Really small and narrow parking Our room faced another parking and people could see us with open windows Welcoming gesture of the owner, he hit the table with a hand as we could not understand each other (my surname!) Once I asked for the breakfast and it was poor, not as described (one croissant, two slices of bread, butter, some jam, yogurt and artificial panna cotta, no eggs, neither cheese, ham). Not comfortable rooms. It was hard to regulate hot/ cold water, shower equipment require renovation

Walking distance to Saint Máxime

Bathroom door “does not close” the bathroom So it’s noisy and smelly. Shower is small for tall people like me. Pictures advertisement at least don’t match room #3. Hotel breakfast could be considered “cheap” but what you get is below French expectations. You listen everybody’s movements and voices. Front desk is closed after breakfast so you are on your own.

It was exactly our hotel😊. From the first moment we realized that this hotel is just perfect. Stylish with french details and warm. Great hospitality and super atmosphere. We only regret that we didn’t have time for longer stay. Absolute recommend😊

The host couldn’t do enough to help and the breakfast was very generous. Free parking just outside. Very central but feels secluded, with a leafy terrace and lovely breakfast room.

We didn't realize the breakfast option was an additional expense, so we were a little surprised at the end of the week. We should have asked, but there was a language barrier, as our host didn't speak English. We still would have stayed there though!

This truly felt like a hidden gem. After looking for a hot for a while we found Le Castellemar in booking with a very nice score of 8,8 and they truly deserve it. We were welcomed by the owner, a true gentleman. Very polite, funny and ready to help with your luggage. Our room was not the biggest, but it had all the necessities and was very clean! It is located between other buildings which makes it a secluded location. After driving onto the private road you’ll arrive at the parking (Which isn’t too big, keep that in mind if you have a really big car!). And here you arrive at this romantic jardin, where you can have such a nice breakfast, served by the owner himself. The hotel is located approximately 5-10 mins walking from the beach and 10-15mins walking from the old center of sainte Maxime. I truly recommend this accommodation!

It’s just a perfect, simple and loving place to stay with all the charms of Southern France (as it lives in my imagination 😉)

Very relaxed, felt like I was at home. Able to take food up to the room with no hassles, whether from the hotel or outside. Staff helpful with advice and recommendations. Free parking and close to everything with a SPAR two minutes away for late night treat.

All good nothing to say here. Only a couple of minor things the wifi was a little weak and there were no English channels.

The hotel was better than we expected. The atmosphere was amazing, the staff was so friendly and helpful and the garden was very relaxing. Breakfast was very good. Staff paid attention to all the small details: e.g. when we ordered a coffee during the day, we got a nice pastry with it. Also, the room was very clean and got cleaned every day (including nice fresh towels). Would definitely recommend this place!

The shower was a bit small, but it didn’t bother us.

A little oasis. Very clean and comfortable. Near all the amenities. Phillip was marvellous. So helpful and produced a super breakfast. We would recommend a stay here. But want to keep this place a secret.
