Cozy, charming little cabin

Excellent accommodations for our weekend get away! Three adults and a 4 year-old were in our group and it fit us perfectly. We arrived on Friday to find a clean, welcoming home. We prepared all meals here and the cottage was supplied with enough pots and pans to prepare our basic meals, plus plenty of plates, cups, utensils. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom wasstocked with plenty of towels, and plenty of TP, PT, and dish soap. Not to mention laundry on site with detergent provided. We spent Saturday on Mackinac Island. The ferry was a very short drive from Northern Nights. Very convenient! The fire ring out front was perfect for evening S’mores. We were able to purchase firewood at Chubbs. The General Store just a bit further than Chubbs also offered an array of convenience items as well as fresh meats. Great customer service at both as well! Our host was quick to respond to messages when we had a couple questions. Overall, a well appointed small cottage close to many activities.

This little cabin worked perfect for a place for my mom and I to stay with my 3 kids for our annual summer getaway. It was a short drive to Mackinac. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed.

The house was close to the lake, and in a great area. We found amazing places to eat, and fantastic sights to see. the weather held up nicely for most of our stay, and we enjoyed our time there.

I was travelling with our two granddaughters. The cabin had everything we needed and the location is great. Very close to attractions My granddaughter has severe milk allergies and the kitchen has all we needed to store and prepare food. The cabin was also very clean!

The cottage was extremely clean and in excellent repair. It was simple but had many quality appointments. It was very cozy. And the owners were very readily available, as I had several conversations with Ekko. She even called me two days before check in to make sure we got the security code for the door lock. She didn't have to do that. They went above and beyond. I highly recommend this property. Thank you so much, Jamie and Ekko!

Our stay was very nice, we were 4 adults the bunk bed was not sutible for an adult but we managed with with the smaller sofa bed. Love place.

This was a great place for us. We basically used it as base camp while we shopped and walked the Mackinaw Bridge. Very quiet neighborhood. Had everything we needed.

This was a clean, quiet place to stay with all the amenities. Not far the ferry to Mackinac Island and other fun activities. Looks like a great place for kids - playground close by. Fishing lake across the road.

Very quite and relaxing cottage

The VRBO itself exceeded all expectations. It was impeccably maintained and furnished with a traditional cozy cabin touch. The owners had thoughtfully provided all the amenities you needed, making you feel right at home. The fully equipped kitchen allowed you to whip up delicious meals, and the spacious living area provided a comfortable space to relax and unwind. So many nearby attractions only minutes away made the location ideal.

We had a great stay at the property in Carp Lake. It was close to the lake and Mackinaw City. We had the space to relax, cook meals, and enjoy a campfire.

We enjoyed carp lake and relaxing at the cabin but also that it’s close to mackinaw and other fun!

We enjoyed our stay at Carp Lake!!! The cabin was great and local restaurants were good! Loved that the cabin had a washer and dryer! Definitely try Goldie's Cinnamon Roll at Harbor Lights Grille! Nice location for a peaceful, relaxing stay!

Very quiet neighborhood. If your looking to just get away this is the place, nice restaurant 0.7 miles down the road. Will definitely stay again!

It was easy to rent. The cottage was super clean. Everything we needed including paper plates, paper towels, coffee filters, plenty of towels and super comfortable mattresses!! Nice☺️

This a beautifully maintained cottage with all the amenities you’ll need for a comfortable stay. The location is wonderful: a stone’s throw away from Lake Paradise with the tip of the mitt easily accessible. The Harbor Lights Grille, less than a mile away, offers up delicious breakfasts and stunning views of the lake. A bit further south is Clyde’s Place, a favorite hangout for locals, that offers up delicious burgers, sandwiches, pizza and other fare. I’m definitely looking forward to a return trip.

Northern Nights was the perfect getaway for our family. Very short and easy drive into Mackinac, with the ability to sleep and stay away from the crowds. Cottage has all the essentials needed. Our kids loved the bunk beds and bonfires at night.

We enjoyed our stay at Carp Lake. The cabin was very comfortable and conveniently located to beaches, fishing, bike trails and Mackinack City. The bunk beds were quite a hit with our children.

Nice cottage across from a quiet lake. Located a half mile from a nice little lakeside restaurant, Harbor Lights Grille, that has great breakfast and Rhubarb Pie! The cottage was clean, well equipped and was a just a short drive from Mackinaw City. We’d definitely stay there again if we were in the area.

I would definitely stay here again. No shoes allowed in the cabin and if I had known I would have brought some slipper sox to walk around in while inside.
