Perfect for our needs

The hotel was fine although I do not like the refillable soap/shampoo/body wash, etc dispensers. It seems that someone could put something in them that they shouldn’t. The main problem/issue was the parking. There was not enough and one of the evenings we circled the lot for 10 minutes looking for a spot. We had to parking in a garage of another hotel which was incredibly irritating.

Good location and easy to go to Palo Alto downtown by walk.

All of a sudden water shut down, had a tough time with toilet flushing

The front desk staff knew that I had just gotten off a long-distance flight and was very tired, so they were very friendly and patiently helped me check into the room as early as possible so that I could rest in time and feel like I was home.

After a long day on the road we were so happy to land at the Sheraton Palo Alto. It was me and my wife with our 11 year old dog. They were very accomodating, even giving us a free room upgrade so we had more space. Hotel rooms were immaculate, the bed and bedding were excellent and the staff were top notch. If we find ourselves in Palo Alto again we will be staying for sure.

Staff were excellent in helping us navigate our brief stay. Grounds were beautiful. Very impressed. Highly recommend this hotel.

There was a heavy sent of cleaning product when we got to the room.

All the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The shower was a big hit. Location was perfect for short walk to Stanford, Cal Train, restaurants and shopping. Will definitely stay here again.

During our stay, we had an incident where we thought someone was trying to enter our room cause we heard the door shut. We immediately reported it to the front desk. The hotel staff took our complaint very seriously and began investigating right away. They kept us informed throughout the process, providing regular updates on their progress. To ensure our safety and peace of mind, they promptly offered to switch our room. The hotel checked the smart door access records. They discovered that the door hadn't been completely shut, causing it to eventually close on its own. Despite the situation being a misunderstanding, the staff's thorough investigation and detailed explanations were very reassuring. We were very impressed with the hotel's commitment to guest safety and their professional handling of the situation. Their prompt response and dedication to resolving our concerns were exceptional. We highly recommend this hotel for their excellent customer service and attention to detail.

This was a wonderful option for Stanford graduation. They were absolutely accommodating in every way.

This hotel was nice looking, but it was poorly laid out and it was very difficult for me to find my room. After being there for three days, I finally figured it out. THE WATER WAS UNDRINKABLE in the room. I didn't even make coffee with it. The rest of the place was okay. Breakfast by the pool was nice.

convenience to Stanford University where I had my conference, but the property is a bit dark and crowded.

Service

The room is somewhat clean, but the bathroom is newly renovated. I asked bath robe but they did not bring it until the next day after I called them again. The call to guest service was busy all the time. I got the room the that is very far which is a little bit inconvenient.

Nice place and good front desk service. The women talking loudly at 3 am by the pool and the kids yelling in the pool at 7:45 am pretty much ruined our sleep. We could also hear doors slamming closed (on self closing mechanisms) throughout the night.

Very good deal for rooms considering pool and restaruant. Layout very pleasant.

The only thing that we didn’t like was that the toilet was so close to the ground. I am not really tall and it bothered me but my husband is 6”4 and it was really hard on him. Otherwise everything was fine the staff was very friendly and the property was great. Just need higher toilets.

I loved all of the staff from meeting coordinator to front desk to bellhop. Everyone was great and nice and helpful. I felt really comfortable.
