My husband and i have stayed here before, and each time is perfect. Great location, lovely neighbors, and clean and home like. We look forward to staying with them again.

We had a great time staying on the NJ Delaware Canal Path in Lambertville, NJ. The house was as advertised and had everything that we needed. We would definitely stay here again. It was very comfortable and conveniently located for exploring Lambertville NJ, New Hope PA and Doylestown PA.

The location of the house on the canal is very peaceful and only a 5-minute walk into downtown. The A/C units in each room are very good. The only thing to know about the property is that the staircase leading to the 2nd floor bedrooms is steep, a little narrow, and curved at the top, so this could pose a challenge for elderly people to easily navigate. Other than that I was happy with the unit.

We had a great time in this lovely house situated right on the canal. The back garden and deck were private and picturesque, the house was immaculate and beds comfortable. The upstairs screened in porch was a perfect space to hang out in the morning. I hope to stay there again.

This was our second stay at 64 Canal, and we loved it! The location is peaceful and away from the Bridge Street hubbub. The house overlooks the towpath and the canal, where the only sounds are the birds, some ducks and geese, and the wind in the trees. Perfect! We'll be back!!

Stayed to help celebrate with friends and family in New Hope. Very close to many great shops and it even snowed during our visit. House was very comfortable.

The home was perfect for my family of 3. Great communication with the host. Everything we needed was available and clean. A convenient location with a beautiful short walk into Lambertville/New Hope.

The Canal House is a lovely and peaceful location. The access to Lambertville and New Hope, by the towpath, makes for a unique experience. It takes you back to a simpler time. Wonderful!

We have been to Lambertville many times over the years. But this stay was the best of them all, and the 64 Canal property was the main reason. The hosts are gracious and responsive. The house is spotless, cozy, and charming. The patio outside and the upper-level, screened-in porch allowed us to enjoy the fall weather and listen to the mallards quacking away. And the house's location right by the canal allowed us easy access to the tow path for long walks each day. Best of all, it's location so close to town meant we could easily reach all that Lambertville and New Hope have to offer. We will definitely stay at 64 Canal on our next visit!

Really nice place. It’s quiet but close to all the fun. Would definitely stay again. My only warning to figure guests is that the stairs are a bid steep and narrow. There are railings and slip resistant steps but I think if this is something mobility wise that could be a concern for some. The upstairs bathroom is in one of the bedrooms so unless you are comfortable sharing an on suite bathroom, the person staying in the other room will need to go downstairs to use the bathroom at night. Was not an issue for us but thought it might be helpful information for future guests. We enjoyed our time. The host was really nice and communicated clearly. Would definitely recommend and will hopefully get to stay again in the future.

Quaint place...comfortable beds. Clean, great location, private. (Kitchen and small bathroom had a strong odor of mold or damp odor. Maybe a dehumidifier would help) if i visit again i would stay here again. Thank u.

My partner and I ADORED this little house! It's ideally situated: tow path literally right outside the front door, walkable into town and great local restaurants/coffee shops. It also was scrupulously clean, and had the most comfortable pillows/mattress I've ever slept on--better than my own bed at home. If not for the scary steep staircase up to the second floor, which took a minute to get used to, I could have lived here permanently! Although we had no problems or issues during out stay, the property owner was easily accessible and checked in on us with "extra" directions to the house, which sometimes doesn't show up on GPS. We could not have had a better experience: THANK YOU.

The apartment was perfect in every way for a weekend getaway for a couple. It was quiet, well appointed, with a beautiful view of the canal, and a short walk to downtown Lambertsville and New Hope. We hope to stay there again sometime.

Beautiful property along the river. Was very clean with just about all the amenities and things you could need. We really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend! Only negative is that the stairs are steep and a bit slippery. Go down them with care if you've got big feet.

Perfect place to relax and unwind!

When I pulled up, I couldn’t believe how lucky I was to be staying in this beautiful historic home! Very clean and comfortable. Great AC and Wi-Fi- great kitchen, several unique places to sit and relax, read, etc. The host gave helpful written detailed instructions and was available when needed. It is important to note that you must be able to walk up steep, narrow steps to get to the bedrooms. Also, the upstairs bathroom is located in the master bedroom so be prepared to share. There is also a nice 1/2 bath off the kitchen.

The house was great, just like the pics! The host was wonderful, very open and responsive to texts/calls when needed. Thank you!! Two suggestions: need thongs in the kitchen and the patio door off the kitchen really needs replaced, it does not open or close easily! It really isn’t safe.

We had a lovely stay in this location. It is really and truly on the canal towpath, so you can sit on the second floor deck and watch the traffic on the multi-use trail, as well as the wild life. The kitchen is ample and well appointed. The beds were quite comfortable. it is a short walk to Lambertville proper and this fabulous French bakery. Everything about this place is charm charm charm! Would love to stay again.

Nice location on the canal path, very convenient to Lambertville and New Hope. Quiet and pleasant. I especially enjoyed sitting on the screen porch, reading and watching the world go by.

I came seeking peace and I found it.

I met up with a long time friend for a weekend away. We had such a great time! This location is ideal. We were able to walk to dinner both nights. It was also an easy drive to New Hope (we probably would have walked if it hadn’t been raining). The house itself was clean and had everything we needed. All in all, I would come back again!

We absolutely loved our stay! It's literally on the canal path and a block from the playground and two blocks from the main road in Lambertville. We loved the house so much that we got takeout and ate on the back patio, front screened in porch and kitchen. The house overall was really fascinating with all the art and decor. We also had aloud two year old and he loved watching the ducks on the porch and walking to the playground. Thank you!

Great house in great location. Walkable to everything and very close to some very good restaurants (try The Hawke, reservations are a good idea unless you go early, they also have a nice bar). House was a good mix of old (in a good way) and new, it had the charm you wanted from an old house but all the important things like Bathroom, kitchen, TVs, AC and heat were all modern. House is right on the tow path for the canal, and you can sit and watch the canal from the 2nd floor porch, something I enjoyed much more than I thought. Homeowner was very responsive. A few things to be aware of: we had 3 people which worked out great, it might me a bit tight for 4 people, but it could work. Stairs are a bit steep and narrow (which is normal for an older home) but the handrails were very strong, so I was able to make it up and down OK. The window covering in the bedrooms could have been heavier to keep the rooms darker in the mornings, I mentioned this to the homeowner, and I believe he is going to do something about it. Overall, I will definitely stay here again and would recommend it highly.

We had a wonderful stay. My 3 year old loved watching the ducks on the canal. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. The espresso maker was a nice surprise. We walked into town along the canal and it only took about five minutes. We would absolutely stay here again.

The property was quaint and loved that is was on the canal path. Loved sitting on the front swing watching the ducks.
