The check in lady was so sweet, and the room was very nice for an aging property. Our only real issue was that the dog park area was not well kept - there was damage to part of the fence and people didn't clean up after their pups, so it wasn't safe to turn our puppy loose or play with her off leash.

Definitely is a good option, hotel is old but very clean. Front desk personnel very friendly. Breakfast was fine. Location is walking distance of the main street and restaurants.

Bed was worn out and noisy, toilet leaks on the tub side, door doesn't seal, you can see daylight all around it.

Over the hotel was great. The staff is friendly and the location is unbelievable. Its right in the middle of a huge shopping area with plenty of food options. The hotel is mostly clean with minor stains on the carpets, towels, and bedding.

Was close to downtown area where the best German food and cold beverages were located. Staff was great and breakfast was ok.

Service is always good. The ladies that work there are always so nice. The mattress should be replaced it sunk in the middle, shower took 10 min to get hot water. Breakfast could have been better. But other than those things, pretty good stay.

Mattress needs to be flipped once in awhile. Blinds in windows so lamps outside don’t shine in during the night

Short on staff, somewhat friendly. Don't eat the free breakfast. Also don't it at Dotties Kitchen. The whole town of Helen now charges a privilege taxe if you use a credit card, it's an extra 3.75%. If you use cash they drop it except for the Alpine Pizza with still charged it even when I paid in cash. Also parking is $10 in most of the town except where there is a park outside of the main drag.

this is not what we payed for. there was roaches it was unclean. the tub was dirty when we tried using it and there was water leaking everywhere from the air conditioner and i mean a whole puddle. just not good and no good staff either. total waste of money.

I understand dog friendly and appreciate that because I have a dog that stays inside but it shouldn't smell like a dog. Also
Shouldn't have enough poison (flea killer) next to the bed to choke you. Had to move the wife to the grandsons bed.
On accommodations the toilet had a child's seat and the whole toilet moved when I sat each time. Ring around the tub. Handle to tun squealed loudly each time it was turned. With all of this you would think it would be enough but then a tenant moved in above and had a child running back and forth across the room to midnight. Ordinarily this would be a muffled sound but not here. You can go and try for yourself but it wouldn't be advisable.

The pictures do not do this place dose not look like pictures on the web . Took 3 times to get a good room . No breakfast bar . To speak of . Took the cream cheese out and was yellow from sitting there for so long . Pool was filthy. Must we say more.

Check in was great...loved Randy! Felt safe. Rooms do not get daily cleaning which for me wasn't a problem...just wish I was told that in advance. The room could have been cleaner. Foind blonde hair in my bed...mine is black. Breakfast was from 6-9am. Pancakes, bagels, yogurt , orange juice, coffee...etc. parking was easy. Has an outdoor pool.

Our deadbolt would not lock. Our hair dryer had a short In the cord. Our bed didn’t sleep well.They only had bagels and cereal for breakfast the pancake machine was broken, drink machine was broken.

Location wise, this motel is excellent! It's at the top of the hill and on the strip.
Nobody is at the desk if you want to check in early. There is a note on the door that check in is at 4pm.
Room is old and outdated. The bed was ok. It only had a fitted sheet, a flat sheet and a blanket unlike other places where there were bed protectors and such . Towels were thin and old, like you know it's cheap and been used ALOT. Sink was dirty. As soon as I walked in I noticed gnats in the room and that was annoying. I can't stand them. The fridge was dirty and wasn't clean. Breakfast is a joke. So the only good thing is the location!

It was clean, the water pressure in the shower was perfect, probably one of the best hotel shower experiences I’ve had and I travel often. The flooring could have been cleaner, but for the price and convenience of the location, we didn’t care.

everything else was pleasent other than pancake machine was broken - i wish there was NO breakfast option so that we could have booked some other hotel waith better breakfast - and shampoo & body wash dispensaries were empty - not sure how the house cleaning works.

We checked in for a couples trip. The floors were dirty, towels had stains on them, sheets didn’t fit the bed, vending machines were empty.

This was out 3rd stay here and would stay again, the only reason for 4 stars and not 5 was people above us continued making noice throughout the night, like jumping, running, moving furniture etc. When I mentioned it to the desk person she mentioned she knew of whom I spoke and only said that they were leaving the next morning but never offered to ask them stop whatever they were doing. Other than that it was great.

Room was supposed to be non smoking but people were smoking in the walkway with room doors open. Room was sprayed with air freshener which didn’t help, mattress are worn out. Found mosquitos and flies in the room. Nobody at front desk in morning. Will not stay here again.

This property needs remodeling, very old. Continental breakfast does not exist as advertised, just coffee and toast. Really bad.

We stayed in room 102 and the bed was very low and felt the springs. And we had no hot water. A year ago we stayed there on the other end and everything in that room was great

Did not like. Paint interior done by child. Flooring poorly done with gaps. Toilet paper dispenser falls out of wall. Sheets don’t fit bed. Bathroom sink splashes water everywhere. Front door locks but air gaps around entire frame. No security latch. Ice machine room nasty dirty.

It is an older property with friendly staff and is dog-friendly. The room was clean and reasonably spacious. The bed was adequate but not the most comfortable, the shower never got more than "just warm," and the walls were very thin with lots of muffled chatter.
It was one of the more economical properties in town that was pet-friendly.

Bed bugs in one of ours rooms, only 1 towel for 2 people, room keys constantly not working for BOTH rooms. People partying/sus possible prostitution in room next to us? Do not recommend.
