Wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Mykonos, hotel is amazing, beach is too…. The staff are super friendly and can’t do enough for the guests.

problems with checking in and being downgraded a room category without even being told about. Eventually managed to check in to the correct room category which still had dirty glasses in the room.
the cleaning of the room on a daily basis was really poor with often dirty dishes and glasses just being left behind. people knocking on the door and trying to come when there is a do not disturb sign (which was missing from the room in the first place and had to request one). all in all not the right level of service from a five star hotel

Hotel and staff very nice but no spoone in the room for coffee when put sugar in. Our ferry got cancel we need to exchange new ticket but staff told us can used same ticket Goof thing we call and right away go exchange new ferry ticket

WORST hotel staff for a 5 star hotel. Do not recommend if you’re looking for the utmost standard in luxury hotels especially from someone who travels several times per month. Better off staying in a villa and hiring your own staff.

Second stay in 3 weeks . Had gone to Menorca, but weather was bad so bailed out and high tailed it back to Santana M .
The room was not as nice (small ) as first time and had bit of a persistent musty smell (air con filter?). Otherwise lying by pool, looking down on beach and up to hotel and stunning blue sky beyond was just marvellous. Ate at Buddha Bar . Certainly as good as any restaurant on the island . Expresso Martinis there definitely the best . Saturday night turned out to be Party Night . Great music . Great crowd . Great fun.

The Santa Marina offers a perfect place to relax and recharge. The rooms are beautiful and clean with great views over the bay.
The gym is well equipped for those that wish to use it.
The Bhuddha bar is a great place to eat at night and during the day is a lovely beach restaurant. The beach bar staff are very friendly as well as the reception staff.

If you want to be removed from the hustle and bustle of the island, have some quite solitude on a private beach and feel a bit indulgent, then its perfect. My husband and I, though, prefer to feel a bit more connected to the local scene than the Santa Marina allows. One must take a taxi or the hotel shuttle into town, or to the popular beaches. The restaurant on site, the Buddha Bar, is high quality and absolutely delicious, but its very expensive. A short walk will get you to dinner at great eateries that cost a lot less.

This Starwood luxury property is a modern oasis in Mykonos. Being in the town of Ornos, a 10 minute drive from the great shopping and splendor of old town, makes this property quiet and an oasis from the chaos of the masses. The property is about a half hour walk to the old town - not recommended due to dangerous streets (narrow, crazy drivers, twisty turns, no sidewalks, etc.). Th eproperty has two nice pools and a private sea-side beach. Also a Buddha Bar associated with the one in Paris - but quite tame and closes for the winter in late September. Very nice breakfast buffet. Free wifi, but poor bandwidth in the rooms.

good service, amazing breakfast included. location was a little out of the way as it was on the end of the island, but there was a free shuttle to town, easy access to the water taxi to access nearby beaches, and plenty of bus service, and the private beach was very much worth the location. Staff was very friendly, restaurants all very good, and bar tended Alex was amazing, she took great care of us!

My daughter and I stayed here for 3 nights and had a wonderful stay. Wold not change a thing. Picked us up at airport, had a lovely sunset dinner by the sea and the beauty continued. Beautiful private beach, amenities and so very peaceful. Wonderful buffet brunch each morning overlooking the sea. Will stay again next visit which will,probably be next year.

Upon check-in, we were served a delightful welcome cocktail and were told that we had been upgraded to a nicer room. The room was comfortable, clean and well decorated. The private patio was quite large with a beautiful water view. The staff were attentive and the breakfast served each morning was beyond expectations. The service on the beach was lacking (we had to go up to the bar instead of being served on the beach loungers) but it was the end of the season and they only had one person working so we didn't mind. There were not enough people at the beach to need two people.

Wonderful hotel in almost every way, and only private beach in Mykonos. Couple of warnings: 1) if you dislike stairs, there are a lot to get to the beach. 2) Semi-frequent bus service to Mykonos Town (but you can get cheap taxis). Ornos is nice but small. Nonetheless, definately recommend.

While we loved the location and hotel itself, the service was WAY below marginal. We had to beg to get drinks by the pool and other than a couple of instances when we were at a restaurant everything took 3 times longer than it should have to get food or drink.
While I think the hotel is a nice place to stay, they could get rid of half their staff if they just had 5 people actually working hard around there -- probably would be able to drive the price of stay down too.

Just remember this hotel is built on a hillside, and if you want ocean views you need to be on a hill side and yes there are stairs you must climb to get you from point a to point b.
The private beach at the resort has finer sand than Paradise (which was very coarse). The private beach was situated such that it blocked most of the winds but not all, which was just fine.
The included breakfast buffet was more than adequate to get you through the day. The Air conditioning and internet were a bonus.
There are no pay phones, so you'll need to pay the minute fee if you plan on using your calling card.
Ornos bay is just 3 blocks down the hil, an easy walk for lunch or dinner or to get the bus. However, I would recomend paying for a taxi 10euro to Mykonos town, or 14euro to paradise.

Nice setting with very nice rooms. Beds are very hard and for a high end hotel they need to upgrade to better beds. The front desk service is Greek (abrasive at times). Guest from America who needed help booking ferry service didn't get any and when asked questions, we felt like we were bothering them. The shuttle service to the town needs to be expaneded to more than twice a day because the taxi service in the town is not very good (1 - 1 1/2 hours wait at the taxi stand). The pools are kept clean. The lawn needed mowing. The beach was also clean. Breakfast was good but day to day same thing, without much new item. The spa service was good. They did not have an water activities (such as rental kayaks, it sure looked good place to kayak). We may go back if the beds are fixed.
