This was the cleanest, most thoughtful Vrbo we’ve ever rented! The owner has thought of everything- from toiletries to luxurious towels to fixings for s’mores! Updated and beautifully decorated. Lovely backyard. Minutes from the historic downtown and waterfront park. The SC park pass was a wonderful addition and we enjoyed our time at Hunting State Park. Everything about the house was perfect!

Everything was very clean. Nice private backyard. We would stay here again if in the area.

Water pressure in showers was reduced to much, and living room futniture was very uncomforable

Your house is lovely, modern, and clean. My family and I loved the accommodations. The thoughtfulness and details just made our stay so relaxing. It was nice to see how everything was geared towards comfort. We really appreciated the extras from the beach and park passes to the s’mores fixings. The back yard was large and well kept, and we loved the fire pit. Overall a great experience.

We were all able to stay together to attend our grandchildren's baptism and grandson's birthday.

Moved away from Beaufort in May, came back for some work & to visit friends. Felt right at home, amazing back yard, cutest house! My dog & I enjoyed the park pass that was included and went to Hunting Island (always nicer in the cooler months…less bugs). Neighborhood felt safe, and we enjoyed many runs down to the boat landing at Pigeon Point during our stay.

This house was perfect for our stay for our Graduating Marine! Everything is clean, very welcoming and cozy, and the backyard is STUNNING!!

Very clean. Everything you need, if you need it. Owner was very responsive. We stayed here the week of our Marine’s graduation. Easy drive (about 20 minutes) to Parris Island.

What a cute place to stay. Very clean, decorated adorably and you've thought of everything including supplies for s'mores. I'd highly recommend and we will be back. Close to town although we drove every time.

We were in town for our son’s Graduation from Boot Camp. The house was extremely clean. Everyone loved the mattresses so much that we all came home wanting to purchase them for our homes. Wish we could have used the beautiful backyard but we were in town when the hurricane came through. Would definitely stay again!!!

This home was great. Perfect for our family of 4. We were in Beaufort for a family Marine graduation @ Parris Island and the location was perfect. 20-25 min drive to MCRD which made the early mornings easy. The home was clean and well stocked. Everything you need and more. We added a day for vacation and went to Huntington Island beach. The home had a park pass and all beach accessories we needed( umbrella, beach chairs , towels etc…) highly recommend this home

We absolutely loved the house and everything Beaufort had to offer! The house is in a perfect location to be close enough for easy access to downtown and food options, but away enough from downtown so you don’t have to worry about traffic. Definitely planning to return in the future!

The property was in a very Nice neighborhood and well maintained. It was located conveniently to the major road and local attractions. The only possible change would be sleeper couch which was really uncomfortable. The swag bag and island pass was a very nice touch.

The home was very neat and orderly. All amenities were readily available. Huge private yard with firepit. Owner even made the place available a little earlier. Thank you. Very quiet and comfortable. Would not hesitate to stay again when in the area.

Wonderful family vacation. The house is well stocked, very clean, and close to downtown. We loved using the Hunting Island beach pass. We had an issue with the hot water when we arrived but John was great to work with and had it fixed as soon as possible. Will stay with Mermaid Cottages again.

My family came to visit for Memorial Day weekend so we rented this house for the weekend. The rental property offered many items such as bikes, beach chairs, s’mores, a fire pit with wood, and more. We had a great weekend stay. The house was clean and just as advertised. I would recommend this property to others.

It was a great little house, very clean. Fire pit in the backyard sadly it was wet while I was there so I was unable to use it. The only negative I have is that I found the beds to be hard, but that is just an opinion. Very close to downtown Beaufort and comes with a Hunting Island State Park pass. Would stay again

Has a fire pit in the back yard and they left the products to make smores if we wanted the place was very clean and neat I have to say the accommodations and things left for us to use went above and beyond my expectations

We were very impressed with the home. You can tell the owner really cares about their home. They had many extras that were unexpected and made our stay special. We all needed some downtime and this house provided it. We will definitely be back.

We had a pleasurable and amazing stay while we attended my son graduation from Marine corps boot camp. It was a clean well stocked environment!!!

If you aren't a dog person (we are) the dogs barking will drive you crazy. So be aware the dogs from the neighbors will bark. Also the jets from the base will fly over day and night. Bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. The house is great! The yard was great! Just sharing info for others! Thank you for a wonderful home to stay in while we greeted our new Marine.

Well-amenitied home in great location for exploring all that Beaufort has to offer; communication was great, and host was very accommodating and kind.

My sister and I absolutely loved this house!!! We were in town visiting our mother at Beaufort Memorial hospital and this house was close to EVERYTHING!!! And the details and thought put into this house are priceless!! The owners made this feel like home for a few difficult days and we will definitely rent again!! We didn’t want to leave!!!

We stayed at Four Oaks for my son’s Boot Camp graduation from Parris Island. The check-in process was easy and great. Everything was clean and they even had a snack basket for us which was great since got in late at night. Would definitely stay again if ever in that area.

We came for our granddaughter’s graduation from Marine boot camp. It was a very short drive. Lots of stores and restaurants in the area. Neighbors were not an issue, but several have loud barking dogs. Not anything the property owner can do about that. Also, they were not left out all the time, so it was mostly noticeable during the day. The house is the most efficiently stocked place I’ve ever stayed in, fully stocked kitchen; soap, shampoo and container in the bathrooms; washer and dryer with soap and dryer sheets; big back yard with fire pit and a shed with bicycles, chairs, extra propane tank; there were also beach towels in the laundry room and a pass to the park. Check in was easy - the code to the front door was emailed to me the day of arrival. When the battery was low on the front door, we were advised that someone would be coming to replace it, which I appreciated. Overall it was a great stay!

A friend had her wedding in Beaufort and 2 friends and I decided to stay in a house instead of a hotel. Once we came across this cottage, we knew it’d be perfect. It was close to everything including a Saturday shopping stroll along Bay Street. Would recommend for a family or friends trip. While we didn’t take advantage of the park pass or bikes, it’s nice those are available. Connie

We had the pleasure of staying here to see our son graduate from Parris Island boot camp and it had everything we could ask for! Beautiful back yard with fire pit. Highly suggest for anyone coming to graduation or just to hangout!

Perfect little house with every attention to detail. There’s nothing they haven’t thought of. Down to the body wash and qtips. House is clean and very well decorated and functional. Our fav was the backyard. We enjoyed corn hole in the beautiful space and s’mores by the fire. Great way to spend time with our family after celebrating our new Marine!
