This hotel is right out of the 80's. So very dated. The staff were great, no complaints. Our room's balcony was on the pool side. So room cooled off great when we put the air on. Too cold if you can believe it. But the comforter is little more than a sheet. Blanket was meh. Pillows felt like just cases stuffed of poly-fil. If we weren't so desperate for a room on HC wkd, we would have stayed elsewhere.

I liked the convenience of the location. The room was pretty clean and the staff was very friendly. I liked their breakfast choices too. Except the eggs were a little cold. But otherwise it hsd good choices.

The property is well kept. I did notice some nats or fruit flies in my room. The lightening in the bathroom could have been brighter and the towels were very rough, it was like drying your face with sandpaper. The bathroom comments are my opinion. Others may think it’s perfect. The hotel charges you $3 a day to park your vehicle which isn’t listed anywhere except your bill. I wasn’t expecting that. There’s plenty of space to park, that fee is ridiculous.

When we arrived check in was good but when we got to our room it had a terrible smell. It was coming from the bathroom and when I pulled back the shower curtain the smell of mold and mildew was so bad! We were able to switch rooms easily which was a plus. The room was clean but the tub could really use some work and the shampoo bottles on the wall had black stuff surrounding it where it was mounted. The water pressure and temperature were good though. All and all I don’t think I would stay here again nor would I recommend it.

Check in and front desk was very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I have had in years!! Love the cage free eggs gluten and dairy free options and turkey sausage. The attendant to the food was amazing. The rooms were very clean.

So sad we did not have a pool. That was the reason we booked it. Due to ordering through expedia we could not cancel. Disappointing that that information wasn't shared with us.

Most of the night we had a fire alarm beeping in our room every 3-5 minutes, tried calling the front desk and it would not go through on the room phone. Still had garbage around the beds on the ground. Smelled like stale smoke or dirty in the room and bathroom especially.
No hot tub and smaller pool.
Front desk staff was very polite when in person and breakfast was well stocked.

Really just passable. Our room was not all clean. The breakfast was too awful to describe. Bed and bedding not good. So hot in the room we had to open the window.

Easy to get to and convenient to where we were visiting.

The front desk staff is friendly and quick to check in. The pool was nice and there was barely anyone in there. The area was close to restaurants and the mall. Great breakfast selection! The room was clean, but the bathroom did have a weird smell to it. We just kept the fan on and it was fine. Overall it was a great stay!

The property is run down. There was hair on the bathroom floor when I checked in so it must not have been cleaned. The shower caulking also had mildew. Won’t book here again.

It is a nice place. We were not at the room very much but it was clean and the beds are comfortable.

We had a great time in Mankato, we came for the Minnesota state University graduation. I also enjoyed the farmers market on Saturday morning in the parking lot in back of the hotel
