The hotel was great. It was a beautiful setting, quiet, and conveniently located. A great seafood restaurant was just a couple of blocks away. The staff was friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The air conditioning unit in the room makes a lot of noise. It was so loud that disturbed our sleep. It was a slight mildew smell in the bathroom.

My family and I have stayed at several Best Westerns throughout the country, and this one in Brunswick was horrible and the worst. First, the toilet was disgusting and had some type of horrible blood looking leak coming from the toilet seat. They gave us another room, only to find the toilet in THAT room was running! We had to take the back off every time we flushed to make it stop. There was no way to close the curtains at night (the white interior nylon curtains were brown stained and dirty). I had to use a rubber band to bunch the center together so no one could look into our room. We were on the second floor, so we took the stairs which looked like they hadn’t been swept in months. Even though the location of this Best Western and the exterior looked very inviting, the inside was filthy.

We had a good time on our family vacation. This hotel was centrally located to all our activities! The staff was super friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was hot. The pool was great except the tile floor around the pool was slippery. They did put up signs to warn of this though which was great! Room with two queen beds was comfortable. We had two young kids who are loud so they could be heard down the hall but no one seemed to complain. Definitely kid friendly but also great for a business trip as it had a huge workspace in the room. Located close to the highway so was easy on/off.

Check in was great. We were in our rooms within minutes. The room was clean but there was visible dust sitting in the vent of the air conditioner, and the water wasn't draining the the shower. My the time I was done, there was water up to my ankles. There were 2 phones in the room and neither one of them worked, so I walked to the front seat to tell them about the issue. I was told by the front desk that the plumber was out until Monday. He did come my too look at it and after messing with the trap a bit, the water finally drained, but the issue kept happening all weekend long. My son was unable to shower right after me or vice versa. Breakfast was ok. Not a big selection was but it was warm and fresh.

Upon arrival, I noticed that the door to my room was not fully shut. So I went downstairs to ask the front desk person to change me to a different room, and he said that they were fully booked. He wanted me to go and check out the room. If I didn’t feel safe, he would try to move me to a different room. I felt like a burden to the front desk person, although I had every right to feel uncomfortable. That night, I had a hard time sleeping and could not wait to get up in the morning and leave. I will not be staying at this hotel again.

Staff were friendly but state of hotel itself was poor. Carpets in our room were wet & there was an overall dampness. When I called about rug, I was told all room rugs had been deep cleaned and there wasn’t another for us to go to. Looks like the building was dealing with water damage in general. Dampness appeared to cause doors to swell. Bathroom door couldn’t be shut & it took effort to close main door to room.

Comfortable stay for three nights. . Breakfast was underwhelming: potatoes were dry or freezer burnt; no bacon on 2 of 3 days; oj was watery on one day; bread choices were bland; eggs tasteless--sad way to start the day. Beds were comfortable and room was clean. Pool had convenient hours, with pool towels always available. Room (bathroom), pool, and hallways showing signs of a less-than remodeling when BW took ownership of the property. Coffee and tea station open 24 hrs.

Had a well appointed room at first, but the A/C didn’t work. Was moved to a handicapped room that was not nearly as nice.

The people at the front desk were wonderful! However, it was very frustrating having to request our garbages be changed almost every day as the cleaners were not doing so. Breakfast was beyond wonderful our first morning! Each morning it was almost as though the breakfast area had less & less options. My kids absolutely loved that they could make their own waffles though! I would stay here again without a doubt, even with the small issues, it wasn’t a huge deal.

The staff was very pleasant, but everything else was such a disappointment. I have stayed here before in the past and was very satisfied this time. A very bad experience the room had a big crack down the wall with a picture missing very noticeable and the breakfast the next morning Was very unsatisfactory. There were no eggs, cold unfavorable hashbrowns. I don’t know what they called the meat. It was very hard and gross. Definitely will not stay here again. I feel like booking on Expedia. They put us in the basement and worse room of the hotel I was told I should book directly if I wanted them to do anything for me to help .

The hotel was quite comfortable and in a great location as we wished to visit Brunswick and Bath on the same trip celebrating our 55th wedding anniversary. The hotel unfortunately was not in the best of shape, starting with our room entry light not working, the sink drain not draining and more. Also, the pool bathroom had no paper towels, no soap and with a shower, that had no place to hang the shower sprayer unit and also a hot & cold handle that came off rather easily. In addition, the shower gel, shampoo and conditioner were all empty. It's a shame as the hotel has a very nice lobby and even an excellent breakfast and comfortable sitting location.
