The home/property was amazing and breathtaking. Amenities galore and so much space. The hot tub was perfect. When the temp got cool. Perfect location to everything, we visited 3 local wineries for wine tasting and a brewery. Planning for the next trip!!

The house was really nice and the location was perfect. It was so close to Shenandoah National Park which gave us so much time to hike and take our time at the park. We also really liked the hot tub after a long day. All the amenities were working as usual and everything was very comfortable and cozy.

My adult sons and I needed a break from work & a place to relax and enjoy nature. After reviewing multiple listings, I settled on this one and I'm glad I did! The owners have gone to great lengths to make this a plug-and-play vacation rental. The check-in process went smoothly and upon entry we were greeted with a clean house complete with large bedrooms with comfortable beds/pillows, a large great room with gas fireplace with clear operating instructions (very nice while watching TV on a cool night!), a large kitchen, nice quality towels, all the basics in the kitchen including coffee filters and pod filters for the Keurig Duo, cooking spices, phone chargers, and more. The bathrooms were clean with good water pressure and even had liquid body wash and shampoo provided in the showers. There was plenty of TP, dishwasher pods, and paper towels. The grill is charcoal but there was left-over charcoal in the closet just inside left from previous guests. The back deck also has a fairly new and clean hot tub which we thoroughly enjoyed several nights while catching up and gazing at the stars. The front porch has plenty of seats and we also spent time there at the end of the day watching the sunset. Downstairs there is a wonderful game room with multiple board games, a pool table, and karaoke which we utilized and created some fun memories. The owners have thought of everything to make your vacation time easy and relaxing-just bring your clothes and food! We definitely will be back!

We took a quick weekend getaway to hit the slopes and enjoy the waterpark. The house was exactly what we needed for 5 adults and 4 kids. Both the adults and the kids enjoyed the stay. The games and added entertainment at the house provided lots of fun. The kids especially enjoyed the karaoke machine. Great memories were definitely made.

This home is immaculate and well organized for visitors. Our entire family agreed this was the nicest place we have stayed at. We enjoyed everything- the hot tub, piano, pool table- but mostly, just the beautiful surroundings.

This was a great property to celebrate my adult twins birthday. The property was well appointed, beds comfortable and unit was clean. We loved the hot tub and pool table. The host provided info about the area and gave a great restaurant recommendation. Would highly recommend.

This was a wonderful getaway for my best friend and I and our kids. It was everything I was hoping for and much more. The house is even better in person. The location is perfect for the area and makes it a quick, easy drive to fun things and good food.
The communication was excellent and anytime I had a question it was answered quickly. I went through all of the reviews and agree with all of the glowing ones. We didn’t have a single issue or unpleasant experience the entire time. Our teens loved playing pool, the hot tub, games and playing the piano. I enjoyed one of them playing the soundtrack from La La Land on the piano while we made dinner. Everything we needed in the kitchen was there. The owners were very thoughtful setting the house up for guests. We were quite cozy and slept well on the comfortable beds.
We were there to go snow tubing and snow boarding and had a blast. It’s great to also have so many good places to eat nearby. After a fun day having this house to retire to was a treat. We were making plans to come back soon!

We had a wonderful time! There were a lot of good times in the snow, especially for the grandkids. The house was one of the best places I have stayed! It was well stocked with everything we needed, and everyone slept well! Definitely a 5 Star! Thank you Melissa and Danny, we hope to stay there again the next time we're in the area.

Total of eight adults stayed at this cabin for Christmas weekend and had an absolute fantastic time. The bedrooms are all spacious, and we really enjoyed all the boardgames and puzzles, the pool table, the karaoke machine, and hot tub for use. The resort seems to have a lot of activities as well.
The owner was very responsive to any questions or concerns in the house was pretty well stocked. Only negative, if you want to say that is you only get one set of towels per person, so sometimes having an extra set for the hot tub would be nice. But overall we really enjoyed our stay.

