This was a perfect getaway spot! The pictures don’t do it justice. So cutely decorated with everything thoughtfully, arranged for a perfect cabin experience. We loved using the fire pit and heard the famous hoot owls while making smores. It was a delightful trip. Just enough space from Eureka Springs to really feel like your out in the middle of nowhere but a quick 15 minute drive into town.

Stayed here with my two grown boys. Had a nice and quiet experience. Would recommend for any age.

Absolutely LOVED this cabin! My boyfriend and I wanted an extended weekend just to get away for a while and have a nice, peaceful place in the woods to call home for the weekend. Well we found what we were looking for at Hoot Owl! We saw deer, heard a couple owls hooting at each other at night, I went ziplining for the first time (went to Ozark Mountain Ziplining which I 0 recommend), we just had an all around blast! Now for the cabin; absolutely beautiful! Such cute style too. Couldn’t get over the fire place either, VERY nice to have the first night since we had snow! Loved sitting outside around the fire pit stargazing as well. We had a great time, would absolutely book again! Thank you so much Matt and Diane!!

This is a charming little cabin in the woods. It has a complete kitchen, which I like, because we always prepare breakfasts where we are staying. It is clean and well decorated and very cozy. We had some problems understanding the Roku TV, but the owner was very responsive and attentive to helping us get it set up. The only room for improvement would be to make more of an effort to make guests feel less like “paying customers”. We have stayed in several VRBO’s and without exception, there have always been complimentary bottled water and snacks to greet us. Of course it is not necessary, but it has always made us feel like we are welcome and valued. In addition, there have always been guest books at the other VRBO’s we rented and we missed seeing one at the Hoot Owl cabin. It is always fun to read about other traveler's experiences.

Nice hosts quick to respond. Very nice cabin closer to the main road and other properties than I expected but still felt secluded. Soft beds, loved the fireplace. Great water pressure except for the shower and the jacuzzi didn't work or I just didn't know how to work it lol Overall would recommend staying here.

We loved our stay at The Hoot Owl cabin! It was the rest and recharge we needed. The cabin was cozy and inviting and we were sad to leave. The owners were easy to communicate with and quick to respond! If you’re needing a nice getaway this is the place to go.

Just saying "Great Place" or "Wonderful Time" does not adequately describe our time here. It is a beautiful, serene property with so much to offer. The trees, the wildlife, and of course the cozy cabin make for an unforgettable stay. Our hosts really care about this property and were very attentive to our questions. We will definitely be back - and not soon enough!

We had an incredible stay. The cabin is beautiful and it’s lovely outside seating was very relaxing. Short drive to eureka springs on a scenic road. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and my wife said we’d definitely be looking to come back!

We were very comfortable in this little cabin. We especially loved catching fireflies around the house in the evening and listening to the summer insect sounds at night. As others have noted, the big bed is incredibly comfortable and my six-year-old son enjoyed the little add-on bedroom in the back. The place felt further from Eureka Springs than advertised, but that was probably because of road construction that narrowed the road to one lane of traffic in two spots before getting there. That construction was, of course, only temporary. We highly recommend popping up across the border into Missouri and visiting Roaring River State Park. There's a grocery store along the way that we thought was more convenient. Overall, a well-priced retreat!

The cabin is beautiful and in excellent condition. Far enough from things to feel as if you are remote but close enough to all the attractions to enjoy your stay. Would highly recommend.

We loved this little cabin! It was in a great location not too far from downtown Eureka Springs and Beaver Lake. Dog friendly which is a huge plus. Of all the places we've stayed near Eureka Springs, this was our favorite. We will definitely be back!

Our little family of 3 had a FANTASTIC time at this little oasis! Just a short drive from town and such a perfect place to explore and relax.

Great location close to all the attractions in Eureka Springs but the cabin still feels very secluded. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. The cabin was very clean and beautifully decorated. Great overall experience!

This cabin was everything the listing said it was! Great location, secluded and all the comforts of home. There are other cabins on the property, but you would never know it. The gas long fireplace was an added bonus and we enjoyed having it with the chill that was in the air. My only advice - bring a truck. It would not have been possible to drive my car to the cabin off the main highway.

Great cabin to stay at for a weekend getaway.

If your looking for a place that is off the beaten path but close enough to make the short scenic drive, then this is your place. We just wanted a place for a little r&r, this place delivers. Bedding and amenities were a definite bonus, no cheap hotel sheets or pillows. Will return in the summer months to enjoy the surrounding lake activities.
