear. We will be back!

Fantastic rental. The house has everything you need for an awesome weekend. Perfectly clean and very kid friendly. Our kids loved the backyard and all of the thoughtful additions for kids (books, games, etc.). We are already planning our next stay!

This house exceeded our expectations. It’s extremely clean and not a detail was forgotten! The kitchen was stocked with everything we could have needed. The property is perfect for kids and pets. There were toys and a pack n play there for us and the back yard was great for our dog. Jessica was very attentive and available right away if we contacted. Highly recommend!!

Our family had a wonderful holiday stay at this cute house. It was great to find hosts that would accommodate our pets! The house is also within walking distance from downtown if you are up for a walk. We have only good things to say about the property. Thank you!

Our stay in Black Mountain over Thanksgiving was everything we needed. The house is adorable, well maintained, high quality linens, perfectly clean, no detail was missed. Highly recommend and we will stay again in this charming little town.

The house is exactly as pictured. We loved the porches and the fenced back yard. Five minute drive into town. Close to the lake for a nice walk with the dogs. Would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful experience staying at this house. The place was spotless and had everything you need for a relaxing vacation. The fenced in backyard was great for us and our dogs to enjoy the good weather as well as the firepit in the cooler evening. 100% would stay again!

Super clean house! Cannot stress enough VERY clean! Host was very quick to respond and helpful with any travel accommodations. Very quiet home in a quiet area very close to downtown. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will consider staying here again!

The cottage was so nice inside and out. Very clean and included everything we needed for our stay. The hostess responded quickly to any questions or inquiries we had. We would definitely choose this cottage again when we return to Black Mountain which, hopefully, will be next year in August.

I highly recommend this great house in Black Mountain! I visited with my spouse and two children (3 years and 18 months). The house worked really well with small children. Open floor plan made watching the children easy, and Jessica provided children toys and books which were a big hit with the kids. There is a tub so bath time was a breeze. The location of the house is great for easy access to hiking and downtown Black Mountain with Asheville ~20 mins by car. The house also has an EV charger which we were able to use with our rented Tesla (you'll need the correct adaptor though). Jessica was easy to reach and always responded quickly. She provided great ideas for hikes and kid-appropriate activities. The house was very clean and organized with a nice supply of kitchen tools for home cooking. Overall, we had a great stay in Black Mountain!

We wanted to be able to visit Black Mountain, Asheville, Mt bike and relax. This was a great spot to relax after lots of driving and walking. The listing doesn't say walkable but if you don't mind a 20-25 minute walk you can get to town easily. We would have rode our bikes but one broke. Sidewalks most of the way. We even walked to the Black Mountain pool and enjoyed that. The host was so quick to answer questions about the home and the local weather in the mountains. Thanks so much Jessica for a great trip!

We absolutely loved our stay in Black Mountain! The property is wonderful and located super close to lots of great food and sights! We had everything we needed in the house. Fenced in yard made it super convenient to travel with our favorite pet also! Would definitely recommend this stay!

So many little places to sit and chat or work, tucked away in a quiet neighborhood within an easy walk of Lake Tomahawk, and dog friendly so we could bring our pup, who was thrilled by the backyard. Communication with the owner was easy and helpful. The property was exactly as advertised. Very clean and two wonderful porches. It was a nice walking neighborhood close to Lake Tomahawk which is very pretty and easy access to Asheville, only 20 minutes away. I would definitely come back to this house.
