This was the perfect getaway cabin for our trip to hike around Shenandoah. The cabin is very secluded and overlooks the owners farm. The drive to Shenandoah was about 45 minutes, but some really great scenery on the way. Would definitely stay again.

Dennis is a fabulous host (with some fabulous behind the scenes help). Great, quiet place away from busy life. He takes great care of the property and surroundings.

I loved this property! Very private, shady, even better than i thought it would be. The cabin was clean and tidy, nice size and even a dish washer! The large pavillion patio is a great space for relaxing. There is actually a small church there too! My dogs and I enjoyed the walking trail. My host Dennis was super nice, friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again, fall should be gorgeous!

This cabin was a fun stay for us with our dog. Super clean, well stocked with all the essentials and plenty of space to roam. The bed was really comfortable and the linens were very nice. The added bonus of a HUGE covered porch with fireplace made it easy to spend lots of time outdoors. The property is secluded at the top of a steep rise in the hillside with a nice view of the farm and countryside below. The walking trail on site offered a nice bit of exercise without having to drive to the surrounding hiking trails. The host was friendly and responsive but allowed for plenty of privacy. Would stay here again without hesitation.

This is our 2nd visit and it feels like home. It is off the beaten path, but close to town , comfortable, and relaxing!! The valley is beautiful, get off the beaten path and enjoy it 👍

Stayed here on part of my road trip to check out Shenandoah. Cannot recommend enough, Dennis is a great host and provides a clean and cozy place to stay. Plus easy access to tons of activities around the area. Would definitely book again for whenever I return to Virginia!

Absolutely beautiful place to stay. The cabin was immaculate. The host was very friendly. Easy access to Harrisonburg, Staunton, and West Virginia.

The owner, Dennis, was so helpful and kind. We went to church with him on Sunday morning. Loved the country setting, cows mooing, roosters crowing, and sunsets over the mountains.

Dennis the owner went out it his way with kindness and understanding To make this trip enjoyable an relaxing, The cabin is very clean neat and cozy. amenities such as toaster , Keurig a variety of coffees pods condiments bottles water , and cooking supplies you won’t need much more than your then you’re personal things . The bed is very comfortable . There is excellent use of space .lots of room n play area for our grandchildren. The outsoor fireplace is a bonus to the views . Excellent if your visiting family an want to get together outdoors . Thank you again Dennis !!

The space is small but so very well appointed. I haven’t stayed in such a clean place in a while. The counters, the floor, the dishes…even the smell was fantastic! They do a really great job communication was great, the hosts were very friendly. I would stay again so I feel like that sums it up!

We were looking for a place to get away from the busy pace of life and a place close to our family. We also needed a dog friendly place and with the walking trails our dog was in Heaven!!! If you want a private little cozy cabin away from the city, this is for you👍 Virginia is beautiful!!!!!!

We had a wonderful stay in the cabin! We came for a girls weekend and shopping. The covered porch and fireplace were our favorite thing at the cabin! It was great to sit back and catch up in such a relaxing place.

My husband and I enjoyed being at this cabin in the fall! So much so that we are going to return for Thanksgiving. :)

I booked this cabin for my husband to spend the weekend and find a little zen/peace. He let me know right away that it was mission accomplished! He said everything was cozy, clean and well-appointed. He said that the owner Dennis clearly cares about the property. We definitely recommend it to others and may be back ourselves!

From the moment we arrived we were in love. This quaint country cabin nestles amongst the autumn forest trees was right out of a fairy tale. The owner was so very nice. We hope to stay here again soon..

Great stay for a short weekend for a friend’s wedding. Would love to come back and stay again when we have more time. The only downside is the smell of chicken farming, that’s true for most of the region!

We stayed the weekend and must say it was perfect... nicely tucked away from everyone and yet still close to downtown Harrisonburg. We enjoyed a quiet peaceful weekend and plan on going back next year for a longer stay

The cabin was very homey and clean, and fully equipped The fireplace was ready to burn, great to enjoy in the cooler evening. Dennis was a great host, recommending places to eat and hike, and was very friendly. It was a relaxing vacation!

This lovely cabin sits up a wooded hill in a place whimsically called Glen Hill Park. The cabin is great, tiny but perfect for two, with a covered patio with a fireplace. The Park has the small Glen Hill Chapel and the tiny Country Store, as well as a long BBQ spit for grilling many chickens. Ask, and Dennis will tell you the story! It’s an easy drive to Harrisonburg and the surrounding Shenandoah Valley.

Dennis was very timely in responding to any questions I had. Some other reviews mentioned the fact that the property is on a chicken farm as if that was a drawback; that is true, but you only drive past the coops to get to the house. We were there in August, and did not notice any farm odor once we got to the house. The house was clean and Dennis was very friendly. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again.

This property is amazing. Nice and secluded, making it very private. The host is awesome and makes sure you have everything you need before your stay commences. I would recommend to any couple looking for a romantic weekend, and we’d love to visit again.
