There was a coffee maker but no coffee or creamer and sugar. Cockroach in bathroom in middle of the night.

I booked through booking.com for a simple vacation experience. I didn't book through Airbnb. Unbeknownst to me this is actually through "vacasa". Huge lack of communication.. Even though I put my card in, have booked on booking.com, was nonrefundable, *vacasa* still called me and said I had to verify my identity. Little sketchy. Said I would receive and email with rental agreement, etc. I did not. I went back and forth with their customer service, and eventually got a snarky email about how they would now send it to my "alternative" email provided... My only email, the first one I gave them, and the same one I managed to get my "confirmation" from booking.com through... So I've already confirmed this stay through booking, but now I have to jump through all these hoops with knockoff Airbnb. When I arrived, the front desk was closed. The email had a code for the door they did not work. I still am confused because it said the property would handle payment.. so it's not like a hotel at all , and now I've arrived to my nonrefundable, identity verification multiple times booking, and I can't even get it. I call, and am provided with a different code to a kiddie lockbox and get a key. There's a $200 cleaning fee, and I'm instructed to clean everything myself. There's no parking pass. Check out is 10am. After paying a hefty sum of money this is a bunch of nonsense that I'd rather never deal with again. I don't avoid Airbnb to get a worse ran, more expensive version of it. I will definitely be booking direct from hotel sites going forward.
