I found moldy spots in the ceiling of the bathroom and the heating/ac fan in my unit didn't work properly.

It was just ok. For the money I would have expected more then 2 coffee cups. Ice bucket and ice but no cups. I only received one complimentary coffee for downstairs.
Bed was hard. Not worth the money.

Was so excited to stay here. In chicago often. Never stayed in lincoln park. $400 nightly rate for Sunday. No fridge. Had to chase housekeeper to get couple paper cups. AC is window units. Absolutely nothing complimentary . Thought will take bath. Omg, tub completely chipping! No way was that cleaned recently. Hope i can share photos. Lead chipped paint? Customer service was combative. Even after hotel asked for rating. Same person contacted me
They are still combative to personal cell.
Crazy. Bed uncomfortable. Small window of lake had amazing view.
I tried to make right with hotel, but $410 room, $70 for parking, no drinking water/ fridge/leadfree chipped tub. Somethings.. you kind of e c oect in chicago at this price point. Seriously,
$500 total for a sunday? Stay in Gary instead of here if chicago is booked. Hoping i can share photos/video. Had more amenities at motel 6 on highway.

The in-room air conditioner was very loud, waking me up multiple times during the night as it turned back on with loud buzzing sounds.
It is also loud outside the window from the sirens, musclicians and other noises in the city.
1 of 2 elevators is old and slow, so I took the stairs most of the time.

Check in was 3pm we did not get into our room until almost 6pm. Staff was not helpful in anyway. Once we got to our lake view room the curtain was broken so we couldn’t even enjoy our view. Air conditioner was very dirty and falling apart.

They ran out of soap. Can you believe that? It’s true. It’s a Hyatt although the Hyatt name isn’t anywhere to be found on the property. I and two other guests were at the desk asking for soap because there was none in the room on our arrival. I have never rated hotel room before, but I felt compelled in this case because of the cost of the room was relatively high and the hotel is so old and run down. Can’t understand how this hotel has received positive ratings.

Like the property overall but expected to use the pullout sleeper as a bed. Bedding was missing. Improvised with extra blankets, but they weren’t clean.

Hotel Lincoln continues to pare down its offering and is all the worse for it. Barely there, and barely civil front desk staff, no amenities within the room (water bottles would be nice), and no clear information around when upstairs bar/restaurant is open. It was closed half the time I was there! No decent breakfast offerings or alternatives. Very disappointing

Parking was a mess, it took 45 minutes to find a spot out front and then get my car checked in. Parking is an additional $70/ night that I would have preferred to know the cost up front. Room was large, but a bit on the dirty side. Couch was suspect so we didn’t sit on it

Originally booked for lake view got there and they said they overbooked lake view rooms. Our room was then a fire exit view with a wet spot in the floor. Overall very disappointed with my stay. The check in desk and rooftop are the only things that were nice.

The staff were nice, hotel rooms are dated and with one elevator not working getting to your floor anytime after 3 was challenging. The biggest issue was not having a mini fridge and limited fliers to get ice on. The location was nice but overpriced when actually seeing the room and facilities.

It’s an old motel only had one elevator working and a 30 min wait for one. The ice machine was broke.

Overpriced. I was waiting to see why it was a 4star hotel. One elevator broken, the other malfunctioning. It barely fit 3 adults without luggage. Furniture not set in place after room cleanings. I was in an handicap room and the shower head (while removable) was high and awkwardly placed in a narrow shower. No fitted sheet on the bed - just a top sheet tucked under, so when I untucked my blanket, the bed immediately became unmade. I would never pay this much for this place again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Lincoln. It is across the street from Lincoln Park and lots of restaurants, bars and shopping in Old Town within walking distance. It is in a quiet neighborhood too! We plan on returning there next year!

We had a nice weekend stay at Hotel Lincoln and the rooftop views are very nice. We also enjoyed omakase at Sushi by Bou (great fish). The location is good with a farmer’s market in the park across the street on Saturday mornings.
The reason I didn’t rate it higher is because for the cost it needs some updates and maintenance. The elevators had a horrible moldy/trash smell all weekend and on the morning we left you could tell they just sprayed it with something to try to hide the smell (which it did not). We also stayed in 2 rooms during our stay (planned for logistical reasons) and the first room had broken curtains and a few other maintenance issues that should be addressed when you are charging almost $400 per night. We will probably stay elsewhere on return trips to Chicago.

My daughter had booked a junior suite with a pull out couch and was given a room with a chair. The hotel gave her a discount but we had to move into her smaller room and give her our suite so she had room for the children. There was no refrigerator when we arrived but they did deliver one. The safe stopped working after one day.

Room was way smaller than shown in picture online like cloister phobic small.
No sheet on the bed, it was just the top sheets and no comforter or head board on the bed.
Was turned away from rooftop bar for a private party so never got to enjoy that which is why i stayed so this was the biggest turnoff for me. It was mid day.
Bathroom was so small two people couldnt fit in it.
Overall not at all what i expected. Coulda stayed in much better place for same price elsewhere. We come every year for stick figure concert at salt shed and this has been the worst to date.

Check in was quick and easily completed. All staff was friendly. The room is small with limited room for moving around with more than one person. I know it is known for the history, however it could use some updating. Bathroom/Shower was tiny with poor water pressure. Need at least one mirror in the main room for multiple people in the same room (there were 2 of us and we kept getting in each other's way and could not do "bathroom" things at the same time.

The park view is beautiful but it's in a very busy part of the city. There was a lot of activity outside the hotel late into the night. The air conditioner covered it but only because that was also loud. But the hotel and staff are great.