The house is nestled at the end of the street, cute house, well maintained landscape, first impression was pleasantly clean as expected, you can tell the carpet throughout the house had just gotten deodorized. The house was clean, toilets and all bathrooms were clean, kitchen was well equipped with pretty much all that we would need. The plates, pots and baking pans are NOT the greatest, they have seen better days so we bought disponible plates and cups the second day. Pots are ok but you need nonstick spray for sure so your food wont stick. BRING a SPONGE because they dont provide you with one under the sink.
The shower heads in the basement and the hallway bath have a special twist aonyou can get them to work (would have been nice to know in the description orbthe property book or by host ahead of time) not enough towels or blankets... so bring your own. TRUST ME you'll be glad you did.
We spent most of our stay out exploring the area and taking advantage ofany activities the resorts has to offer, BUT when we spent time IN the house after the 3rd day the SMELL of DOG was VERY strong from those carpets. I have pets, but this house starts to smell very strong mix of dog and deodorizer. it was not a good smell...
We didnt see any bugs etc. BUT at our first homeade dinner...roaches started to appear. We were disgusted and wished we had read the review left in November2023. We hope they REALLY take care of this before others stay here. Other than that it was a good stay.

We stayed in early November and it was perfect! Owners were very kind and everything went smoothly from checkin to checkout. The children didn’t want to leave and we were able to share this with our dog too! Best room in the house is the piano room watching the sun rise with a warm cup of coffee. Can’t wait to stay here again in the summer and winter.

We were a group of 10 working professionals coming together for a friends birthday party. We had a great time at the house, and in the general surrounding as we visited Luray Caverns. Upon our arrival, however, we encountered numerous roaches inside the property in the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, and main spaces. This can be expected for this region but this seemed excessive for a home that is said to be “cleaned” before guest arrival. The toilet bowl rings were brown as well. Nonetheless, we made do.

Boone house has a generous amount of space for a large group. The hot tub and game room with a pool table and karaoke machine was fun for our group of adults.

This house is a wonderful place to stay. You can tell that the property owners take pride in providing a clean and comfortable home for their guests. Everything we needed was in the house. The pots/pans were all we needed for cooking meals. The plates/utensils/silverware/etc was all plenty for our group of 7. The dining room table has excellent seating with chairs that are very comfortable. We used the pool table quite a bit which was very fun as well. The pool table is high quality and not a cheap one that shakes when you're trying to play. Comfortable beds and plenty of linens/towels provided.
As for the location, this was our first time in Massanutten and WOW. There are SO many things to do within a 5 minute drive of the house. Literally too many to list. We did the indoor water park (great time), petting zoo (very fun for our 7 year old), street curling (the whole family had a blast) and hit up a few of the wineries. There is a brewery that we missed but looked like a good time as well. If you're on the fence book this house, it's one of my best home rental experiences ever.

Property was even nicer than expected. Owners clearly go to a lot of trouble to make the experience as seamless and comfortable as possible for renters. An excellent choice for families of all ages but lots to offer and accommodate any needs. Definitely will be coming back to the Boone house in the winter if we can.

Our extended family of 10, including 6 children, had a delightful 3-night stay in July at this Massanutten cabin. The spacious bedrooms ensured comfort for all, while the inviting living area became our hub for bonding. The fully-equipped kitchen made meal preparations a breeze, and the sunroom was a serene spot for relaxation. Our days were filled with fun at the Massanutten Water Park and Family Adventure Park. The kids loved the basement's pool table and karaoke, while the adults cherished moments in the private hot tub. With its prime location offering easy access to resort amenities and Melissa's attentive hosting, our stay was seamless. Highly recommended for families seeking a blend of comfort and adventure.

We had a wonderful stay at the Boone House. There was plenty of room for our family. We enjoyed the pool table, hot tub and games provided. It was a great location near groceries, attractions and not far from the Shenandoah National Park. It was well equipped and Melissa was a great host. She answered questions and provided updates/info during our stay. I would highly recommend this rental and would definitely go back to stay again.

The house was very roomy! Plenty of room and spaces to spread out. The house is well stocked and owners were great to communicate with. We would definitely rent it again if it was available for our next trip.

We had 7 children 9 and under and 4 adults. The property allowed room for everyone to sleep comfortably and even places to put the kids so we could have adult time. Lots of games for kids and adults to play and close to the ski slopes and waterpark. There was well stocked with the basics for cooking too. The property manager was very responsive and nice. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
