This condo was beautiful! Very clean and in a perfect location. The hosts were incredibly generous and had great communication. 10/10

This property is a gem! Meticulously clean and very cozy. We enjoyed the gas fireplace and the smart tv. The house was beautifully decorated with a wonderful Vermont feel. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. We appreciated the many extras and special touches. We felt very relaxed and pampered. The owners’ communication was excellent and very friendly. The year round hot tub did not appear to be open, as it was covered. That was not a big deal for us. We highly recommend this property and would not hesitate to stay again.

The property was awesome! Some really nice special touches that are not always included at other properties: welcome basket with snacks; bathroom toiletries(shampoo, bodywash, body lotion, conditioner). Coffee !!! Great location! Large space , comfy beds and pillows. We will definitely stay here again. This is the nicest property we have stayed at on stratton!!

The condo is very new, large, tastefully decorated and constructed with quality materials. Plenty of room for a family ski trip. I was there to golf Stratton, but found Equinox (in Manchester) the better course. This is a very nice condo, well maintained, and spacious. The owners made some nice touches and made us feel welcome.

I booked a 3 night stay of season to accommodate a school event for my daughter. Off season nothing is open on the resort (which I knew) so it was very quiet! The location is great and would have been an easy walk to the mountain base. The property was as described- very clean. There were lot of little extras like laundry detergent, bathroom toiletries, basic kitchen supplies like cooking oil, k cups salt and pepper etc. we had a little snafu with check in and keys were not available but we easily straightened it out and David was very responsive to messages. I would rent this unit again. One thing to know the pool and hot tub are under construction- we hadn’t planned to use but I would have been disappointed if I was. It is off season and I’m guessing they are doing maintenance before the summer season.

The condo is very nice, clean, and welcoming. 1st floor location was ideal for our kids who enjoyed being in the open space by the pond and in the pool and hot tubs Easy walk to the village for skiing/dining.

We loved our Stay at Rising Bear. Place was even better than described. Location is great and owners could not have been more accommodating. Look forward to returning again

David and Wanda are marvelous hosts, and we had a dream stay at Stratton Mountain. This place includes everything you could possibly want and need. Hoping we get to come back soon.

Excellent, well kept condo and property just across the street from the village. This condo had all the comforts of home. It was very clean, had comfortable furnishings, kitchen and bathrooms were fully stocked, and the location was great! Dave and Wanda are wonderful hosts and really made us feel welcomed!

David is a great host! Responded very quickly, and was very accommodating to our needs/requests. Check-in instructions were super detailed and helpful. The condo was very clean and well stocked. We could not have asked for a better location. Overall a wonderful place; we would stay here again easily!

The hosts communication superb! They thought of everything. We were welcomed warmly and felt home away from home. The main bedroom suite comfy with a large warm and elegant bathroom. Another best is the unit is on the first floor just steps away from the hot tub and pool. Views of the skating pond and outdoor fire pit added to the ambience! Beautifully decorated with plenty of room.

What an awesome spot! The perfect amount of space for our family of four and a great location too. A quick walk to dinner in the village, easy access to the pool and hot tub and a great view of the pond and fountain. Best of all - Dave and Wanda are incredible hosts! We have stayed in many vrbos and this was one of the best thanks to how amazingly welcoming and helpful they are. We will definitely be back!

After putting vacations on hiatus for 2 years because of "you know what", I decided to enjoy a cool, relaxing summer break in the beautiful mountains of Vermont with friends. In the past, I've been to Vermont in the fall for the glorious foliage and I've skied at Stratton many times over the past 25 winter seasons. The Stratton Ski Resort is a luxurious, first class resort with over the top amenities and I always enjoy first class service whenever I visit this area, be it fall or winter. The hosts at this property, however, provide the ultimate, top of the line, experience, to their rental guests. David and Wanda's condo is beautiful - everything looks bright and airy and it is almost like you are stepping into a newly purchased space! The decor is beautifully appropriate, the condo is well appointed and comfortable and they are conveniently located on the ground floor of the complex, just steps from the communal firepit and a few hundred yards from the outdoor pool and hot tub. The space is outfitted with everything that you could ever ask for. David and Wanda are truly the most generous hosts I've ever encountered during any of my stays in Vermont. My friends and I loved absolutely everything about this rental and did not want to leave. I cannot say enough good things about this rental property. You should really rent it yourself and experience "the best of the best" for yourself. It is now #1 on my list. I have never stayed anywhere in Vermont, that is more beautiful or welcoming. After 25 years of rentals, that is saying a mouthful. Congrats to David and Wanda. They are doing everything right and I am so grateful that they shared their "little bit of paradise" with us and we were able to enjoy this over-the-top experience during our mini vacay.

This is a top notch rental property with everything going for it from location to decor, cleanliness, and owner communication. Everything was great.

We absolutely LOVED this location and will be sure to stay here again! We love visiting Stratton during the winter to ski, but we have never stayed during the summer. It was so beautiful and peaceful and we couldn’t love Dave and Wanda’s place more! It was cozy and warm, but also spacious. Super clean and organized and had everything that we could need or want. This place is a gem! Thank you for an awesome weekend!

It was a fantastic place to stay. To start, the Host was very responsive to my questions since this was my first VRBO. David got back to me within minutes which made the process quick and easy. The unit was immaculate and very welcoming. Being on the ground level, we had instant access to the outdoors. The pool and hot tub were very accessible from the back deck. Stratton Village was a short walk, can't wait to visit it during the hopping winter season. If your a skier, your again just a short walk to the Stratton Lodge. This place is exactly what you need for a stress-free, relaxing trip.
