The couple running Shenamae are lovely. As a solo traveller this made all the difference for me. They are helpful, funny and chatty. I sat chatting to them on a many occasions. also perfect location, right next to the beach.

No hot water

Excellent location, few minutes walk to the beach, to restaurants and to the bus terminal to El Nido/P.Princesa. This is a family business, so you will find the owner as well as their daughter/son extremely willing to help with your stay, booking excursions or tickets as well as offer a cup of tea or coffe at early morning. They also offer a free water refill available h24 at their main desk. My room was quiet big to be a "single budget room" and was definitely a huge saving for me!

WiFi really weak, both from my room as well as the communal areas (local network connection was fine, however had to use my mobile network instead of the WiFi). The room was given without toilet paper or without any soaps, not even for hands. Plenty of small shops nearby but they all selling overpriced items, so get with you all you need before arrive here! Is also annoying having the mirror fixed n another wall and not on top of the sink, this is a nightmare to trim the beard or for any face care. Overall these are minus details to me, I would probably book again this hotel in future.

The room was not ready when I got there at 5pm, I had to wait for it to be cleaned. After telling me I could stay until 1pm for check out, I was asked to leave at 12:30... not cool. Room and bathroom are small, very basic and a bit crumbling, no hot water; bed very hard (definitely not a double bed despite being described as one), air con defeaningly loud, toilet flushed by pulling a string, internet cut at night - but anyway you can't get internet in the room, so...

the owner is extremely nice and helpful. She helped us with all the tours and routes. Great location. Definitely good value for money.

I stayed at Shenamae Pension for four days. What a wonderful place. I was greeted by the owners with warmth and kindness and this continued throughout my stay. I stayed as a solo traveler and my room was the perfect size and space for what I needed. Very clean and comfortable. Excellent location, just a minute walk to the beach. Restaurants, bakery and mini-grocery store are nearby. Would definitely recommend and would certainly stay here again.

It was very close to everything you want to do. Very close to the beach. Small modest room but very clean. And a lovely family.

Great location, 2 minutes to the beach, 2 minutes to the shop, 3 minutes to a restaurant with good food. Rooms spacious and clean, very nice owner and nice family. A good place to relax and book attractions

It’s accessible to everything. Near the beach and establishments. The owner and her family is really helpful and very nice! Will accommodate you on everything you need and will help you! Definitely worth the stay!
