Our stay was awesome! The lodge provided all the space and privacy needed for babies to sleep, and grown ups too! The older kids had a blast with the basketball game and the arcade games. we all enjoyed the pool table! We had meals together at the huge dining table. We all loved having our own bathrooms connected to our bedrooms. It was easy for grandma and papa to get in and out of the house from the carport or the downstairs entrance. The hot tub was a huge hit with all of us! The mattress on our bed slept so well! We will book here again! Thank you for the delicious, complimentary coffee, teas, and hot chocolate.

We stayed for a family trip to the polar express. The house was great and had entertainment for all ages. It was clean and convenient to the train.

My family and I had the most amazing weekend here! There was something for everyone young and old to enjoy! The house was gorgeous and very well stocked. The game room was a big win as was the kids bear den. The beds were all comfy and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. A definite win!!

We stayed here for our annual weekend trip to ride the Polar Express with our family and friends. The house had everything we could possibly want, including 8 different ways to make coffee in the morning! A parent of young kids dream! It rained during our stay, but there was so much to do at the house we didn’t have to worry. We definitely plan to be back for our annual trip next year. It was the perfect vacation home for our needs!

Very well stocked. Every kitchen utensil you could need. Abundance of dishes and the coffee bar was amazing. Lots of extra towels and linens. Very clean! Definitely recommend for large groups.

We had an excellent stay in your house. The amenities were great. We had twelve family members including 5 boys(ages 7,5,4,3,2). The trip was planned to take the boys on the Polar Express. This house was in a great location in close proximity to Bryson City! The owner answered a couple of check-in questions very quickly. It was a great experience.

My friends and I stayed at the Dancing Bear Cabin for a few days. It was a great time, and we have absolutely no complaints.

First off, the owner (Alex) is so responsive and helpful. Not just with the home itself, but things to do and the area. The location of the home isn’t difficult to get to, it’s not far from the highway, or major cities for exploring. The home was superior - the coffee bar was my favorite and we enjoyed the game room as well. Was a family vacation to remember and a beautiful stay!

We are an extended family of 10 Including 4 grandchildren We had some initial blips at the home but the owner answered immediately to fix our concerns There were plenty of comfortable bedrooms with the kids taking over downstairs Very quiet with wonderful views of the mountains We used the hot tub and the outdoor fire pit which were wonderful It was close enough to Bryson city to enjoy Deep Creek, train and the Cherokee outdoor drama My only issue was the need for some folding chairs so all 10 of us could eat at the large dining room table Checking out was much easier then other VRBO homes that had very rigorous clean up procedures We highly recommend this home Great time was had by all

Communication was great. Nice location and central to two great rivers for white water rafting. House has a couple of great porches on the edge of a hillside with a huge hot tub that was hot upon arrival. The whole house is well appointed and great space up and down for entertaining. We had our extended family and was perfect for poker, darts, pool, arcade games etc. Everyone always had an option to keep busy. Two good coffee machines and microwaves up and down. Wry convenient to have large washer an dryer after a day in the river. The fire pit is large and stocked with wood, so we enjoyed that every morning and evening. We had two dogs with and it’s comfortable with them since it’s on a road where we saw no other cars. Owners were very responsive if we needed more of anything and frisky did a nice job with decor and keeping things up for guests. Highly recommend the property to larger families.

House was amazing. Everything you would need. We only had 6 in our stay from age 8 to 82 but it could have easily accommodated double that. On most trips we are all about exploring the area. We did rafting and zip lining plus explored some more areas. I actually found myself wishing we had more time to spend at the house to enjoy everything. The kids loved the pool table and hot tub and so did the adults. I’m a early morning person and was always up first. Sitting on the porch looking at that amazing view was a great way to start the day. I could go on and on about this house. just rent it you won’t be disappointed.

The cabin was very comfortable and had plenty of room for our entire family. There was so much to do and our 4 year old grandson loved all of the books and games. We will definitely come again!

Dancing Bear Lodge was ideal for our annual golf outing with friends from all around the country. Nearby Sequoyah National and Smokey Mountain Country Club courses were fantastic.

Great Property! Convenient to Bryson City, Cherokee and Sylva. Host (Alex) was very responsive and offered good suggestions. We had four generations, ages 2 1/2 to 92 1/2, and all our needs were met at the cabin. Hope to rent again in the future.

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cabin with lovely mountain views and great amenities! It's super close to The Great Smoky Mountains National Park as well as being extremely convenient to Bryson City, NC, which has some of the most stunning waterfalls in the area. Don't pass up this cabin as your base for enjoying all that this area has to offer. Super easy communication with the host makes this the absolute right choice for a guaranteed wonderful vacation!!!

This home was fully equipped with everything that we need whether it’s staying all day every day or venture out. This home had games with an amazing hot tub and a fully equipped kitchen. That was great for all the meals that we had planned to cook together Alex was extremely communicative, and just all-around pleasant to work with. He brought back the joy of using Vrbo as I feel like some owners have made it more challenging to travel, expecting you to essentially clean up their home before the cleaners come. They made the checkout process as easy as possible for us , we would definitely come back again and we strongly suggest if you have a large family or a group of family and friends to book this location, you would not be disappointed. Since we moved to Massachusetts last year from Gatlinburg we don't get as much time with family as we used to. We decided to rent a cabin back in the beautiful Great Smoky Mountains and have our family come meet us. It had absolutely everything you need! Plenty of space, a hot tub, beautiful views, and plenty to keep the whole family occupied! We are already looking into our next trip!

We had a blast here it was everything and more then I expected. The kids had so much fun with all the activities. It was a home away from home. Absolutely beautiful view peacefulness. We will definitely be back many more times.

For the first time since my dad passed in 2018 my siblings, our kids and my mom finally had some time to restart our family vacations and this property was perfect. It was immaculate, quiet, well stocked and had lots of fun for everyone. We only had two small issues-the master bathroom on the right side would not allow the shower to turn all the way to hot so only lukewarm showers in that shower and the gas logs did not work but the heater did so we did just fine. Hopefully we can stay here again sometime.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Dancing Bear. The home is beautiful and the location between Bryson City and Sylva was perfect. A great time had by all.

We usually camp on our annual rafting trip at Nantahala River. Due to weather forecast we decided to search for a cabin that could fit our big group. We were so lucky to find this property. Beautiful views, awesome furnishings and amenities, and a top not host made this stay complete.
