Our family had a wonderful stay in Firefly Cottage. We found the beds to be comfortable and the photos are accurate to the home. The front porch was great for dropping off sandy items to keep from dragging sand in the home. The back porch was a favorite spot to relax each morning while drinking coffee. The home is on the fifth hole about where the average golfer lands their drive. We enjoyed watching the hunt for golf balls. We had four adults and found the home to have plenty of space for the four of us. We could walk to the Marina but the beach was a little too far carrying beach items. They have a good selection of card games, puzzles, kid books and kid games in the home too.

This was a great rental for our family of four. Since it was off-season we got the unit at a great price and let our teenage daughters have their own room but this unit could be comfortable for up to 6 people. The third bedroom is up a spiral set of stairs. So, it wouldn’t be suitable for people that cannot climb steep stairs. We really enjoyed the peacefulness and the large screened in porch on the golf course. Everything is in good working condition, the kitchen is well stocked with newer pots and pans and the bedrooms are good sized. The speedy internet service is appreciated for after sundown movies. When we return to Edisto, we’ll definitely consider this rental unit. The only downside is the ocean side of the beach would be quite a walk. Though the sound facing beach would definitely be walkable.

I spent a month at Firefly Cottage. Very nice home for my winter getaway! Loved the open floor plan with plenty of room inside and out for dining and relaxing. Beds were comfortable. Nicely stocked kitchen and cooked often throughout my stay. Loved that there are two screened porches. Very quiet neighborhood and everyone we encountered was very friendly! Restaurants and beach accesses are a short drive away - just minutes. This was my first time staying at Edisto Beach and looking forward to returning!

Great location! Great accommodation for our family + pet! Great weekend getaway overall! Beds were awesome, everyone slept well. Neighborhood was quiet and beautiful with palms and live oaks, great for walking! Woodsy area also provides ample glimpses of wildlife- deer crossings and squirrel chases! My adult kids want us to come back!

My husband and I found this cottage met all of our needs. It is a little dated…bathrooms could use some updates…but we were comfortable. It’s dog friendly which is a huge plus for us. Quiet area great for walking the dog.

The house could use a refresh, somewhat dated. Master bathroom shower door will not fully close. Many doors stick and are hard to open. Kitchen has little storage. You need to bring in an exterminator as way too many bugs. Beds were comfortable. Quiet location, enjoyed watching the golfers.

The cottage was comfortable - except for the beds! Most furniture was fine; the cooking pans should all be replaced - non-stick coatings were scratched so the pans were unusable except for a set of nice stainless pots. Vacasa was prompt in responding to a few problems. The decks & steps need power washing.

Firefly cottage was everything I hoped it would be and more! Reasonably priced, quiet to offer plenty of moments for reflection, and close enough to go to the beach whenever I desired. I had some pretty amazing moments at this place! Thank you so much for providing all the amenities I needed to reflect on blessings brought to me in 2022 and to prepare me for the goals I shall accomplish in 2023! I could not have chosen a better place than firefly cottage for the special moments that were created!

Truly enjoyed our stay. Furnishings comfortable & in very nice condition. Vacasa staff easily accessible & answered questions quickly. Parking is a little tricky but overall we loved our stay & would choose Firefly Cottage for another stay.

Thanks for a relaxing few days for my first visit to Edisto. This property is a bit dated -- nothing fancy -- but still very comfortable.
Only "complaint" (that's not even really a compliant): Could never figure out how to access cable service from the TCL Roku system. Instructions left in the house/online may need to be updated. Current instructions are not accurate. Inputs could not be changed.
I'd consider a return visit to Firefly Cottage.

All of us were very comfortable and happy with Firefly Cottage. The back screened-in porch was delightful, especially for coffee n the morning. We ate most of our meals there. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was adequately equipped. The only negative is that more people have "found" Edisto. This was our 4th visit and it was a lot more crowded.

Well supplied but bring paper products. The two screen porches were great. The overhead fan on back porch didn’t worked but there was a fan to use in closet. Two bedrooms were great. Third bedroom in loft was a little difficult to deal with the stairs going up to it. Kitchen and coffee maker was great. Nice laundry room with small washer and dryer. Had a great time at firefly cottage.

First trip to Edisto. Won’t be the last.
A 5 day trip to Edisto for my wife and I and our dog Sammy. This was our first trip to Edisto beach, which is why we made it a relatively short trip. We wanted a small house that was dog friendly, and were happy to find the firefly cottage. It was perfect. The firefly Cottage was great - loved the front & back screened in porches. The area around the cottage is beautiful- old growth oaks makes you know you are in the Deep South. Edisto Beach is great - you can just feel the stress slip away in this quaint, small beach town. If you are “over Florida” like many of us, give this a try.

Delighted with my short stay (wish it was longer!). Easily reported a couple of minor maintenance issues so your stay can be even better! I especially enjoyed the artwork and relaxing on the back porch facing west during late afternoons,.

Another delightful stay at Firefly Cottage on Edisto
This cozy cottage with all you'll need plus two great screen porches is a wonderful place to spend time as a couple or with friends joining in. Easy cycling or walking to the beach; great neighborhood for a morning power walk; entertaining to watch golfers miss the fairway into the creek! Of course, there's always playing golf, too. Great food down the road at Ella + Ollie's and lastly, you can have your dog with you. Perfect!

Loved our stay!
Went for walks and bike rides, enjoyed time with our sons and 14 y/o granddaughter. Really missed having a golf cart to ride down to ocean on (cars got really sandy) house was beautiful! So nicely decorated! No outlet beside master bed to plug phones up at night is probably my only complaint. Jets in master bath didn’t work but really it was ok just enjoyed soaking in tub! Loved the porches’ very relaxing few days!

Housekeeping
The cottage was okay the only problem for us was that the house had not had a real cleaning in quit a while and really needs one. I speak from experience I had a house cleaning service for 12 years at a beach area with clients who wanted clean and they got it. This cottage was very dirty!!

Great place, location perfect
We loved our serene setting on the golf course, with a short bike trail ride to the beach. The house had plenty of nice dishes and supplies to get you cooking if you want to. The setup of the house was perfect for us and the 2 screened porches were heavenly. Cathie was super responsive to any needs we had. We would definitely go back to this same house.

Wonderful property at beautiful Edisto
We had a great time at Edisto beach and really enjoyed this property. Well outfitted and perfectly located to allow for easy access to the Wyndham amenities which we could use as we also had a timeshare place for the same time period. I would recommend the property to anyone, although the owner's cleaning folks seemed to think we didn't do a sufficient job cleaning up before we left. We felt we did what was expected, and didn't like ending on a negative note, but despite all that I would recommend the place to anyone as Edisto is lovely and this property is excellent.
