Our unit was spacious, clean and a great view of the mountains. The outdoor patio was amazing! To our surprised, it wrapped around the corner. The unit was supplied with all the basics and the overall property was beautiful....well kept and clean. We loved the various options of pools and easy access to the beach. The walking path was also a plus to visit other restaurants or simply go for a walk/run. The fitness center is on the smaller side and would get busy in the mornings, but overall it did the job. The onsite contact checked in with us at the beginning and during the week which is nice. The host also ensured we had everything we needed throughout the week. The only (minor) negative is the unit coffee machine was not working properly so we had to get our morning joe from the first floor market. Overall.....What a great experience!!

We loved the area we were in, the private beach access was so nice and just a short walk from the Condo. The fact the Condo had all kinds of beach supplies for us to use was a great bonus. Communication was easy and friendly. We really enjoyed the huge Lanai and sat out there everyday enjoying the sunshine and view. Would recommend this place and would love to go again. We talked to the owner and they recommended things to do and places to eat and we loved all the things they recommended. Thanks for an amazing stay in a beautiful location.

We feel so blessed to have gotten to stay in this beautiful condo for 10 days! We didn't want to leave! Everything about it was perfect! Even better than the pictures! The communication with the owners and property manager were above and beyond! We hope we can visit again!

We had a really nice seamless stay at this condo! Everything we needed was there for us and we felt comfortable and able to relax right away. The view from the unit was stunning! The humongous balcony overlooks a large open grass field with the beautiful Maui mountains as its backdrop. And we saw a handful of rainbows! We'd definitely stay there again!

This condo is laid out beautifully with furnishings and decor to match. Very clean with all the amenities you could look for. Location looks at the beautiful West Maui mountains. It’s rare for this complex Honua Kai to not be looking into other peoples windows. Really enjoyed the location and privacy. Management was terrific. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this unit again.

Such a great property. It isn’t ocean facing but has a peak a boo view. We enjoyed our stay tremendously.

Really nice property and facilities. Rooms were large and comfortable. King size beds were big enough even for my 6’7” friend and his wife. Lanai was a very nice amenity that we enjoyed cocktails on before dinner. View was of the mountain side but still very beautiful. A sliver of ocean view but the pool was right on the beach! Duke’s is next door for easy meals. A little spendy but high quality and handy. Overall, we will stay here again.

Beautiful space and setting. The pictures have been described as accurate in other reviews but I don’t think the pictures could capture the space. It was awesome. Host was gracious and attentive. Family friendly. Can’t say enough about it.

Hanua Kai is a great, family-friendly property and this was a great condo. All as listed, convenient check in and out, and a perfect place to stay and explore the west side of Maui.

Our week in 218 at Honua Kai was incredibly peaceful! The property manager, Monty, was incredibly helpful via text and checked in throughout the week. The condo is beautiful, and the lanai doubles your space! 218 has a plethora of beach accessories to use. The kitchen is fully equipt to cook as much (or little) as you want. The resort itself has everything you could possibly want or need. Really, the condo and location are about as perfect as you can get! When we return to Maui, we definitely connect with Maryam and Amir!

We love the honua kai and the amazing location on kanaapali beach. The many pools are awesome, there are several hot tubs and a waterslide. Great snorkeling just a short walk down the beach. Awesome boardwalk for walking and running. So beautiful!!! The unit is great with a huge deck and everything you need for cooking. Lots of fun extras in the hall closet for snorkeling and fun at the beach. Comfortable beds, great a/c plus ceiling fans. Nice dining table. Hanua Kai is paradise!

This condo gave our family more than we expected. We knew it was good-sized, but we ended up hosting other family staying elsewhere in the Honua Kai for lunches and dinners, and the space proved to be comfortable for all, both old and young. Was so nice to have a family gathering place - we loved our time at the Honua Kai!

We’ve been to the Honua Kai many times. This unit was my favourite by far. Quiet, updated and a huge balcony.

Super easy check-in and check-out with a few communications via text with the manager. This condo is one-of-a-kind with the only corner balcony we could see on our side of the building. We enjoyed having the lanai doors open with a view of the volcano and big sky. Everything was comfortable and very clean. It was nice to be able to make food and have a communal space to relax as opposed to a hotel room. The pools of the resort were great and enjoyed by us and our kids ages 10 and 8. Resort is also across the street from a grocery store, pizza place, Slappy Cakes (great breakfast) and coffee. Would definitely return to this condo again!

Just spent a week at Honua Kai Konea 218 and it was very comfortable and clean, beautifully furnished and appointed (except for the puzzling lack of a garbage disposal), and the incredibly large wrap-around deck was a major bonus. Honua Kai is a wonderful place to stay with many and varied options, and this unit was just perfect. It has a beautiful property view, and even though it’s a non-ocean-facing unit, it still gives all the wonder of Maui, and the convenience of the many pools and Duke’s on the property is just fantastic!

218 Konea is a lovely, oversized, well equipped, corner unit oasis for having a great vacation. It is extremely quiet, overlooks a burbling pond, and the deck is ridiculously large. The owners provide nice linens, the appliances are all new - you will even find snorkel equipment, boogie boards, and beach umbrellas in the unit Honua Kai grounds are well maintained and well located. I cannot recommend this property enough.

We had such a wonderful stay at Honua Kai 218 that we are hoping to make our way back here again soon. And HOPING to get the same exact unit. The property owners are communicative and the property manager was so helpful and responsive. We had a few minor issues that taken care of so promptly that we were very impressed. The unit itself is so spacious, clean, well stocked and had everything we needed to cook meals in the condo rather than eating out every meal. I adored the design of the condo and the theme as monsteras are my favorite plants. Everyone at the resort was also very friendly. We were honestly so sad to leave and wished we had planned for a longer vacation. Thank you for sharing your wonderful condo!

We rented this condo for a celebration of my Mom’s 80th Birthday and my Dad’s retirement. It was so comfortable and felt like home. My Dad kept saying he wanted to keep contact info because it was so perfect and he wanted to come back. There was plenty of space. The waterfall outside of the balcony was so peaceful and we loved opening the doors to make the outside and inside feel as one. The Honua Kai is a wonderful resort with beautiful pools and beaches. I snorkeled two days at the reef right on our beach. I also saw a pod of dolphin passing by jumping and playing as I just sat on the beach. The condo was equipped with beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers and snorkel gear! Next to the resort was a parking lot with all sorts of cool food trucks for take out and we were close enough to Lahaina but not too much into the crowds. Also, the resort offered complimentary valet parking, which was perfect for my Mom who has mobility issues. All you had to do was tip. I would definitely stay here again!!!

Better than advertised! We had access to everything we could possibly need. And the property manager was extremely responsive.

Honestly, I made a mistake. I thought I was booking at another location; however, upon arrival, I was immediately struck by how the pictures on VRBO did not do the property Justice. Spacious, clean, stocked, and beautiful. So great. Owner is extremely responsive and nice. Would stay again if available when we come back. 5/5

Absolutely a beautiful Hawaii vacation. Clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the big deck , soft linens and easy access to everything. Fine dining or food trucks near. The unit is spacious with a oversized bathrooms, full kitchen with everything you need . We will definitely rent here again.
