The interior of this cabin is exactly as described in the description. I would have given it 5 stars except for a couple of things. First, my fault that I did not check that there was air conditioning. There is not and the cabin was 85 degrees inside for the entire weekend. It was almost unbearable. No overhead fan in the living area but the fans in the bedrooms helped some at night. Also, we did not use the outdoor decks because they were covered with spider webs and very dirty. The grill and the outdoor table were still covered with wraps and when we started to uncover them the dust and webs made us decide to just not use the deck. The downstairs deck is halfway taken up with an unusable hot tub which is unsecured but still has some water in it. (Watch your toddlers.) There appears to be a nice dining table on that deck also but it didn't make sense to carry our food down a flight of stairs and through the master bedroom to eat out there. Other than those two issues, the interior is very very nice. Some cleaning would help the approach so you don't walk up the stairs through spider webs and dirt, and the decks should be spotless when you check in as well.

We chose this mountaintop retreat because it looked so comfy, cozy and clean in the pictures and we weren’t disappointed. This cabin is a winner! It’s updated elements mix perfectly with its original cabin feel to create a great atmosphere that you won’t want to leave. The details were not forgotten — from comfy beds and pillows to a plush couch to a flat screen TV in every room not to mention the fireplace and overhead mood lighting. It’s nestled in the trees so that you feel like you’re in a treehouse at peace with the blue jays that frolic on the branches a breath away. The owners were also incredible communicators and so accommodating. I only wish I could keep this gem a secret as my family would like to return!
