This quaint 1980s home has been beautifully modernised, is spacious and clean. It also has the most phenomenal view, you can sit for hours drinking it in and it’s a gloriously quiet location. It was the perfect place to stay to attend a family wedding at nearby Terindah Estate. Unfortunately I left some jewellery behind in a drawer (always check!) and the host very kindly collected it for me and dropped it off to my sister in Geelong. Talk about going the extra mile! Thank you, Helen. Clifton Springs is a very pretty and historically interesting town, having had thermal springs near the beach many years ago, where people ‘took the waters’. The old site is well worth a visit. All in all a wonderful weekend, with that amazing view awaiting us when we came home each day. A hidden treasure.

The view this place has is beautiful, especially at sunset. Access to the beach and a good base for visiting wineries and other beaches in the area. Host was responsive to questions and provided prompt support.

The house is a little aged, although had everything you need for a holiday break.

The central heating wasn’t working when we arrived but all it took was a quick reset and it was back up and running

The house was clean with plenty of room for our family of seven (two adults, five kids). The view is great - its lovely seeing the water from the front room. We had a small problem with heating - but the host was very responsive and things were rectified within an hour or so. We would definitely stay here again :)

We were very impressed in the provided products for our use. It gave us the feeling of almost being in our own home. The house provided every thing that we needed for our short stay.

The only thing that should be looked at (for safety reasons) is the black en-suite floor mat for use near the shower. The one currently there has no anti-slip base on it, so we found it extremely dangerous and slippery when on the wet gloss tiled floor. ( my wife slipped, and almost fell when stepping onto it out of the shower) Otherwise all is nice & clean and in good condition.

The veiws from the large windows were fantistic and made it so relaxing. The house was set out to make the most of these veiws right on a quiet esplanade. the king bed was extreemly comfortable.

What a spectacular view! We loved sitting and watching the activity on the bay. The house was well equipped and a good size for our group of 7. The bbq facilities were great too. The house was in a great location, close to the beach, boat ramp and a short drive to Drysdale.

The bed in the second bedroom was very hard and uncomfortable. The electric hot plate was quite small for cooking on. It did the job but limited our cooking options.
