Perfect location for attending a wedding at the Castle at Skylands. Because the wedding was an evening event I didn’t want to drive home in case of bad weather. This place fit the bill. We only fixed breakfast . The microwave didn’t work but we didn’t need it. One recommendation change the lockbox key to electronic . It rained hard that night . There was a lot of standing water in the yard.

Dirty, filthy house. This house isnt fit to rent. Cobwebs and spiders and crickets found in house. Towels, washcloths were thin and used and should be replaced. Appliances were all dirty and unuseable. Outdoor porch and deck furniture was covered in mold and mildew....dust and dirt covered the hardwood floors and in corners behind the door..kitchen utensils had leftovers food on them....wanted to cook our meals and eat in but that wasn't possible. Window covering was lacking, did not have full coverage. Basement wasn't fully finished so that bedroom was creepy and guest refused to sleep in basement. Animal dander so bad, one guest had to seek medication...

We stayed for a family wedding. It was absolutely perfect. Comfortable and relaxing. Highly recommended!

Overall was a great stay

We stayed here to attend a family funeral. So while it was a quiet time for us, this home provided all the creature comforts and made our stay so restful and wonderful during a stressful time.

The property was exactly as it was described! Hosted 4-6 adults and a few kids for a magical family weekend. Despite that it rained from start to finish and we couldn’t use deck or fire pit, it was still great! Quiet and cozy! Like other reviews, fridge condiments and spices were a plus.

Nicely appointed house, especially the kitchen. Easy to find and entry was simple. Other than preparing dinner and eating inside, we spent the rest of the time around the fire pit talking, laughing, and listening to music. We were a group of 4 older women and Harry the dirty dog. We had a lovely time.

The property was just as listed. The house was warm and welcoming upon arrival. There were staples already in the home for a quick bite or cup of coffee. Check out instructions were simple. We enjoyed the outdoor spaces and the serenity of the area.
