Great place. The room was comfortable and the AC was on when I got in which made my stay even better. It was around the stores for the rich. I felt safe. There was plenty to do in the area.

Nice and confortable place, very close to Louise Metro and to the city center. Hotel's staff is nice and kind.

The staff was very kind, just the room needs some updates and the bathroom smelled like cat pee, It was a bit strange.

Hotel room was very basic but clean. Good breakfast. Good option if you want to be a bit outside the hustle of the very touristy section. Walkable distance from central station.

We were on a budget and this hotel delivered good value for money. Staff were friendly, nice breakfast room and range of food, good location. Our stay could have been better with a few changes - more than just one English breakfast tea bag, soap in the bathroom and an extra pillow (we asked at reception but there were no extra pillows available).

Very basic, just one free socket, which is behind the bed. Socket for the kettle and fridge was hanging loose from the wall. No pleasant dim lights next to the bed, only harsh and bright lights. Wifi didn't work for online calling. Good bed, friendly staff.

I had a comfortable stay here. The room was a perfecr little haven of peace overlooking a garden area. The hotel is only metres off a main high end shopping avenue and the walk into the main tourist areas was interesting viewing ..with a park opposite or alternately along abd down the mont de arts. The breakfast was exceptional . Unfortunately the lift wasnt working and i was on the 4Th floor , so lots of exercise . The compensation was a complimentry breakfast.

Good hotel with great location

Lift was broken and wasnt notified, placed a 30week pregnant lady on the 4th floor! So had to climb those stairs daily! Breakfast was very poor! Very cramped and over crowded. Poor food choice, and often ran out, coffee machine didnt work! Should really offer Breakfast as a booking system to avoid this! We had no shower gel in our bathroom. Air-conditioning didnt work was bowing out boiling hot air.

Stayed here for a short family break and enjoyed ourselves very much. Staff were very friendly and helpful, room was clean and comfortable, good selection for breakfast buffet, and the location was great for travelling around Brussels. Would definitely stay here again on my next trip

The continental breakfast was good and has different coffees and warm pancakes and fruit juices, so whole family happy The beds in the main room, just needs stoppers on them, if you learn against them or get to the middle, they move apart far too easy. Otherwise a good night sleep. Will stay again.

The hotel appears to mainly cater for business clients, but welcomed our young family nonetheless. Friendly, helpful staff, great wi-fi and excellent breakfasts make for a relaxing stay. Bathrooms could do with updating, but showers were hot and powerful, which made up for it in my eyes! Great location for exploring Brussels, we would definitely return here.

Good value for money, as the hotel is within (reasonable) walking distance from Brussels city centre. Nice and clean, although a pretty small, room and helpful staff. Good breakfast.

The room was nice. A decent bed. It had a coffee pot which is important to my husband. The windows open and even though it was December I like fresh air. The buffet breakfast was very nice. Eggs, cheese, meat, fruits, breads, juice and more. The front desk people were nice and the location worked for us to see the Christmas markets.

This hotel is very basic with minimal amenities. My room was so tiny the night-stand was crammed behind a dusty chair, and there was no bedside lamp. I had to push the tiny desk over to be able to fit my suitcase on the stand. There was a ration of one bath towel and one hand towel per day, however, the shower was the lovely open European kind, with no bathmat. When I asked for a bathmat or extra towel, staff argued with me. While I support not cleaning towels every day for ecological reasons, without a bath mat, the floor flooded and was slippery. Eventually, I received one extra handtowel to use as a bathmat. (It may have been because I have a habit of tipping housekeeping having once worked as such.) There were two plugs in the room, one behind the bed and one under the suitcase rack, so I had to climb under the furniture or push the bed aside to plug in my phone and laptop. There was no coffee maker, just a kettle which did not reach the outlet (see previous comment). There was no room safe; they were supposed to provide a safe at reception, but I was told they had no place to keep things. The breakfast was basic, the coffee quite good. I expected a small room but was hoping for European historical. Instead, the hotel was built with new-ish low-grade materials, in a bit of disrepair. There was no security, anyone could walk in and go upstairs. The location close to Louise metro made it easy to get around. I would not recommend this hotel.

This is the third year of staying at the Hotel Argus and this year they have improved the facilities to make the stay better. I stay while visiting the classic car show each November. Plenty of eateries in the area and top brand name shopping for the ladies. We will be back again next year.

Pros: location, attentive staff, good breakfast Cons: Moldy bathroom? Overall our stay was pretty good, with a small detail about spots of mold growing in the bathroom tiles, which they promised to remove and clean thoroughly after we left. the property was very well situated, with restaurants, museums, and shops all within 15 min walking distance. The grand Place is only 10-15 min more. The section of town is very quiet and the staff was very attentive. The breakfast is a very complete Continental (bread, juice, eggs, sausages/bacon, yogurt, cheese, fresh fruit, coffee, crepes, tea, and chocolate) but exactly the same every day. The hotel does not have a Laundry room, but there is one 10 min walk from there.
