This is a sweet little rustic cabin right on the water. It is very easy to walk down to the water. A nice dock. My only comment would be that there are really no overhead lights....it's pretty dark at night but many people may LOVE that. All in all, a nice place to stay.

The property is beautiful. Nice getaway for the weekend.

There was a misscommunication about where we would stay, this was not Tara's fault tho. Tara was very kind thru it all.

Everything was great. The walk to the lake was a steep one. But they said the lake is low this time of the year. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a perfect stay at Tara’s cabin! The cabin is right on the water so we spent the weekend swimming and fishing and had a great time! Perfectly clean with all the amenities you need for the weekend. We will be back!

What a wonderful cabin to call home for a few days! Tara made the check in process easy and the cabin had everything we needed for the weekend. We spent our days swimming, taking advantage of the beautiful porch and cooking. We hope to come back-maybe even in the fall!

The cabin was perfect for our family of 4. It was clean and had everything we needed. Tara, the host, was very helpful and responsive. We loved the gentle access to the lake/dock. This part of the lake was beautiful. We would definitely stay here again!

This is an ideal place for two small families that want separate spaces. The water is very accessible and clean.

The cabin was just as described and clean. I rented this for my elderly parents and yard was too steep for Mom to get to water. Nice location only a short drive from I-65. I was only there to visit but everything seemed just fine.

Do yourself a favor and book now! Very relaxing and the view is amazing. The whole place was very clean and felt like home away from home.

Peaceful, clean, great family spot. Family of 4 (2 kids ages 9 & 11) stayed comfortably. Stores were only about 10 mins away for basic needs. Comfortable beds, kitchen stocked with dishes, cooking utensils, pots and pans. We enjoyed the boat deck although the water was FREEZING in April. We would definitely return and recommend. Thanks for sharing your space with us, Tara.

The only complaint that I would have is that the drive way to the cabin is not numbered on the actual street . The property is beautiful , peaceful and quiet . It’s a wonderful getaway to relax and breathe the fresh air and watch wild life . We will be back soon. I give the property a 5 star rating

The cabin was perfect. Quiet, clean, and peaceful. Almost like being at home and perfect location to cover two of our branches.

This is the perfect spot for a true getaway, the kind where you don't need a full schedule, just a place to be and relax. Very quiet and calm and secluded. Just what we needed for our short weekend retreat.

We enjoyed our quick weekend getaway to this cabin. It was very peaceful and quiet - just what we were looking for. I rated the accuracy of online listing 3 stars only because the pictures shown are not the actual cabin we received. There are two cabins on the property and the one we stayed in was next door to the one listed in the pictures. Smaller cabin, but very quaint, clean and comfortable. Interior looked very similar to the one in the pictures. We enjoyed our stay very much! Very easy drive to Cullman which is a very nice town. Great shopping and good places to eat for lunch and dinner.

Nice little place . Pictures are different than the actual cabin . No signs and gps stops you at 2 driveways before the one you need to go down . But over all really nice place neighbors not so friendly but everyone keeps to their selves nice quite n piece full getaway

We loved the cabin. It was cozy. Quiet neighborhood. No one bother us. Tara was amazing. If I had a question she answered it quick. The only thing is we wish it had another sofa/ recliner for more room to sit. Will definitely be back to this cabin. We are hoping to make it a yearly thing.

We didn't get to spend alot of time at the cabin, but it was just what we needed.

We take long weekend trips usually 2 times a year. This was our first time at this spot. First, the cabin is cute but there were things that i would like to let future people know who will be staying. First of all, there is not a street number for the driveway, so we had to just figure that out after a neighbor stopped and told us this was the right place. The driveway is extremely steep if you’re hauling things. We were greeted by a scorpion when we arrived (I know it is the woods) but that was creepy. The cabin says it sleeps 6 but only had 4 towels and 4 wash clothes and no washer and dryer to wash those to be able to reuse. We were told to bring toiletries and did but thought if there were only 4 towels and 4 wash clothes, there should at least be a washer and dryer. Oh well, we went and bought some washcloths. The first night we were awakened by a large centipede chewing on some foam in the wall crack. . As we went to kill it, he went into the wall quickly never to be seen again, thank goodness. . The next morning, I woke up with what looked like a spider leg on my shirt. Like I said, I know it is the woods, I live in the woods, but pest control might be of help. The walk to the dock is steep especially coming back up. The fishing was not good until the last night we were there and then it was slim. I was told that the bottom cabin “B” was not rented out and was being remodeled. But to our surprise, the owners showed up the last night we were there to stay the night below us. . That made us very uncomfortable and we felt it was a rude thing for owners to do while renting a cabin above. We almost left a night early, but got blocked in by the owners friends who were visiting for the 4th, so we couldn’t leave. We will more than likely not be staying in this cabin again. Hopefully the things I have mentioned can be addressed and taken care of.

The stay was nice and quite. The lake was beautiful. No luck with fishing.

My wife and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary at the cabin. We just wanted a peaceful relaxing time. It was that and more! Wonderful view of the lake, plus it has its own swimming and fishing pier, cabin was very clean and well kept and Tara is a pleasure to deal with. If you are looking for a nice, relaxing place to spend a few days, I don't think you will find anything better!

Met with our Jeep group to trail at Stony Lonesome. Nice to come back to quiet and a pretty view at the end of the day. Teenage son enjoyed swimming every evening. Cabin was convenient to the OHV park, stores and restaurants. When in the area, would stay again

Great experience. Clean, comfortable property. Some confusion at the end as far as communication about checkout process, but other than that, everything was perfect. We had a wonderful time.

I always evaluate my experiences during vacation when I leave a place... if my foot is dragging going back home then I know I had a great time! This was no exception- beautiful weekend and wonderful view of the lake. My husband and I will be back!
