I'm putting in a complaint to Hotels.Com, not the Vintage Block.
Once again, Hotels is showing amenities that are not available. This is happening more frequently over the last year or so.
Once again, Hotels shows breakfast available, and it's not. I've been looking for an online method of complaining, but it's just not there.
Overall the Vintage Block is a great place to stay. Friendly service, clean, quiet. Beautiful room. I'd likely stay again

5 stars isn't enough! Our stay at Vintage Block inn and suites was awesome! It was the first time we stayed there and we absolutely loved it. The location is great-close to everything and we were able to take a long hike along the lake. The room decor is so fun and it feels like home. Misty is awesome and helped us adjust our reservation which was above and beyond as it was my mistake!! Can't say enough great things about this place. We'll definitely be back!!

Comfortable beds, fun remodel design, easy parking right in front of unit. They were set up with books and extras for kids. No options for Gluten Free breakfast, room smelled musty, possibly it was the A/C unit.

We recently stayed at Vintage Block and we were pleasantly surprised. Upon check in we got a room with more beds than expected which was nice. Our fridge was not working appropriately upon arrival and they promptly brought in a new one. There were a lot of fun activities to do during down time. Our kids absolutely loved the bikes and games.
If I had to give some feedback it would be that some of the games were old and weathered. The basketball shot needed batteries and the balls were flat, but we made it work and still had so much fun! I would recommend this place.

Unique decor and nice vacation vibe. The picnic tables, fire rings, and bicycles were nice perks.
The room smelled a little damp, but running the air conditioner seemed to mitigate it.

This place is beauty And comfort, including accommodating and peaceful. We are visitors every year, and it always feels like home.

Very family friendly. Kids loved the pool, bicycle surreys, book bags, games (outdoor and office supply to borrow). Playground across the highway was very nice! Breakfast offered a nice variety. I would have enjoyed more protein choices. Beds comfy, towels fresh and clean.

Nice place, but first impression upon walking into the main lobby wasn't welcoming. They've evidently had unruly guests and have hung too many signs on the wall about "behaving or else".

Check in we quick and easy. Our room was very cute and the hotel offers pool, surrey bikes, firepits with free wood, and a small free breakfast. I wasn't sure what hotel to pick, but I'm glad i picked this one!

Village Block Suites has a rustic vibe which I found charming. We did have a problem with the booked dates and found ourselves locked out on the last night because of that. The staff resolved the matter quickly and they were all very accommodating and friendly.

I was there not a whole day. I came and it took a while to get the Internet 😕. Then the next morning I couldn't get on for nothing 😕. The lighting could be a little brighter. And the coffee pot leaks. If you put it on a pad to soak up the water it would be fine. Otherwise I liked it.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The center area with games, grills, pool, and cute lighting was a cute attraction but definitely not able to be used by all. Understandable since there seemed to be an event this weekend. Only downfall was that quiet time hours werent always followed by everyone. Given the layout of the property, when people are loud after hours, voices definitely carry. Not knocking them for having fun on vacation, but maybe have a little consideration for all the others on vacation too you want to catch some zzzs. 🙂

Beautiful facility. Super friendly staff. We biked around west Okoboji Lake. Easy access to paved bike trail. Also central walking around town and lakes. Highly recommend.

Didn’t have free hot breakfast as advertised, had hard water, crude bed frames caused sore legs when bumped going around them& tv didn’t have local & regional programming that we could find. Refrigerator froze everything put in and no comfortable chair to watch bad tv in

This place is amazing! So is Misty, the General Manager! Rooms were spacious, clean, and decorated with the vintage lake vibe. Great courtyard with games, grills, picnic tables, fire pits, and a swimming pool. Each room had a table and chairs on the patio and beautiful flowers. You could tell how well it is taken care of and Misty took very good care of us. Perfect location in the heart of Okoboji - we will be back!
