If you enjoy flavourful, large portions and a variety of food options this is your place. The staff was warm and friendly, the owner was on site most days and was pleasantly welcoming! I booked this trip for a celebration of a personal journey and it exceeded my expectations and provided me with a perfect mix of adventure and relaxation

Emplacement au bord de la plage, cadre idyllique, Samara à environ 10 min à pied, le restaurant de l’hôtel est top et bien mieux que ce que nous avons pu tester sur Samara.

Souvenir Kaffebecher im Hotel etwas überteuert für die Qualität. Zum Teil schmutzig und aufweisen von Rost am Becher Rand. Es könnten mehr frische Früchte angeboten werden.

Super Lage, sehr schöne Aussicht, war die beste Unterkunft auf unserer 3 wöchigen Reise. Wären gerne noch geblieben. Essen und Frühstück war auch ausgezeichnet.

Friendly and welcoming staff, including one of the hotel's owners, our room was small but recently renovated. The hotel's location is hard to beat, a bit off the village hence very calm but a 10 min walk along the beach if you fancy "downtown" Samara. The beach bar is great, feet in the sand while you sip your drink or beer. Very good restaurant too. In a nutshell, highly recommended.

The only thing we would suggest improving on is having Plant based milk - either Soya or Oat available and also more vegan options on the menu such as Scambled Tofu for breakfast and other vegan options available as standard. Whilst the chef made us nice vegan options, it would be really nice to have them available on the menu as standard, so it doesn't feel that we are inconveniencing the chef to make something to suit.

We loved the location and the staff. Big shout out to Claudia, Esteban, Jose and doggy Perlas/Bella momma forgot her name so sorry. They were just fantastic. Went to bed and woke to the sounds of the waves and birds. Heard a howler monkey from time/time. My sister-in-law had a visit from a little Monkey family there first day. The place was very clean, food/drinks were great and close enough to town to walk. Had the pleasure to meet/speak with Victoria the owner. Highly recommend this cute hotel! Would definitely stay here again.

La ubicación es excelente, justo al frente está la hermosa playa de Sámara. El desayuno es abundante y delicioso. Es PET friendly.

Eine wundervolle Unterkunft! Traumhaft gelegen am Rande von Samara direkt am Strand mit diversen gemütlichen Liegemöglichkeiten. Im Restaurant zum Strand hin herrscht eine total entspannte Atmosphäre und das Essen ist fantastisch.

Every detail was well thought out. Amazing staff made us feel at home from check in until check out. Fabulous food. Great drinks. Beautiful room. I can’t say enough. If your looking to enjoy the beach and avoid the tourist traps, you just found it.

The location was incredible. There's nothing I I've more than getting out of bed in the morning and walking 200 yards to the beach, and right into the water. The staff was friendly and wonderful to get to know over the week we were there, and they were personable and completely accommodating. Also! We didn't know the food was going to be so delicious and beautifully prepared! We ate almost every meal at the restaurant on site.

There is only one suggestion I could make, which is maybe mattress toppers for the beds? They were pretty firm. But really, that's the only thing.

The location is amazing! It is right on the beach and only a short walk along the beach downtown. The rooms are large and clean and we did not hear our neighbours at all. They have very friendly staff and a nice restaurant downstairs that is pretty much open all day. They also have some nice beach chairs and loungers out front in the sand where you can have a drink or your breakfast. You can swim right out front of the hotel, although most people swim closer to downtown.

We had a couple cockroaches in our room but they did not bother us and also to be expected in Costa Rica!

the room is super small, low roof, no tv nor fridge. the window is next to the hallway where everyone walks… too simple.

I stayed at Bahia for 7 nights and had a wonderful time. The staff was unbelievably kind and helpful. It's a stunning location and you see many other visitors stop by the restaurant/seating area just because of its location. Additionally, I worked for 4 days during my stay from the main dining/bar area. All of the rooms have good wifi but the wifi is strongest near the bar. Before traveling to Bahia I was a little concerned about my ability to work but everything worked out wonderfully. The wifi was strong and reliable through out the day, as I worked from 11am-7pm. The hotel is walking distance to a bunch of great bars and restaurants right on the beach.

This isn't as much what I "didn't like," but if you are staying at Bahia for multiple nights I recommend some sort of noise machine or earplugs. The wildlife can be quite loud and you hear a fair amount at night.

This small hotel is a little gem of paradise. It is located in a quiet area of Playa Samara and is right on the beach. It is only a short walk down the beach to the town. The food is excellent and the staff was very friendly and personal. They give attention to keeping the place clean and safe.
