Everything was awesome

I liked the outdoor space being so close to the main farm and the cows and chickens and farm dog wandering outside each morning - perfect for little ones who like farms and animals. The people who owned the farm were very friendly and welcoming, they provided some free eggs fresh from the farm and a nice Devon made bottle of Cider which was a nice touch. They also provided some bats and balls and games in a cupboard next to the caravan which was nice for the older kids. The stay was very peaceful, the views from the caravan were great and it really was a refreshing stay. Overall, we would definitely go back as we know what to expect and because of the friendliness of the people along with the price being reasonable for what we got. It's not the most modern or spacious caravan but I believe the owners have made efforts to make it as comfortable as possible with things like a large smart TV with netflix and youtube, lots of dvds and a dvd player, games provided, some books provided, bedding provided (which did smell fresh). Also - there IS WIFI! Although here on booking just advertised as no Wi-Fi so my girls didn't bring their tablets because we thought there no point. I suppose this is a good thing as they had a bit of a digital detox, but just wish it had correct details when booking as foresight is better than hindsight or regret!

The caravan was very very very hot, this is pretty normal for caravans in the summer but I just wish there had been a couple of good, big fans provided. Saying that,one of the owners offered more than once to try and source us fans if we were uncomfortable, but i didnt like to put him out as i can see they work hard on the farm, and they had a new baby! There were one or 2 small fans tucked away but these were very dusty. There were quite alot of spiders and bugs which - again is normal for a caravan especially on a farm, but these could have been swept away before arrival, I say that as a person who's terrified of the things and my children are too so that may just be an "us' problem! Overall, we would be pleased to stay again, but just a little more hoovering and cleaning in corners to try and rid of the spiders and cobwebs and perhaps putting the fan on for a couple of hours prior to guests arrival would have made a little difference to us comfort wise.
