Tidy and clean, everything needed, close to town and parks for nice walks

Great bathroom, well fitted out kitchen, nice spacious accommodation. Quiet central location with on-site parking. Effective WiFi.
We couldn’t find a tea towel. TV reception was intermittent. Slight condensation problem due to age of property - but overall small issues on what we found to be a comfortable three night stay.

Location is great. Very easy to walk to city centre
Tv signal wasn’t the best. It was cold upon arriving. I presume because it was empty before we arrived

The use of a kitchen, good parking. There was a very comfortable bed and there was plenty of room.
Just that it was a bit far from amenities, but otherwise a perfect place to stay.

The location was good. The check in with the lock box was really easily. The kitchen was adequately stocked. Bed was comfortable. The decor was quirky. The host provided umbrellas which was really useful, and hangers too for the rail.
None of the doors closed properly, and the lock on the bedroom and bathroom doors didn’t work - so there was no privacy. The flat was clean, but it wasn’t extremely clean - the skirting boards were dirty and the flat was dusty. One of the cushions on the sofa was weirdly upholstered. The Wi-Fi was terrible. The cupboard by the washing machine couldn’t get access to. The front door didn’t feel particularly safe, I would have liked a sturdier door, with a safer locking system.
The windows didn’t open which made it a bit stuffy and my clothes smelled damp when I returned.

Parking space is very slim & couldn’t fit estate car so had to risk parking on road with disc parking

Old sofa needs replacing. All furniture is old and out of place/ tired
Fire condemned so should be removed and replaced
No welcome pack / tea or milk or anything. Owner really needs to visit other properties to see how it’s done well

No tea towels. Fridge / freezer old a bit unclean

Bed old and squeaks when you move
Bed covers very old / worn out and faded.

The apartment was dirty and dusty, the kitchen lacked every day utilities, what was there needed to be washed before use. The bedding was old and the pillows a health hazard.

The location was fantastic and the property had everything we needed for a short stay, including a (very small) parking space.
My Booking.com confirmation had a checkout time of 11am... However, the cleaner arrived at 10.15 and said that she had been told that the checkout time was 10. (She very kindly agreed to come back in 15 minutes so we could finish packing up!)

We loved the furniture (solid, attractive, not Ikea cheap stuff). Beautiful high ceilings, beautiful building. Wonderful heavy velvet curtains.
It'd be good to have a dish rack for drying, and a better set of dishware.

It was clean, warm and comfortable in spite of the big old single glazed windows (a living museum!) The short stroll into town was ideal with easy parking at the apartment. We weren't expecting much from the description 'flat screen TV' and didn't mind that there was no WiFi but in actual fact the TV was a fully functioning 40 inch smart Toshiba. There was (nearly) everything you needed. Flute glasses, small kitchen knives, a glass jug instead of plastic to whisk an omelette maybe would have been ideal and definitely more bath towels please (we took our own luckily) but we're nitpicking now!
One neighbour objected to our parking closer to the apartment in a space that clearly hadn't been occupied for a while (had to move a hub cap). They left a irritated note on the windscreen. But there were plenty of spaces to choose from. Sorry to that neighbour.

Great location, 5 minute walk to city centre. Fab Interior.
Not happy with the advertised Private Parking: there was a car parked in bay 15 for our stay. The owners did not reply to our message concerning this so we parked in some else's bay (13) as all the streets are permit only parking. They were quick to confirm our reservation at short notice but failed to respond to the parking issue. Shame, nice place otherwise.
