Literally, look no further than this little slice of Heaven!! This house is close to everything, but you feel you are away from everyone! You’ll see plenty of deer and bucks in the yard! The yard also has plenty of space to throw football, play tag, or whatever you want to do! My kids loved the swings and the hot tub! Inside you’ll enter into a cozy, but spacious home! The house is spotless! The kitchen has everything you need - even dish soap and sponges/towels. You’ll also have towels, wash cloths, and toiletries for your stay! We were able to wash our towels throughout the weekend since there was detergent and dryer sheets! The beds are comfortable and cozy! The basement is amazing - Pac-Man, TV, wood burner, pool table, and a closet with toys! My kids loved the chalkboard! Seriously - I have stayed in so many places and this was the BEST! Nothing beat waking up our first morning there to steady snow accumulating on the ground! With the big picturesque windows and warm fireplace- it created the perfect ambiance! We cannot wait to come back!! I have absolutely NO complaints!

Immaculately clean, felt secluded and quiet, plenty of space for our family. Everything we needed was there, and then some. Great amenities including hot tub, old school arcade, pool table and lots of comfortable seating. Would love to come back and stay again!

Everything was laid out in the house in total perfection convincing me to believe about your personal indulgence in the upkeep of the interiors. All possible details were gone into so accurately and diligently. With all the necessary information available at every place, we did not feel the necessity of any help. All i can say is that the facility is complete in every respect. Highly recommend it. We will be back!

Such a beautiful home with plenty of space and close to everything but far enough to enjoy privacy I absolutely loved the home. It felt like home a way from home. Rick and Amy are amazing thank you again for allowing us to stay at your beautiful home.

We had a great President's Day weekend. They're close to Wisp, but far from the noise. The house was clean and well stocked.

We had an awesome time! The house is gorgeous and the owners are very responsive. Make sure you have 4WD in the winter!

We were unable to utilize the house for three full days of our contracted rental due to poor treatment of the driveway. Owner’s plow service plowed but did not treat the nearly 100-yard long drive with salt or sand. One of our cars slid off and had to be towed out. Ultimately, we could only navigate the drive and access the house with a borrowed 4 wheel-drive vehicle. We notified the owner repeatedly and he called the plow service, which repeatedly plowed but failed to properly treat the drive. Even accessing the lockbox was treacherous because it required walking on a snow and ice-packed walk that had not been shoveled. We asked about the plow service and driveway when we first booked the property and were assured there was a daily service. We do do not recommend renting this property in winter UNLESS you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Thanksgiving holiday at Mountain Air. The house was super clean and comfortable. We loved all the natural lighting & wall of windows looking out to the woods & wildlife. The beautifully landscaped property was perfect for stargazing at night & morning tea/coffee on the porch as deer wandered by. Although it’s tucked away from neighbors, the location was easy to get to town amenities & local sights. Rick & Amy made everything easy, welcomed us via the VRBO platform and were very responsive throughout the stay. It's always hard coordinating the whole family to get out the last day, so we appreciated the check-out process was not too demanding either. The couches were cozy, bath towels were high quality, sheets comfy & we appreciated not having to worry about running out of garbage bags and dish soap. The wall heaters in each room took us a bit of fiddling to figure out the right temp, but it was nice to have the option to control. I was a little nervous about Thanksgiving prep in a rental kitchen, but they had everything we needed including a sharp knife, garlic press and even crock pot & serving dishes. We got turkey & ham from Arrowhead Market deli, though I’m pretty sure I saw a roasting pan in case we wanted to do our own. Kids played basketball & loved the arcade machine on the rainy day plus the TVs. The hot tub area is protected under the patio, has lighting and beach towels are even provided. We didn't use the fire pit, but wood was stacked in case we wanted to. With all the fun at the house, the kids had to be coaxed into leaving to explore the area. We ended up having an awesome hike at Swallow Falls State Park. The kids also enjoyed walking around Deep Creek Lake State Park, the Discovery Center/Aviary and climbing rocks by the beach. We definitely hope to return.

Everything was as described. Cleaned well, set up and recorded cute. The outside is so peaceful and remote and the deer will visit outside multiple times through the day, making it so fun to watch them even from the couch!

We had such a great time as a family unplugging and resting! The home was close to everything while also feeling secluded and private. The hosts were so helpful and really did everything they could to make us feel at home and comfortable!

The property itself is gorgeous. Spacious. The hot tub, game room and yard were everything that was advertised. The surrounding tourist town is cute: some good restaurants and general amenities. Access to Deep Creek Lake and several outdoor activities.

This home/property was beautiful and perfect for our family. It was a short weekend to relax but had enough activities for our 7 and 2 year old to enjoy!

This is a beautiful, clean, secluded, relaxing home away from home!! The house is just as it is seen in the listing! The owners are very responsive to questions or concerns and were very good & welcoming hosts! We enjoyed the privacy & peacefulness of the property! Deer wander through all times of the day. Hummingbirds raced around the feeder & flowers as we enjoyed the big deck overlooking the yard! This house is also very close to all of the attractions that Deep Creek Lake has to offer! We highly recommend Mountain Air and hope to come back again in the future!

We loved the calm/relaxing location. Plenty of room in the house, and lots of open yard. Deer frequently roamed past the property. Kitchen had everything we needed for a couple of full meals. On arrival were everything we needed to make S'mores on the fire, with firewood under the deck. Wasn't any kindling...but plenty of fallen branches in the tree-line. Whole family loved the house. Very close to everything in town, and the state park (10-15 mins to everything.) We had some issues with the internet, but owners were responsive to resetting for us. The various tv's had Roku's....which was our primary entertainment. Just know...you will probably have to reset the Roku you are using (unplug and plug back in) to get them to work, pretty much daily. But otherwise...stable and gave us plenty of tv time. Would definitely recommend this property and stay again.

Our family of 4 had a great stay! The pictures portray it perfectly but experiencing the property is even better. It was very clean and had all the amenities we could ask for plus some special touches. It's secluded enough but close to what you need. We were able to hit the lake and the State Park. We had 16 yr and 20 yr old boys so the pool table and video game unit were big hits! The deck was just right for morning coffee listening to the birds and watching the deer pass through. Plenty of room for everyone to also stretch out on their own when they wanted to. Thank you Rick & Amy for providing such a great escape!
