The location was great…right between downtown Traverse City and Sleeping Bear Dunes park! We spent time at both, and enjoyed our stay. The home was very quiet, and nicely appointed. Thanks for a great stay!

Stay was awesome. The house was beautiful and well kept. There was a plumbing issue that just happened. The owner was easily contacted and took care of the issue immediately. She was more than kind and made sure we were satisfied with the repair. Very positive stay. 10 stars. I would recommend this place as a perfect spot between Traverse City and Sleeping Bear Dune

This rental satisfied all our needs from being tastefully decorated to being centrally located to virtually all the favorite vacation spots this area has to offer. Situated in a quiet neighborhood, this home has everything you need for a comfortable stay in beautiful northern Michigan!

We planned a long weekend in the Traverse City are. Lisa's home was a perfect location for the activities we wanted to do. spent a day at Sleeping Bear Dunes and visited many coastal towns. Also spent time in Traverse City at the many breweries and the great restaurants.

What a wonderful location. We were able to explore both sides of the Leelanau Pennisula and still play 9 holes of golf in Northport during the day before returning to a pleasant evening on the nicely lit and roomy outside deck in the evening. A short drive allowed us to enjoy visiting 5 of the 11 fine wineries on Mission Pennisula followed by dinner in Traverse City that evening. The outdoor firepit finished off a wonderful day with hot dogs over an open fire. The place itself was wonderful. The furniture was in excellent shape and up to date. Kitchen was very well equipped and clean as were all 3 bedrooms and the 2 bathrooms. One of the easiest check-ins and check-outs I have ever used. Lisa herself was very prompt in responding to the only question I had prior to our visit there. I have visited the Traverse City 4 times prior to this stay, and this was by far the nicest. I will definitely book here on our next trip to the area.

What a magical place this was - absolutely adorable, well equipped and in an utterly lovely and quiet location. We stayed here because we needed a place nearby to Frankfort where our daughter was competing in an Ironman. We were joined by my brother and his wife - it made for a special family occasion. Lisa was a helpful and highly responsive host.

Property was very clean, nice beautiful safe area not too far from everything we wanted. House was well stocked with everything we needed from the kitchen to the bathrooms, nice stuff too, not just cheap towels and dishes. Lisa was great to work with. Would definitely stay here again

Location was great. Other family members stayed at Indigo Bluffs Campground and us out of staters rented the house. It was a perfect location. House was clean and well stocked. Very nice that shampoo and soaps were available in the showers. Lovely back deck with seating for morning coffee. Fire pit steps from the house as well. Definitely would stay again.

Property was in a great location, layout suited our needs perfectly. Well appointed and nice backyard. Floors could use a better cleaning also a faint smell of cigarette smoke which permeated while the property was closed up during the day. Would stay again!

The rental was as advertised. Check in and out was easy. Convenient to TC, Sleeping Bear Dunes and Leland. Owner response was quick when we had questions. Would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our long weekend here! The house was very clean and provided all the essentials our family needed. It was sort of in the middle of traverse (about 15 min to downtown) and about 20-25 minutes to most beach areas. The back deck area could use a little TLC…but the fire pit was a nice touch. Some interior lights flickered throughout our stay so it would be helpful to replace those.

My hubby, 12-year-old son, and family friend thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The setting was lovely and well situated to get to downtown Traverse City and Sleeping Bear Dunes. We hope to return.

Our stay was fabulous. The property was perfect for 5 adults with 3 bedrooms/2 bathrooms. Great deck area and place to have a fire at night. Kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials. Would stay again.

Cute house and had everything we needed for our stay! The house was a distance from the town but it was a nice quiet street. Echoing previous reviews with the bed in the Master being too high and the floors // the one bedroom weren’t as cleaned as we hoped! Overall it was a breeze working with the host and checkout cleaning was the easiest I’ve had staying in an VRBO yet.

Everything was wonderful. Super close to downtown. Location is perfect. The house is clean and comfortable and up to date. Lisa was a wonderful host and responded to everything I asked almost instantly. I will be back! It was perfect!

I would recommend this place to anyone coming up to stay for the weekend. It’s very clean and there’s lot of room! We stayed up late on the back deck and it was very relaxing, and the neighborhood is quiet and inviting. I just love the decor too! It truly felt like home and not just a vrbo. Lisa was also very kind and responsive to my messages when we first arrived. I had some difficulty with getting the code to work, and she was able to get us in right away. Thanks for everything Lisa!

We greatly enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. It was centrally located to all the places we wanted to visit - Traverse City, Glen Arbor, Frankfort, Leland, Suttons Bay, Charlevoix. Most places were only a 20 minute drive away. The home is located in a quiet neighborhood, is comfortable and well appointed. The master bedroom bed is VERY high, so bring a step stool if shorter than 5'4" (luckily, I looked at the photos first and packed one)! We were too busy exploring to use the deck or fire pit area, but appreciated they were there for us. Lisa was a fabulous host and very responsive to all of our questions before and during our stay. She even went out of her way to help from afar when the coffee maker stopped functioning. We highly recommend renting this home if you want a comfortable "home base" for exploring the area and don't mind that dining and attractions aren't in the immediate vicinity.

Great getaway
The property was very nice. Wooded lot on a quiet street. Central to lots of area attractions and dining options. Plenty of kitchen supplies for cooking and grilling if not dining out. The furniture and beds were all very comfortable. My wife who is only 5' 6" had a little trouble getting into the master bed because of the height, but not a big problem. The floor could have used a good mop. It was swept but seemed a little dirty. All in all a great vacation and very nice property. Would likely stay again.

Relaxing Stay!
This property was exactly as advertised. Great communication with owner. We stayed for two weeks and were able to see the dunes, bike, walk, go to wineries and chill on the deck. Highly recommend!

Location is everything!
We loved our stay here. The location was perfect to downtown TC and heading up the peninsula. The cabin itself was exactly as described. Very clean with everything we needed. We hope to have the opportunity to stay here again and would highly recommend!!

Convenient Traverse City Cidery and Winery Location
Lisa is a Super Host. Beautiful home and wonderful location close enough to Traverse City, yet convenient to Sleeping Bear Dunes, Old Mission Peninsula wineries and the Leelanau Peninsula cideries. We would definitely stay here again when we're in the area.

Being a frequent business traveler, my expectations are quite basic - clean, quiet, safe. The house is well located and very comfortable and cute. Fun little walking trail to the lake (pond). It is quiet and safe. It was surfaced cleaned. The bathrooms were not clean, specifically toilets. Sheets were stained. The large TV remote slipped into the couch cushions, which really needs attention. I don't want these comments to takeaway from the overall warm and welcoming feel of the home. My goal with the one negative is that the comments will be shared with the cleaning team.
