The home was beautiful and comfortable. It was so nicely decorated. Kitchen was large and well equipped. Pool was refreshing. Would definately stay here again!

The beds in this home were all incredibly hard. My mother and I both slept on the couch the entire stay. Please invest in good mattresses. This home isn’t a cheap rental and a good nights sleep is essential to having a great vacation.

Many amenities including a popular game room and elevator were appreciated by several in our party. Great view of the lakes, birds, and deer. Nice nature trails very close to our cottage.

Immaculate home, tons of space for large groups, tv's in every bedroom, bathrooms for every bedroom, great game room for entertaining and covered jacuzzi that's fantastic for winter visits!

This house was so homey, we all felt very relaxed and comfortable. There was plenty of space for our family of 9. Beds were very comfortable, bathrooms in each room. Kitchen was very well stocked with all essential supplies and appliances. I was impressed that the owner labeled on every cabinet and drawer with what was in each. Game room was a hit! Pool area and hot tub was great! We had a wonderful stay

The house was beautiful! Every inch of the house had great decor & well taken care of. Although, we had ants in the kitchen & bathrooms. Also one bathroom shower did not drain properly. We contacted Vacasa. Overall, the house was wonderful and we really enjoyed our stay.

We loved that the kitchen was so well appointed. We cooked Thanksgiving dinner for the whole family and had plenty of tableware, plates, glasses and serving dishes! Having two dishwashers was also very helpful! We loved the layout with 2 living spaces also and the pool table and throw-back video game table.

We had a great stay at Fly Away! It is a beautiful home. We loved the well-stocked kitchen and all of the master suites. The pool was a refreshing break each evening. Thank you so much!

Great House!
Although this house is non sound front or ocean front, it was one of the best houses we have ever stayed at in over 30 years of going to Hatteras Island. So well-appointed and comfortable. The layout is perfect. Will definitely stay here again.

My family enjoyed the many different places to gather -- the children played in the game room and used the theatre; the adults loved the living room and the decks. We all liked access to the Sound via the walkway. In addition, the house was well-appointed and well-maintained -- one of the best we`ve ever rented! We all would like to come here again. This hone was everything our family could have dreamed of and more. We have been coming for 25 years and for last 15 years of so have been oceanfront. My children range from 36 to 40 now and with grandchildren this was just the perfect fit for our family. The pool area was spectacular and all the men (and granddaughter) were kayaking and fishing daily. The whole family enjoyed paddle boarding. Every amenity fit the bill for us. Already booked for next year. As I was told when we first booked for this year, I wouldn`t want to leave. And that is exactly what happened. Wonderful vacation for our family.
