The property is very well kept, clean, and well stocked. Our group of three adults and four young children had a wonderful time, playing with the many boats/water crafts available. The beach and dock were great. The little one had played with sand toys, and the older ones splashed and swam for hours. The property is close to a fun restaurant, and we enjoyed their walleye fish fry. A gas station/general store was convenient for misc supplies. There were a variety of futons and beds available, and we used them all. The adults bought two day fishing licenses and the older children had a ball catching and releasing blue gills, caught off one of the canoes. We bought some box fans to keep the upper bedrooms cool enough at night, but the basement has nice ceiling fans. It was a wonderful family time and we are thankful for the lovely venue and grateful to the host, who was very attentive and helpful. Thank you again, Tim!

The Cabin was everything and more than was promised, there were more accessories included with the cabin than we had time in the week to use. The Setup was great and provided us with all the comforts we could have asked for. We will definitely try this Cabin again!!

My family had a great time at this cabin. Cabin was clean and had space for everyone to be comfortable. A very quiet lake, there are many different boats to use on the water, 2 person kayak was excellent with our 5 yr old. My kids caught a lot of fish right off the dock. Owner was very responsive with questions that came up. Overall a great vacation. A few more bathroom towel hooks and some empty cabinet space in the kitchen would be a nice convenience.

This property could not have been better for our family. The cabin is in a beautiful, quiet wooded area and has excellent privacy. The cabin was clean and in excellent condition and had all the supplies we needed. The deck is large and has multiple tables and chairs and a brand new gas grill. The cabin has steps down to the lake which is beautiful. The water is clear and the bottom is sand which makes for excellent swimming. Traffic on the lake was minimal so it was very quiet and relaxing. We got a ton of fish including northerns, crappies, largemouth bass, perch and blue gill. One of the best things about the cabin is the selection of watercraft. There were approximately ten craft to use including single kayaks, double kayaks, a peddle boat, two paddle boards, a canoe, etc. There are also a ton of paddles and life jackets to use. The firepit is also amazing and we enjoyed many nights there. It overlooks the lake and there was plenty of firewood for us to use. The cabin is near a small town with a nice grocery store and only an hour from Duluth which is a nice day trip. All in all this is a fantastic property and probably the best VRBO I have ever stayed at. The owner is also incredibly nice and very responsive. If you are looking for a quiet family retreat in a beautiful setting, this cabin is for you.

Great property. We were fortunate to get such great lake access on Fourth of July weekend. The cabin and property you were exactly as stated in the listing. Clean, home and kitchen, conveniences, and greet water toys that we use every one of them. And, my son caught a 20+ inch walleye off a rowboat.

Beautiful cabin at the lake with great water access. Highly recommended. BBQ, fishing, large fire pit, and different types of water activities (canoes, paddle boats) are all available at this cabin. We had a great stay!!

Could not have asked for a better spot for our Northwoods getaway. Cabin was well-equipped and very comfortable/spacious for our group of 6. The lakefront area with private dock and beach perfect...firm sand bottom and crystal clear. Watercraft furnished by hosts provided endless hours of fun as we explored the lake. Daily eagle sightings and resident loon made the stay complete! Ideal location for any season. We hope to be able to go back again!

Recently stayed here for a week. Was everything that was advertised. Awesome location, well kept up and maintained. Out of the way enough to be peaceful, but close enough to essentials if you do wander out. Highly recommended.

We had a great trip staying at this cabin. Caught fish off the dock, went on kayak trips around the lake, hung out on the beach and many more activities. It was the perfect place for our family of 5.

Clean, well-appointed cabin on a beautiful lake. We enjoyed swimming on the sandy beach. We caught some nice fish right off the dock and we enjoyed the kayaks, paddleboat, and paddleboards.

Definitely a cabin vibe, with a great view and nice beach area (minor weeds/muck but once used some nice sand underneath) we caught some fish from the dock, the cabin came with pretty much all the supplies you need right down to the s’more sticks- also awesome to use kayaks, paddle board and paddle boat that were available. The only negatives were some nails sticking out on the stairs to the lake that I was able to pound in with a hammer on site and some peeling paint on the dock. I still highly recommend this place!

We had a really fun time with this up north lake cabin. Our kids enjoyed playing and fishing in the lake. The cabin was very clean and easy to get to. The only downside was that we couldn't get the ignitor on the grill to work (easily remedied with an aimflame).

Clean, cozy, yet also incredibly spacious. Amazing sunset views. Private. It was just perfect for our annual family getaway up north.

I rented this cabin in May 2022 with my girlfriend and 3 daughters. We had no idea what to expect as we hadn't been there before, and we were pleasantly surprised. The owners have done an excellent job making this rental feel like home. It was comfortable, clean, well appointed, and very well stocked. They even provided some a grill out back and a fire pit with wood available for use. The deck overlooks the lake which is a short set of stairs away. The water is calm and deep enough to swim, canoe and paddle board. There is a nice dock for fishing from or swimming from. We used the kayaks most of the time, and did try some of the other boats available. We spent a lot of time taking in all the fresh air and sunshine that Leader Lake provides. This is one of the cleanest lakes I've ever seen with almost no trash floating around. The lake bottom is sandy, so you can easily wade into the water without getting hung up and stuck. Overall, I'd say this is a great choice if you want to escape the city and relax on a beautiful lake. The owner was also very accommodating and responded quickly to any questions that came up. If I could give them more than 5 stars for customer service, I would. We hope to return again next summer.
