So, we basically wanted a place with no bed bugs to sleep for one night. Here are the good things: the town is cute and hiatoric looking, the sheets and towels were clean and almoat had the "brand new" texture amd creases in them. I saw some complaints liated for their beds being too soft, but I loved them amd thought they were very comfy. The bad and weird: I reserved their Pet Friendly room, and it was even printed on the receipt, upon check in, the guy made it clear that there was a pet fee (not an issie, I assumed there would be one). He said cash only. Okay, so I said we would be right back and needed to stop at an atm. He started getting a bit weird and disnt want to let me leave to go get the required pet fee and even told me that i did NOT book the pet Friendly room (he waved his hand in the air when i showed him the receipt). He then takes me out side and shows me the atm that he wants us to use (we did not and went to a different place to get his cash after he finally let me leave.). We ended up in the room that had the large mouse sized hole at the bottom that day light was shining through, and mold on the ceiling of the bathroom. When it was time to check out the next morning, there was no one in the office (rang the bell and waited for ever) so i tossed the keys with a note on a napkin through their window so we could make it to our next stop on time. If you go here with a pet, he says they have a 20 lb weight limit and bring CASH for the fee.

I would recommend anyone to stay here, the staff and motel is very nice, clean and friendly with the guests making sure that we are taken care of. I have nothing in the negative to state it is all positive. thanks for allowing us to be part of your family.

Great place to stay

I knew it was gonna be a cheap motel type place and thought it can’t be that bad cuz the pictures online make it def look better than it is. Maybe other rooms besides the one we got are better but my personal opinion is that place needs completely cleared out and deep cleaned. Several repairs in our room were imperative including the plumbing fixtures. I feel that all linens need thrown out and replaced including sheets, mattress covers, comforter, curtains and def the shower curtain. It was very dusty and hard to breathe plus the musty smell of the “clean” sheets and towels lingered on our clothes and other belongings. The man was very friendly and has exceptional customer service that I think he would excel running an embassy suites. You can tell he’s a proud owner and maybe he’s holding on to that business due to a personal attachment but if I were him, I would sell that property and get the hell out of there! Unless he can provide funds or get a loan for a complete gutted deep clean and replace everything including the washer that supposedly laundered the linens. The air quality needs improved as a number one priority as there was def mold on the ceiling and I’m sure the furnace filters need replaced. Also, a professional housekeeper should be hired to replace the current who only cleaned the surfaces and left garbage and food crumbs under every piece of furniture. I wish that man well and hope he decides to sell that dump and start fresh somewhere cuz he deserves better!

I've stayed in a lot of hotels. This was the worst. Had to leave because of how bad it was. Zero stars. Travelers beware.

Room smelled like cigarettes the floor was sticky and gross shower had black mold all around absolutely disgusting

Very grimey room, i could tell that the floors hadnt been mopped in a while or that any surface except for the table and bathroom counter hadnt been wiped off. I was worried that the shower walls were going to peel off the dry wall they were bulging so bad. I kept getting woken up by housekeeping so i asked the front desk for a do not disturb sign and was told there werent any. I asked the desk man to tell housekeeping to not clean my room the next morning and of course got woken up. I knew what the deal was going to be when i saw the hotel from the street, just didnt think it was going to be so grimey inside.

I have a service dog with me at all times. I informed the front desk. I was charged a $20 cash pet fee. I’ve never been charged for my service dog, but it was only $20. Other than that, quiet , friendly, fridge, microwave, and very nice stafff.

Clean room, soft bright white sheets, good hot water—it was all I needed

You get what you pay for. This hotel was extremely dirty and run down. The nail in the coffin was seeing a cockroach run across the floor as I was preparing to check out. Travelers beware!

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Mold in the shower. Floors had piles of dirt in the corners. Beds were so uncomfortable and sheets were so stained. I’ll be asking for a refund

is a nice place to stay

Floors were nasty we couldn’t take our shoes off. They never gave us fresh towels and had to replace the tv 2 times. It smelled horrible. Stains on all the linens. Needs new curtains.

Staff was great and friendly. It gives you everything you need no frills and nonsense. Clean rooms and clean beds. Good stay.

The manager was friendly but the room was in bad shape. We won’t be back. We found old smoked weed, wasn’t cleaned before we arrived. The ceiling and walls are falling apart. The water didn’t get hot to bower.

I would not recommend this hotel. It was the worse one I’ve ever stayed in. I got there at midnight. The room reaked of smoke, cats, liter on the floor. The bed was sleeping on hard springs. The shower nozzle pulled off the wall. Just truly disgusted.

Really nice modern room. I was surprised by how nice the room looked. The floors could use a wet mop - my feet were black after walking around without shoes. Overall though, the room and stay were pretty nice! One thing that surprised me - when I booked the room, there were options for pet friendly or non-pet friendly rooms. If they’re divided out that way, I’d have preferred the property be forthcoming about the $20/pet charge. I was traveling with my dog and the charge wasn’t a big deal but it was unexpected. I guess they may need to count up the number of pets to come up with the charge, but if the pet charge was included in the listing when I booked, I missed it.

The room was dirty counters and floor were sticky. Bed was way too soft and the cockroaches as well as being charged extra.

I booked our stay back in March and called to confirm the reservation three days before we arrived. The front desk was able to look up my reservation via my phone number and confirmed we were good. We arrive there and find they have canceled my reservation because I accidentally had my old credit card on file with them and it wouldn’t go through. They claimed they had no phone number to get ahold of me to get a different payment method despite looking up my reservation using my phone number a few days ago. We had to make another reservation with them now at $120 per night instead of the $89. The room had the flattest pillows ever and two of the lamps didn’t work. They also didn’t have a tv remote in the room and were unable to locate one for us. Overal it would have been worth it for the cheaper price but with the price hike it was not a good stay. I will never book with them again due to them canceling the reservation without making an effort to get ahold of me first

Very exceptional place. First place I stayed in that had a nice sized flat screen tv and no busted up furniture I would stay there again when I go to the area. Staff super great

I liked the historical buildings around it. It was quiet while I was there. I saw homeless people across the street which makes me sad.
