Our group of four siblings, age 60-75, with two spouses, enjoyed 5 days in this lovely home. We especially enjoyed the proximity to the beach and loved watching the tides come and go in the tidal creek. If we had one suggestion, it would be to upgrade the bath towels. They were not up to the standard for this lovely house.

Our extended family really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful, clean, and spacious home. The house is a quick walk to the beach, and we enjoyed the large kitchen and living area with plenty of seating as well as the front and back decks. The marsh provided lovely views. The rental company was responsive. We recommend this property.

Enjoyed our stay at Crooked Palm! A lot of thought has gone into the layout of the house. Lots of space for our multigenerational family to gather together - but also space to be able to "get away". Kitchen has many pots, pans, utensils. (But bring your own condiments!) The pool was a big hit. Beach just a short walk. Renting a golf cart was good idea - quick runs for groceries or to the Park. Everyone in our group wants to return next year!

This house is the perfect setting for a large group. It’s a short walk to the beach, has a nice ocean view and a gorgeous pool. Could use another refrigerator. We’ve vacationed on Oak Island for years and The Crooked Palm is our favorite house by far.

The Crooked Palm was a wonderful home for our annual family vacation. The view and quick walk to the beach was perfect. We used the pool every day and appreciated the mid week cleaning. Great kitchen, king beds a plus. From 2 to 62 we had a fabulous time:)

We absolutely loved this house. It is spacious and beautifully decorated. We selected this property because of the private pool, the location to the beach, and the fact that all bedrooms have an en suite bath. We would definitely recommend this property!

Though it poured and was cold all Mem Day Weekend in Oak Island while we were there, we had a really nice time in the house and exploring the area. The house was very clean, kitchen was updated with lots of space & had enough pots/pans to cook with. There are extra blankets in the closets which was nice too!
There are no essentials provided for the kitchen (ie: spices, PAM, oil, salt/pepper, etc. so make sure to bring that). The description also says 7 beach chairs or something but there are only a few actual beach chairs, all the others are camping chairs. There is a huge storage room with kayaks, corn hole, etc.- stuff we couldn't use b/c of the weather, but a nice option.
The pool was great and the location to the beach access was so close. We'll try and rent this house again next year and pray for some sun! Owners checked in and were super responsive!!!

We stayed here with grandma & grandpa and 3 family’s with kids ranging from 1-14 years old. The pool was perfect with a short walk to a beautiful beach. The home was clean and comfortable!
