We brought our grown children and spouses for a week along with our grand dog and grandson. It was a wonderful location! Would have been great if the community pool was within walking distance but overall a great house.

We loved our stay in this house and would definitely stay again. Loved the deck and fenced in yard, so nice. We were provided lots of towels, which was so nice. The house had everything we needed!

The house was just steps from the beach and a quick drive to our favorite ramp and a central location to shops both north and south. The house was clean, reasonably accessible, and pet-friendly. Our family loved the back deck and 3 season porch and our pup loved the fenced in backyard!

This was the first time we visited the Outer Banks. The house we stayed at added to the vibe of older but simpler times with the décor and furniture. The house was spotless and smelled fresh when we walked into the house for the first time. It was fully stocked with utensils, cookware, paper products, towels and a great selection of board games/puzzles. We would definitely stay here again.

Great stay except for internet. Finally got it working the day before we left which means we could do a little work and watch tv. Very well equipped. Floors are a little soft in places but no worries. Plenty of parking under house.

As always, a wonderful stay in this house. Perfect location, very clean and comfortable. We have stayed here 7 or 8 times and it never disappoints! See you again in May!

nice fall trip to say goodbye to the beach for the season. I will definetly try and book this home for the spring season. Fenced in yard was a plus and the home was nice and cozy.

First off the road and driveway was flooded then when we finally were able to get in with the door code the house was filthy, dog hair everywhere. I went to the closet thinking I would just run the sweeper and mop but both were full of dog hair. Went to the closest store and bounght a swiffer mop and did the best I could until they could send out someone to clean on Monday. They came and did a decent job but took my new swifter I bought and left the pads for it. Crazy, but we ended up leaving early due to the flooding happening again on the road a few days later and we were just over it. Will be our last time to the island sad that it was not a good experience.

It was a great spot to go on vacation we weren't that far from the beach and we weren't that far from grocery stores and food and some of the outlets. We enjoyed being there on vacation it was very comfortable environment and I will definitely go back

The house itself was pretty good. The location in Buxton was great and it was right next to the beach. The main downsides were that the appliances were quite dated and there was a slight smell in the porch/living room. The biggest problem we ran into was that the electronic door lock would only unlock if you pulled on the door. Not a big deal if you know about it, but it wasn't communicated so we were locked out of the house for some time before we figured it out. I called vacasa support and they sent out a technician but it took them 2 hours to arrive.

The location was wonderful, contact with the property management was good, although it's not directly with an owner. Initially the property looked cleaned, but after walking around you notice many things that house keeping could do better. The smell in the house is awful. They have one of those ozone odor eliminator, but that does not work. Also, there were many soft spots throughout the flooring of the house, a board loose on the side walking up the steps, and the screen was tore on one of the back.doors. For the price you just naturally expect a house that is being well maintained.

The stairs were a bit too much for our 13yo dog and 84 yo father but thats my fault for not thinking.

We absolutely love our vacations to the OBX! Buxton was a great spot, since we love fishing at the point, also close to shopping. There was a couple minor things that needed attention, but Outer beaches reality was quick to respond and check in with us. Overall a wonderful vacation 😊

The Buxton Beach is very small and during high tide the water is close to the homes that are right on the beach. We drove onto the beaches elsewhere to go to the beach, which was fun! Good view of ocean, sunset, and trees behind the house. Seemed more secluded on the back side, even though there are houses on each side. The partial boardwalk to the beach was a plus. Handsoap was provided for some of the sinks/basins, and some toilet paper to get us started. New kitchen scrubbie, dishwashing liquid, and dishwasher and washer detergents were provided too. We have been coming to the Outer Banks for 10 years, and every year we stay at a different house and location. We all agree we have found our forever home! We already rented it for next year!
