This hotel was disgusting! The mattress and box springs were sitting on the floor with a bedskirt between them. The bedskirt was filthy and ripped. The quilt on the bed was filthy. There was no Wi-Fi, the small TV gave us problems, the shower was gross and the refrigerator was rusted. The pool was closed and the water was green. There was a large pet fee for four nights that was charged twice and they said they would refund us but we haven’t gotten anything. We stayed only 1 of the 4 nights. Hotels.com tried to reach the hotel to get a refund for the three nights for us, but no one would ever answer the phone! Now we have disputed it all through our Capital One credit card. Hotels.com should not be offering this hotel!

The bed sheets and covers were stained and had very bad odors so we had to go to Walmart to buy pillows and purchase a bed in a bag to at least make it through the weekend there . The bathroom had mold on the shower curtains and roaches took over in the middle of the night very bad experience i feel like i got robbed because what we got was not what was shown to us online this place is terrible.

This is definitely not a 3 star hotel. 1 1/2 or 2 at the most. Mold on the ceiling, no hairdryer or trash can in the bathroom and needed a lot of paint touchups.

This was the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. From the filthy room, including stained comforters, mold in bathrooms, filth in the sink and bugs crawling I am surprised the health inspector would allow them to remain open.

This place is horrible! The property as a whole is in poor condition and the room itself is gross! Mold on the ceiling, mirror off the wall, hole in the drywall in the bathroom, couch dirty, shower has paint flaking off....just horrible!

Towels old and dingy. Bed not made while i was there. TV didn't work even after clerk supposedly repaired it. Out of coffee two out of three times I went for coffee. Asked for discount and they just smiled. I would recommend for DAY'S INN reputation that they take their name off of this old dilapidated property!

I recently stayed at the Days Inn in Statesboro, and it was one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. The room was incredibly dirty, and the bathroom and entire room reeked of urine. I was so disgusted that I had to go to the nearest Walmart to buy cleaning supplies just to disinfect the bathroom myself. The microwave was filthy and completely unusable. To make matters worse, I had to kill several cockroaches inside the room. It was extremely unsettling and made me question the overall cleanliness and safety of the hotel. The pool was no better completely neglected, with green, murky water that was too disgusting to even consider using. I would strongly advise anyone considering a stay at this location to look elsewhere. The lack of cleanliness and maintenance is unacceptable, and it was clear that the hotel is not being properly cared for. I will never be staying here again. I would never recommend this hotel to no one. The pictures on the website are a fraud.

The description of the room was not accurate. I booked a room with a sofa bed. We did not get a sofa bed when I asked about it, they said none of their rooms have them it’s just on the site. The toilet did not work. It was a very noisy hotel. There were stains on the towels.

I genuinely feel sorry for the operators of this property. They are clearly in over their heads. This place has a location literally right next to the college, couldn't be better. But the motel (and it is a motel not a hotel) is run down, dirty and suffers from zero maintenance. The first room they put us in smelled not like an ashtray, but like a 30 year old ashtray that had never been cleaned. I felt like I should hold my breath when I walked in. The second room didn't smell, but it had a single queen bed (I reserved a king), there was no nightstand on one side of the bed, the TV remote was missing, the shower looked atrocious (did not use it), and the door was nearly impossible to open and close. I have never paid so much for so little.

Not a safe place to stay people who stay there are in the parking lot all hours of the night and standing outside the rooms all night watching and looking at parking lot. The front desk took my credit card for incidentals and did not return the $50 deposit for incidentals. The white washcloths were gray.

Room was nice , very clean and the beds were soft !! Old building and not sound proof. There were people outside of room until late. Once they quieted down it was great sleeping

Could not adjust the temp or fan on the AC/Heater it was either 60 degrees or off. They gave only two towels, one hand towel and two rags some of which looked dirty.

The management at this hotel had terrible customer service. They were not able to accommodate an elderly couple and their caregiver in a first floor room. There was no way for the couple to get to a second floor room with their walkers. The property would not issue a refund even though they could not check the party in. They said it was up to Expedia to issue the refund. Expedia refused a refund stating there were no special requests entered on the reservation. C’mon, the 88 year old couple was good to make an online reservation while traveling on the road for an emergency. They deserve the benefit of the doubt and the hotel did not incur any expenses. The Days Inn in Statesboro, Ga. and Expedia demonstrated greed over service. Despicable!

The handicap room bathroom didn’t have a walk-in shower. How is a challenged person supposed to climb over a tall bathtub? The bed was so high that a person would need a step ladder to get in. I’m 5’10’”. Makes no sense. The tv operation was absurdly difficult. A $50 charge was added to the bill to cover “possible damage”.My wife and I are 80 years old, what on earth were they expecting us to do? Days Inn has seen the last of us.

Choose because of proximity to an event we were attending: Room had a urine odor, furnishing very old, one trash receptacle which we kept moving back & forth bathroom to room, shower head was corroded so we did not take a shower.Towels did not look clean so we requested new set , no box of facial tissue. Could not get TV to work . Eventually received help from employee, then we coulda’t turn it off so we unplugged. Oh there was one good amenity: hot water at the bathroom sink. I felt as if I was on a TV reality show “The worst hotel room stay ever”. I must say, I did not see any bedbugs and the one staff member we encountered was very cordial and helpful. She checked us in and brought towels and fixed the TV. Please note, this is not indicative of all Days Inn. Thankful this was only a one night stay.

I am very disappointed in my stay here at the days inn room #227 nothing is like the pictures online. There are no headboards to the beds, no pictures on the walls, no alarm clock, no phone, microwave did not work at all. It came on but never heated. You can leave it on for a few minutes and open up the door and It would be room temperature inside the microwave. No toilet paper, no extra linens. When we asked for extra linens they were damp/wet. the Wi-Fi For the room, never worked on any of our devices when we tried to connect. Very unacceptable!

Sheets stained no hot water rooms nasty. Had to go ask for toilet paper. Just shut this place down!!

The staff were very nice and accommodating! However the entire establishment could use an upgrade. Something simple like new sheets and comforters, everything looked and felt dingy. The light over the sink clearly needed a new bulb and we had to move one of the table lamps just to see in the mirror. The floors and caulking around the tub could be redone to give the place a cleaner feel.. unfortunately where the staff were lovely the condition of the room overshadowed. Especially for the price.. I felt like we were in a facility that catered to “hourly” patrons if you get my drift..

The property looks to be neglected. The shower walls were dirty. The towels had stains. The canvas awing is ripped to shreds. The continental breakfast was poor. Cereal and coffee with one piece of fruit.
