This was a spacious open cottage atop a hill. It had a great working kitchen with ample cooking vessels and plenty of dishes. It was very quiet. The wifi was ample for some who had to work from home. The outside deck was huge with lots of places to sit. I liked that the TV was put where is didn't dominate the communal open space. The place was clean and bright. I'd rent it again.

My family of 3 daughters, spouses, and four grandchildren had a wonderful stay at Beaver Run Cabin. We especially appreciated the well-equipped kitchen so we could make many of our own meals. We also liked the quiet, removed from the hustle and bustled.

We had a wonderful family vaca. Great location close to all the areas attractions. The BBQ grill needs to be replaced and there was no gas. We did refill the tank but would not use it due to its terrible condition.

Great time in a beautiful cabin.

The cabin was very clean and nicely renovated. The location was beautiful but be aware that many of the local attractions around here close down for the winter. Even many of the restaurants were closed.

We booked some time ago and we’re happy with the overall experience. The central, but secluded location was much as advertised. Three things would have helped. There was no microwave at all. The TV would not turn on, and the two remotes were the same, and did not work, even with a battery change. My guess is the remote we needed was not present, this was not a factor for the adults, but we could have used it in an evening or two for the kids. The final item is water access to the lake, the issue here was related to no information on what and where. On a side note the first two days were hot. The house had fans, but only the ceiling fans worked. All three box fans did not. We called Maint and he replaced the fans the next day which helped, but the TV he could not help with. I would go here again, the positives far outweigh any of the challenges. !!

Lovely spot in the woods. Feels remote but only 10 minutes to Boothbay Harbor and the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens. Definitely at the top of a big hill but cozy with all the amenities. Would stay there again.

Enjoyed everything the property and town had to offer,,, only down fall was,, and mind you do understand the house is settled in wooded area but many insects and spiders in the cabinets and had to clean the bowls and dishes just because of that but other than that very enjoyable atmosphere and would come back again,,, Thnakyou for everything, Brian Scafidi

If a little rust on basebord heaters (that you really have to make an effort to see) bothers you, maybe a cabin in Maine isn't for you. I would recommend checking the thermostat settings, somebody apparently thought it funny to set the schedule to go to 90 at 11PM. Not a fun way to wake up. Would absolutely stay here again.

The information provided about access to this property was helpful. We did experience some problems and we have some recommendations too. First, the door lock failed and we called for support. After a 30 minute wait, we heard from Joe who directed us to the keys. The keys worked and then Sarah arrived to replace the lock. Both were friendly and professional. We used the keys for the remainder of our stay. Second, the Wifi required frequent reboots but when working, it worked well. We missed having a TV in the LR (hoped to watch movies together) and the TV area on the 2nd floor lacked furniture. The appliances worked well and the furniture was comfortable. Recommendations: do something about the rusted radiators, clean the ceiling lamps and upper windows next to the chimney, add a switch to the lamp near the sliding doors in the MBR, include a description of the coffee maker type in your listing, make sure linens are in good condition.

Home was as described in the listing. Clean and well stocked. We had one small issue and the property manager, Joe, was on it immediately, even though it was near midnight on a holiday weekend. I have never seen service like this! Would recommend to others.

HOWEVER, we had difficulty accessing the entry code (to the point of a rep coming to "fix" it; never totally repaired), no hot water and no heat on the first level which included master bedroom & bath. We were told that the owner could not/would not make repairs, so we followed advice of a rep to change location. The rep was very helpful, as were all of the reps from TurnKey, but the amount of time spent moving, waiting for responses, etc. took a LOT of time away from our vacation. Also, the property we moved to - was far inferior to this one, although the rep said it was better but would not cost us more. The "better" had to do with the location (from East Boothbay to Boothbay Harbor). We went from bright, airy and clean to old, dark, somewhat dirty and depressing. (charm to some but YUCK to us!) TurnKey rep was kind but clearly unaware of the property, since he was located in Texas and the property was in Maine (& description on website is better than the reality) All in all - our experience, needless to say, was not positive. I had rented many Airbnbs and was sadly embarrassed for my friends after praising my past experiences & this one was far from positive.

Great house in a great location. Very family friendly.

This property is perfect for a getaway from the hustle and bustle of town. The house sits on a hill overlooking woods and the water. There is one house about 200-300 feet away but otherwise it is a private location. The deck is great for afternoon and evening reflections. The interior is a beautiful finished log cabin. We had a party of 12 and it was very comfortable. We would definitely consider renting here again...A+++
