The front desk staff was rude, disrespectful and intentionally charged my card for a reservation I said I didn't want to keep. She escalated the situation after I became frustrated, lied MULTIPLE times then refused to provide me with the general managers contact information. We ultimately had a physical fist fight in the lobby of the hotel. The room I was given had a filthy bathroom with molded grout in the shower, it had a strong foul odor when you walked in and a sliding door entrance from a courtyard that DID NOT HAVE A LOCK. Only a metal bar!! 1 of the worst experiences of my life!!

The person that checked us in which was a woman just didn’t get her name. The gentleman that checked us out was wonderful. Very friendly, polite and professional. My family and I will definitely come back for a personal trip this time.

I did not like that there was a $125 room incidentals fee. That is high and not everyone has a lot of money to have that $125 tied up for 3-5 days

Checkin went smooth and quick, no waiting. Later we had a power outage. The young lady on the front desk was calm and reassuring. Partial power came back on later. In the morning the lady on the checkin counter was exceptionally nice as she apologized for not having a warm breakfast available. An unfortunate situation handled with care. Well done!

Check-in was wonderful. The staff was very polite. It was very quick when I got to the room. The carpet was really dirty and smelled really funky. Thank God breakfast came with our stay otherwise it was $15.99 per person which was not worth it. Most of the breakfast was undercooked besides the bagels you can toast those yourself and cereal. Everything else that had to be cooked was undercooked. The pool area was clean safe. The bar was wonderful. The staff that was working at the bar was very polite, even though she was working by herself, so we tipped her her very well because it was quite a few people there and it was just her, my party had three alone. So overall, I rated it a 3.5 out of 10 it needs some updates

Absolutely a beautiful place to stay; check in was convenient they were friendly, fast and gave so much information about the bar and the pool, when breakfast was and the buffet, I loved it the rooms are overly and I was lucky to get one with a balcony and enjoyed the evening sitting out for a bit and the fresh air I will definitely be back to this place when I am staying out in Novi.

Moved rooms twice- still mold all in the bathroom. Filthy rooms in general so make sure you pack your cleaning supplies. Ice machines (all of them) were out of order and the public restrooms by the pool were out of order. Breakfast is not included and is $15 if you want it so don’t fall for the false advertising. Will never stay again

Beds, shower, pool all very nice

The bed was amazing. As a mom of 4 fur babies, I enjoy spending some quality sleep time without them. This bed allowed me to do just that. Hotel itself is dated, I mean really dated and I would say unloved. But room was comfortable and bed was amazing. The bar is NOT opened daily. We stayed just under a week, and it was opened 2 times. Pool, again dated. Hotel staff, mheee. Have had better. I accidentally dumped granola on the floor by the bathroom, and picked up what I could. The floor was never cleaned, so everyday we stepped in granola. Our AC in bedroom didn’t work, so we turned the ac in living area down real low. It compensated, but we r from the south so the summer here is our fall. If u think 80s r hot the ac would not cut your standards. Enjoyed the tub, and bathroom had space for 2. Will definitely consider staying again, but it is dated. Could use some new carpet, parking, lighting and the front desk area looks cluttered and unattractive. Plus the bar needs consistent hours.

Just about everything in my room was broken. Terrible AC that would not shut off so I froze, window blinds that did not open, and running toilet that no matter how much you shook the handle it just ran all night. Next night I was moved to a "suite" as an apology and given access to their "vip" lounge and told they have the cool Keurig coffee maker up there. The lounge was literally an extended, open balcony on the third floor, tiny, the Kurig coffee machine was broken...it was laughable. My new and "improved" suite had a broken door, the blinds again did not open, the jacuzzi tub looked so filthy...just a terrible experience that got worse with each upgrade. Oh and there was literally water in the cheese bowl during breakfast from melted ice or something, eggs were runny, sausage had a funky taste and there was no silver ware. I was also given two free drinks for all this hassle but when I went to claim them it was for beer only, which I don't drink, and they would not let me switch it out for wine. Lordy, all their perks to make up for the poor condition just shined an even brighter light on how terrible this hotel was. WOW!

The pool closes early and you can hear everything from the hallway in your rooms, but the breakfast was nice and the staff was friendly.

The front desk staff was awesome, I had no problem checking in. The only issues I had was poor housekeeping and also the condition of the rooms provided. The rooms and also hallways need to be updated. The tubs in the rooms were stained. I was told by the manager that all of the tubs in each room were stained the same and that all of the countertops in each room had cup stains on the countertops. During check in I had to have my room switched due to the tub not being fully clean( hair and dirt in the tub, mildew on sink countertop. The microwave was dirty as well as spiderwebs in the window seal. During my stay the floor wasn’t vacuumed or moped. I am an former Executive Housekeeping Assistant of the Residence of Marriott and I feel this location hasn’t represented the Marriott standards.

The front desk staff is awesome. The hotel rooms need to be upgraded. The bath tubs in the rooms are all stained. Countertops are stained. Mildew around bathroom sinks. Hair and dirt in the tub. My room was changed due to this. The new room had black scuff marks on the walls. The counters have cup stains and the tub had the exact same black dirt stain as the first room booked. The parking lot has dog poop by the hotel entry, also the parking lot had debris such as rocks and part of the curb laying in a parking spot. Pot holes as well. I like the location of the hotel. I had to extend my stay for four more days and I was accommodated with no problem. My room was half cleaned ( the tub was not cleaned, floor wasn’t vacuumed). I didn’t want to complain anymore because I just wanted to enjoy my vacation.
