Centrally located for walking the downtown. Great beds. Very few options for breakfast.

Amazing stay! Facilities were clean and staff was excellent. Can’t wait to stay there again and upgrade to a bigger room. 5 minute walk to most tourist spots on the Riverwalk. I enjoyed the location.

Lovely experience overall. The only option for parking was valet, which worked great for us, however a heads up for those thinking they can street park. So much construction work, and blocked roads, and Alamo is under huge construction as well. Super close walking distance to everything, great music, great food and lovely facility. I would definitely recommend 👌

Honestly the best hotel experience I’ve ever had! We have attempted a stay at the Crocket previously but there was a family emergency so we had to leave early. So glad we got to do it for our honeymoon! 10/10 will stay here again. Beautiful hotel and amazing customer service!

Overnight stay close to Alamo & River walk.

Very comfortable and great location

We had no issue with cleanliness of room. The only criticism is the small, inconvenient bathroom. And the valet service is iffy. In theory, the procedure of sending a text so the car can easily be retrieved by text, is good. But we never got the text so we had to chase the car down when we wanted to leave.

I recently stayed at the David Crocket hotel in Downtown San Antonio and was extremely disappointed with my experience. The noise level in the room at 5AM was unbearable, measuring at 58 decibels due to the HVAC running constantly. The noise only worsened when the unit in the adjacent room kicked in, making it impossible for me to sleep. It felt like I was sharing a room with the HVAC system itself. To add to the frustration, I suspect that the reason we were placed in this noisy room is because I prepaid and booked through hotels.com. The lack of consideration for guests' comfort and the inability to provide a peaceful environment for rest is unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber. I would not recommend the David Crocket hotel to anyone looking for a good night's sleep or a relaxing stay. The noise levels are disruptive, and the quality of rest you expect from a hotel is simply not met. It's disappointing to have had such a negative experience at what was supposed to be a reputable establishment. ---

This is a great location in the center of everything in downtown San Antonio. Just behind the Alamo, and walking distance to the Riverwalk. The room was small and comfortable, the A/C worked very well which was good since it was SO hot outside! The property has an onsite restaurant (did not use) and a morning coffee shop which we did use. The valet parking seems to work well and not too long waiting on my vehicle. Would stay here again.

A perfect position for exploring San Antonio. Wow factor when you enter the lobby. Room overlooking The Alamo gardens( currently undergoing a huge renovation of the gardens). Room large, bathroom huge, very clean. Crockett Tavern has a good choice of food and generous portions. Pool outside - across from the reception....OK in size and generally well shaded by the trees.

It was a great experience. A very clean room with all the amenities you would expect, refrigerator, coffee maker, very comfortable bed and spacious room.

Ate at the restaurant/bar several times. Food was good but drinks too a long time to get out. we had to leave before a drink. Rooms and hotel were great!

I was told there would be a complimentary breakfast with the stay and then I get an email the day of our arrival telling me that was no longer offered. For the amount that we spent on that room it definitely should've been offered! The hotel is old and needs renovations, the rooms are small and not user friendly, no place to sit anything in the bathroom only a tiny ledge above the free standing sink. I was thoroughly impressed!

I am beyond satisfied with the Crockett hotel. The check in was easy, the restaurant and bar was perfect. It’s a really nice hotel, the room was nice and cold. I will stay here for all our San Antonio trips. It’s a really nice hotel.

The staff was super friendly. There were breakfast and dining choices inside the hotel. When requested, room was cleaned and filled with necessary toiletries. Will be back!

Great Historical Hotel, I could’ve swore I saw a ghost sitting at the end of my bed in the middle of the night?!?! My daughter & I had a wonderful time!!

Location was perfect, but lots of construction. Lobby was beautiful, restaurant was very good, staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and comfortable but ugly. Need more than just fresh paint and carpets. Breakfast not included and restaurant not open for breakfast. The purchase options are very limited. I would have loved to have fresh fruit available.

The hotel is historical. The room was small, a few hiccups with the room (smell) and TV. But the employees are very nice and accommodating. It's nice to have valet parking. It's close to Alamo and Riverwalk. Overall good trip.

The room was cozy and clean but the AC was very noisy. It was distracting while trying to sleep. The valet attendant was less than friendly. The front desk were not as welcoming during check in and check out. The housekeeping staff were friendly and greeted you in the hallway. Overall it is in a great location and the hotel is historically a gem.

The Crockett Hotel is a good hotel in downtown San Antonio, Texas. It is near the Alamo and the Riverwalk and all the amenities that San Antonio has to offer. The valet parking is high, but they did give me a discount to park my car overnight. Staff assisted me in locating a nearby bicycle repair shop. The pool was under repair, but staff directed me across the street to a sister hotel which had a lovely pool. I have stayed at this hotel before and will do so again.
