The family that run the hotel are so welcoming, friendly and helpful, the location is great and the facilities are amazing. The rooms are large and spacious and the beds are huge, and so comfortable.

The Gem is ideally located for a few days in Amiens, the heart of the city centre is all within easy walking distance. We didn't need the car during our stay so having free parking at the end of the road was really helpful. Recommendations for dinner options were spot-on and really good bread, croissants, coffee and juice for breakfast. The room was spacious, comfortable and peaceful. This was a much better option than similarly priced chain hotels.

A room with such high fare you could expect, windows that you can open. That's not the case. Location of the dwelling is near some old garage that make me feel in an horror movie. But the worst thing i ever face is that the host didn't spend time to say goodbye. It was fast to pay when you arrive, then you can dissapear. A poor dog that bark on you when you wake up make me nervous. I was scare to wake up the other guest. Master was not eager to stop the barking. An expensive stay with a poor experience. Not to be recommended, and i have done more than 100 b&b in m'y life, with such fare and far more better welcome and goodbye.
