Location, amenities, spaciousness. Everything

This was the perfect home for our stay. I had family in from 4 states to celebrate my retirement. Having the dock was such a bonus, we fished, paddled and hung out there. The set up was great, a large table for meals and an island for serving. I’ve never rented a home that provided so much as far as toiletries, hand soaps, cleaning supplies etc. They provided a new grate on the charcoalgrill which we used several nights. There were plenty of dishes, utensils, glasses to use. Both a regular and a K-cup coffee maker on the coffee/drink bar. A perfect spot. Would rent again.

If you are looking for a home to sleep in at the beach this one works. It has all the basics, but nothing more. The outdoor lighting is really great, making it easy to navigate at night. The dock is awesome. There’s only water in the small inlet at high tide; otherwise, your boat will sit in the mud, but it’s perfect for a Jon boat. The house’s dog friendly touches are nice with a little fenced dog area at the bottom of the back stairs. The home itself though is in need of some TLC. The 2 overstuffed chairs in the main living room are so dirty with a general brown coating of dirt and spill stains on them that we did not feel comfortable using them. It’s a small living area, so that’s one of the main seating options unfortunately. The kitchen microwave clock is broken, and while the kitchen has all the basics there is nothing extra. No glass wine glasses. Only a Keurig; the traditional pot coffee maker was broken which would have been nice for a group. Also, the back door is in need of repair. This house also still uses a physical key which is a bit of an annoyance although not a big deal. Overall, my family had a nice trip there, but we wouldn’t rent this home again.

It was nice to escape from the rest of the world. I was able to work on the wifi without issues while my husband tried to fish off the dock. We were also able to walk to the beach and use our bikes to explore the rest of the island on the bike trail. The location is really the best of both worlds. The local team was super helpful while we were there as well. Thank you for allowing us to stay!

We loved house- the dock out back, a few minutes walk to beach, comfortable beds, little playroom that the kids loved, etc. The only reason we didn’t give it 5 stars was due to a few SMALL things-a couple of the bedroom doors wouldn’t latch, rather thin towels, and no garbage disposer. But we liked the house enough that we will probably come again!

The location was wonderful, house was very comfortable and dog friendly. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful large home with so many private bedrooms with excellent beds. Linens are provided and the beds are made when you arrive. We also had plenty of towels. Kitchen is perfect with very nice appliances and plenty of space to seat several people for meals. Lots of dishes, pots and pans. There is a separate coffee bar with drip coffee maker. Beautiful tidal marsh was fun for bird watching but we didn’t catch any fish from it. We plan to stay here again in the future. Very close to beach access 36 and the island bike path.
